I bought my spa from Leisure Times in 2006. Still running great thanks to my hard work and the incredible help from the owner Tim and his guys. I bought a mother board on line to save a few bucks and Tim took the time to walk me thru my problem, made up a replacement jumper at no charge and stayed with it until I got it going. Wasn't even his part! I recently had a leak and Tim and the southside guys probably spent an hour and a half helping me. Think I spent $8 on a gasket. If you like to maintain your own stuff, these guys are the best. And if you want them to service it, lots of experience. They know what their doing, their honest and their prices are great. I don't write these reviews but this company deserves the attn. Gerald Ray read more

I've been stewing on this for a long time and over the weekend was talking to my cousin about our pool heater issues. My issues, I bought a new Hayward pool heater a few years back. Took these idiots 6 months of not working, several times coming out to discover (from a tech out of Texas) to realize that the gas line/pressure was not high enough. I got a plumber out to up the pressure and lo and behold it worked, only to start leaking within 6 months. They sent out a tech only to tell me damage was due to high chlorine (salt water pool) and voided the warranty! And yes Jordan was a total *ss when you try to talk to him. Next issue, my cousin had a heat exchanger replaced and within 2-3 months it's leaking!!! Leisure time would not do anything about it until 2-3 visits to the store when "Mr. Friendly" Jordan decided to have a repair tech come out to his house. I was at the house along with my cousin when the tech took the heater apart and it clearly was broke at a seam in the heat exchanger, all 3 of us witnessed this along with a video we took. About 3 weeks later my cousin finds out voided warranty because of no back flow preventer? I called Jordan had explained that the video shows a back flow preventer?? "We only go on our techs word and the warranty is void!!! People please, do not purchase anything from these people, they will find any reason to Void your warranty, even if they have to make something us to void it as in both of these issues. The funny thing as I'm typing it my phone shows a comment under the comment that says "This review is looking pretty epic! Nice! If you can see from Mr. friendly Jordan's response, it's all about lie and deny. The technician never tested my water level to see the chemical level! I was there when he showed up. As far as my cousin's pool heater myself, my cousin and the technician all seen the seam leaking in the pool heater. All three of us agreed that it must've been a manufacturers defect because it was on a seam! However, Jordan wants to push the blame onto Hayward to make himself clear from the damages. Which I understand it's not leisure times fault, but Hayward's for a faulty heat exchanger. However, the technician said they were going to send the heat exchanger back to leisure time to have it inspected. So Mr. Jordan, who then inspected the heat exchanger? If the technician said it was going back to your shop to be tested. Final word on this leisure time will lie and deny any type of warranty claims. And they're not the friend list bunch of people when you go in! read more

Leisure Time Pools & Spas - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Leisure time has been my go to for all my Pool needs for the past 22 years, Tim the owner is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. Unfortunately one of the young men that works there I believe it's Tim's son does not like me I feel because of my political views. For context like everybody in Oklahoma City over the past four years have had lots of problems with algae blooms and we all shared my frustrations but when I was in there earlier this year I think his name is Jordan told me to wait outside the "testing"area. After 10 minutes my back was killing me ( I am 65 years old) so I stepped inside and sat on the stool. He continued to help the customer another 10 minutes then a lady walked in at which point he walked right around me and went up to help her; I was really angry. I saw Daniel and quite honestly dumped my frustration on him telling him to come back and help me with my testing. It devolved from there with Daniel yelling at me because I called him Dan then Jordan walked by with a condescending voice telling me I could leave if I didn't like it. After four years of algae blooms, green pool and lots of new filter medium/chemicals I learned all the chemistry and had the pool balanced perfectly. No more problems I simply wanted them to test my water for phosphates because even though I had hired a pool guy I was still going to buy all my chemicals from Leisure Time. A few months ago I was trying to purchase a $1500 pump from them but they would not return my calls so I guess I've been banned from the store; don't care but really do not like dealing with Leslie's Pools. I write this review to apologize to Daniel he had no knowledge of what transpired before our conversation. read more

A good interested local business that knows what they're talking about. I trust them with sampling my water to the parts I need to keep my pool running and clean read more

We have received exceptional service from Leisure Time. In this time of isolation, they have delivered supplies to our home, made repairs to our system, and recommended a service company for pool maintenance. They respond to requests for assistance in a very timely manner and all communications are highly professional. I couldn't speak more highly of Jenni and the rest of the team at Leisure Time! If you're looking for a great pool company, this is they one! Thank you! read more

I've known the owner, Tim Hayes, since I was a kid. All the employees are friendly and knowledgable. Great prices on supplies. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for help with their pools read more

I'm not one to bash a company, but I have to be honest here. First impression was really good. Jordan and team delivered the tub when they said they would and got it all setup. However, several things promised were not delivered. They forgot the filter to connect to hose to fill the tub up...therefore we had to wait 2 more hours, forgot a riser seat, forgot cover holders & forgot the Silk water treatment. Later that same evening, I went to check the jets and light making sure they worked like Jordan suggested. Pumps worked fine, but half of the lights on the tub did not work. I texted Jordan on the number he provided for service on Feb 14th and he said his tech would be out Sat Feb 16th to repair it. On Tuesday Feb 19th, my family got into the tub and the lights were still not working. I texted Jordan again that same night letting him know about my frustrations with the lights still not working. He responded with "it was too cold for my tech to come out"! I did not receive a call or anything form Leisure Time Pools and Spa's letting me know that they were not coming! Very frustrating! Today is Feb 25th and I still do not have working lights! I called and spoke to the owner of the NW OKC location today letting him know about the situation. He continued to give excuses and never said sorry for the lack of communication! You would have thought he would have. He continued to remind me it's just lights! Really man? I recommend looking elsewhere for a tub! Find a company that will communicate with you, do what they say they will do and deliver a working tub! read more

Everyone in the store was very friendly and extremely helpful. Jordan and his crew did an excellent job installing our hot tub. We were very impressed with Jordan, he knew what he was doing and was extremely knowledgeable. He took time explaining everything to us and making sure we understood it all before they left. If you are looking for a pool or hot tub this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. read more

I will send payment but I am very disappointed in service and will not continue to be a customer there. Not only was the service awful, but the response when I called in TWICE was equally not good. Very disappointing experience actually. I paid 135.00 for 15 minutes for something my 10 year old grandson could have done. read more

I am saddened that I have to even post such a negative review, however, I was treated very poorly by Tim (the owner) recently, with absolutely no resolution, and want others to be aware. He has always been in a bad mood but there is no excuse for treating customers the way he does. We have been doing business with Tim and Leisure Time for over 20 years. Work we had done by one of his sub-contractors was extremely substandard and did not resolve the problem that he said would be fixed around our inground pool. I think the reason we've continued to do business with this company for so many years is because we have had no issues (other than putting up with Tim's bad attitude). Now that we do, you can bet they will NOT get any more of our business or anyone we know. The subcontractor will not return any calls or text messages and Tim just pacified us for over 3 months by saying "I will get with him." then nothing. His latest response to yet another call for help in resolving our pool issue that we paid almost $7000 for was "Nope, I am not going to give you a timeframe" and hung up. This was in response to my asking if he could tell me "approximately" when someone could come out so we can use our pool this summer. As the owner of the company I would think that he is responsible for the work that his subcontractor does but he doesn't seem to think so. We will obviously be seeking legal advice at this point, finding someone that will fix the problem, fork out more money and hopefully have legal backing to pass the cost onto either Leisure Time or the subcontractor. Needless to say, please don't use this company and please don't trust ANYONE when they say "I can't 100% guarantee this will fix the problem but I KNOW this is the cure"...What were we thinking!! This should have been the RED flag but who would have thought that after so many years this is how we would be treated. I hope Tim can read this...PLEASE RETIRE because you are not doing anyone any favors by treating your customers so poorly. You got our money and now we've been kicked to the curb. Good luck to anyone who reads the good reviews and decides to go ahead and use them for ANYTHING other than pool supplies. I was that person too...Wish I had listened to my neighbor and used who she uses. read more

This place is so rude. I bought a part for my pool that they RECOMMENDED and it ended up not fitting my pool so I tried to take it back brand new in the box still and they said I could not return it under there discretion. They offered to have there people come out and install it for us for a extra fee but would not refund my money back. read more

Please do not deal with these people! I bought a top of the line pool from them. At installation, they had neglected to send the additional upgrade to the step that I ordered. So the company they contracted to install the pool had no idea about it and installed the step without it. I called Leisure Time and they sent two guys out to install the additional step, however rather than pulling the whole thing out of the pool and doing it right, they just put the addition in there and connected it (without additional sand). The next day, it floated up and came apart. I called them and they said they would be out within the week. A week goes by and then she said "we'll be out by the next week". Then,"we'll be out by Memorial Day". The Wednesday before Memorial Day, I decide to go to the store and talk to the manager. I spoke to Tim Hayes. He said "yes, I know the whole story". He was rude and seemed to talk down to me like I was an annoying, complaining woman. He MADE EXCUSES AND NEVER APOLOGIZED. He stated that it would not be done by Memorial Day, but would be done the next week. He guaranteed it. The next week went by and still nothing. They didn't call, didn't even text to tell me it would be delayed again. I realize they got busy during this time. However, this tells me that they got my money, and then just didn't care about anything after that. This is the second time I have dealt with them and got a raw deal. I wish I would have learned my lesson the first time. read more

We had great service a few years ago, but something has changed. We bought a $6,000 Sundance tub in MARCH. They installed it but I never could get them to come back and make some simple adjustments so we could use it. Finally, in JULY the young guy came out and fixed it so I could do the Water Therapy. The LED light on the ladder bar never worked so he took it apart and took it back to the store. Now it is mid-August and we have not heard any thing from them, phone calls are not returned. I wonder what has happened? read more

If you have a pool and need help, this is the place to go! I've tried other pool service companies, and this family owned business is tops! Friendly, helpful and great service! If you have water issues or questions about your pool or hot tub- see Jordan. Excellent diagnosis and help. Recently, he suggested a new type of hot tub chemical maintenance and it works perfectly - floating chemical release ball. My hot tub has been clear for 3 weeks! read more
