Weekdays it is open from 9 AM to 9 PM, but closed on Sundays. Huge lot for parking. The library itself is beautiful. There's a large fountain in the center of the building that gives the space a unique, open feel, and it makes the library feel more like a community gathering place with an air of nostalgia and calmness that comes with a spa day. There are lots of tables and study areas spread throughout the library, so it's never difficult to find a place to sit. The collections are plentiful, with a wide selection of books across different genres, mixed media, and materials for everyone including a dedicated children's area. One feature that was new to me was the Makerspace. It's available by appointment for library card holders, and you'll need to bring your own design or project idea. An instructor is there to guide you through the process, which makes it less intimidating for anyone interested in learning something new. It lives next to a café located on the lower level, which is convenient if you plan on spending a few hours studying or working. Overall, this is an amazing library with great amenities, plenty of space, and resources that go beyond books. This is somewhere I recommend everyone checks out when they're in the area - pun intended.

I can tell you that this for sure beats the coffee shop I was at earlier that became a little loud for my liking. I should have just came straight here. That may not always be the case depending on the number of kids in-house. Oh yeah, and this is one of the LB libraries opened on Mondays and they close at 7pm. That works to my advantage as somebody who tends to work past regular office hours.

The first thing I noticed was there is plenty of parking and space set up outside to sit. Sometimes this is better than sitting inside. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and answered all my questions. I got a new library card and a tour of the library. While not a large library it is arranged so there is plenty of space between the bookshelves and there is enough room to study. There are computers available for patron use and also a used bookstore in another section of the building. While not a large library it is a great neighborhood library that has what I needed.

There are only a limited number of tables and seating areas, with very few electrical outlets available, making it less accommodating for digital nomads, remote workers, or students who need to charge their devices. A small number of public computers are available for use. To access the restroom, patrons must check out a key. While I understand the purpose behind this policy, it can feel somewhat inconvenient and invasive. The library also receives very little natural light. Combined with the dark carpeting and plain, colorless walls, the overall aesthetic feels gray, dated, and somewhat lifeless. The ambiance lacks the warmth and inviting atmosphere found in many other neighborhood libraries. During several of my visits, the librarians generally kept to themselves and appeared to perform their duties with a neutral, professional demeanor. It was nice and quiet inside. I was able to get my library card in under 5 minutes. You just need your ID and fill out the paper application when you get there. There's lots of programs available but I'm not to familiar with them. I advise you to check out their website. You can borrow up to 50 items at a time. There is apparently a small garden in the back but I've not had the pleasure of seeing it yet. No designated parking lot -- street parking only -- but a convenient book drop is located at the green curb right in front of the entrance for quick and easy returns.

I had a very quick question to ask her and that only required a yes/no answer - and she told me to wait - and i just quickly asked it for a yes/no and she rolled her eyes so diligently ... this place, especially the library is suppose to be very friendly and welcoming - but as an employee there to CLEARLY ROLL her eyes.... so sad
