They were insisting they would present me with a treatment plan ( payment plan) Not at all happy the cleaning was not done This will likely be a problem trying to get a cleaning with another dentist because I had x rays and exam but no cleaning My recommendation is to avoid this dental clinic

We eventually came to the conclusion that she was not a good fit for me or my family. Right away, all of the hygienists that we knew and liked were replaced or moved on. Even the wonderful receptionist, Donna, is gone now. Dr Erica and her staff do not listen to patients. I feel like we were always being encouraged to do expensive treatments that might not have been necessary. Also, I declined to have a certain procedure done during routine cleanings. Every time I came for my checkup, the hygienist would lecture me and try to twist my arm into doing the procedure even after I politely and repeatedly declined. When I raised the issue with Dr Erica, she was dismissive of my concerns and continued to try to coerce me into a procedure I didn't want. I did not feel as if she respected me or my wishes, so we have moved on to another dental practice.

She readily referred me when I wanted an implant. She is gentle and often cleans my teeth herself. She always does a thorough exam of my mouth. Let me start by saying Dr Tammy Giannetta, is a great dentist and care was great…read more What I am not impressed with is her hatred for silver fillings that us Gen X people have. I never went in there and asked to have them removed, and every time I would come in she would find a new cavity (very hard to believe now looking back) so then out of pocket was running between $150-300 each time, the bigger problem is one of the new composite fillings that replaced a silver filling is now a larger issue for me and will cost me well over $1200 to fix the damage she cause from the removal of the silver filling and leaving a hole in the tooth. My new dentist reviewed my whole file and X-rays and found nothing that could have been a reason to remove the silver filling. Thank god I do not need a root canal but only a crown, and this is coming from someone who has been to a dentist every 6 months since I was 3 years old. My new dentist is also friends with my previous dentist (who retired hence Dr G visit) I must have looked like a patient with $$$ signs above my head but trusting Dr G that she was knowledgeable and now to only find out some tooth damage is a bigger price to pay.

4/10/26: Horrible experience! Went in for 3 extraction and a partial implant. I had already…read moreexplained prior to this visit I have great anxiety when it comes to dental work. Had 3 extractions done just to find out the partial had an extra tooth in the back so it was very uncomfortable. Like why would you add an extra tooth to the partial on one side but not the other if it wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. After several attempts of Dr. Gregory Den trying to adjust the partial he still failed to make it comfortable. Then once I left the office and tried to send my niece back inside because I was so upset that I spent a lot of money to have this procedure done and I was not satisfied. I wanted to ensure my prescriptions had been ordered for pain/antibiotic and I believed I may have dropped my sunglasses while inside. They immediately locked the door behind me and refused to take my calls after multiple attempts. Not only that, he admitted they over charged me for the procedure. I will be filing a complaint with the Illinois State Dental Society and Division of Professional Regulation and possibly a lawsuit. You don't treat customers this way. His dental assistant working with him had a very nasty attitude as well. Even my niece noticed the same thing. She started putting numbing gel on my back teeth initially and I told her I was having my front teeth extracted. She goes oh, and then looked at my chart and started using the topical gel on the appropriate teeth. Didn't apologize or anything. The allowed blood to get on my brand new sweatshirt and only provided me with 1 gauze to leave with. my niece asked if we could have another one for the ride home. The dentist instructed her to give my niece 2 more instead. She shook her head and gave my niece only 1 and left the room.

She was literally crying and asking them to stop. Water spraying on her face with no care to wipe it off. Not only that, but also while asked to give a review, the same person helped her pull it up on her phone AND PRESSED THE 5 STAR REVIEW and submitted it. This is not the level of care and comfort anyone should have at the dentist. I will also be reaching out to the Orthodontist and let them know the type of care they referred her to. She just got comfortable enough with the dentist in order to get braces, and to have this lack of care, especially with new patients, and a person who's not even a week into braces is Beyond me. Shame on you for not providing a level if care you would expect to have!
