We grabbed seats at the bar and started off with a round of drinks--Old Fashioneds and Martinis. Both were excellent. The bartenders here clearly take their craft seriously--my Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the Martini (classic gin, of course) was ice cold with a clean finish. Definitely not your average bowling alley cocktails. The space itself is a great blend of upscale lounge and casual fun. It's stylish without being pretentious, with a cool retro vibe and a welcoming crowd. We didn't bowl this time, but the lanes looked great, and it's definitely on the list for the next visit. The overall vibe was perfect for a laid-back evening with colleagues--plenty of energy, good music, and room to unwind without feeling rushed or crowded. If you're in Davenport and looking for a spot that mixes craft cocktails with something a little out of the ordinary, Blackhawk Bowl is absolutely worth checking out. Had I not gotten that one strike I would have been convinced that one pin was glued to the floor. LOL. My company holiday party was held here on a Saturday night and we had a blast. (Note: the lounge is only open Wednesday-Saturday evenings, starting at 4PM.) Things that were great-- - The entire vibe. It had cocktail tables throughout and was perfect for mixing and mingling with coworkers. - Shoes. They weren't old and gross! Always a win in my book. - The convenience of having it at the bottom of the hotel and being able to partake/enjoy then just head up the elevator for a good nights sleep. - Pricing for walk-ins seems ok, $5 a game, $4 for shoes. (But call ahead and make a reservation and pay per hour at $35-$45?) - Staff. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. A couple things that wasn't on par-- - The food. We did a pizza bar and it was nothing to write home about. - As other Yelpers have mentioned, the cocktails were not that good. After having one martini I opted for an Aperol Spritz... and the bartender was reading the recipe off the back of the bottle. A for effort. - We rented the entire space for about four hours and half the lanes were out of order randomly? Kind of a bummer. - No Big Ten Network! - Finally, there was a sign that there was a private event at the entrance of the lounge but it wasn't posted anywhere on social. There were multiple groups that were kind of bummed to have driven there and parked to just have to go home. Overall a super fun time. I think if they made a few tweaks (updates, menu changes, etc) this place would be amazing. Overall, Blackhawk Bowl & Martini Lounge is worth a try!

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. We had a good time bowling two games and having some food and…read moredrinks with friends. It was an "a-ok experience", so, 3 stars it is. There were some issues, but, the single worker in the whole place did his best and was very friendly. He had a lot to do! We ordered two pizzas that were mediocre. The supreme came with some meat toppings that didn't reach the whole pizza, and, was lacking any of the veggie toppings. Kind of an odd taste to the pizzas, but hey, we did chow them down and didn't get sick after. The place is like a time capsule back to the 80s. Kind of cool actually. The lanes worked with minor issues. It kept not giving one of our bowlers the spares she got. Luckily, we knew how to work the machine to correct the scores. Overall, we had a good time here; and, we appreciate the hard work of the single employee.

Terrible service…read more Lady manager on Saturday 7/22/23 had a bad attitude and when I asked about a drinks with lower sugar she said they all have the same sugar content. Got the tie die punch and it was awe til. I had 3 different people take a sip and they all said it was gross. Took a full pitcher back to the counter to see if they could make me something else and the lady started helping me and the bar tender (male) started talking over her pointing at a sign as saying that there are no refunds and if I wanted something else I would have to pay for it. After explaining that 3 others said something is off and one of her mixers probably went bad she remade me a drink. Overall rude experience. I am shaking now because they instead of fixing the issue and possibly tasting it them selves made me feel incompetent and didn't diffuse the situation properly. The manager did make me a new drink finally and it tasted better. WILL NEVER GO BACK, I FELT MISTREATED. Where here with a birthday party of about 30 people and they had nothing but bad things to say about almost every experience they had. The bar area wasn't staffed super well, but we did go at an off time of day to avoid a big crowd. Offerings include a large parking area, private party rooms, bowling lanes (with bumpers if needed), separate bar area (but food and drinks can be taken anywhere), and a game area.
