A few months ago I took my watch to Leitzel's Jewelry in Lebanon to have it serviced and regulated. Since I got it back it has not worked correctly it's either gaining or losing time every freaking day it doesn't seem to hold the time for 24 hours like it has done before and when I contacted them they were rude to me and when I put up a review on yelp they accused me of trying to ruin their family business. Today I took my watch to Brent Miller in Lancaster they have a sterling reputation. Their watchmaker opened up my watch they said it looks like it never been serviced the inside was dirty and is both gaining and losing time and the gasket which is supposed to be replaced so it remains waterproof was the original gasket that was in the watch and never been replaced. I cannot say enough negative things about Leitzel's Jewelry, they completely screwed me and had me pay a couple of hundred bucks for either shoddy work and lied and didn't do the work. Bought a beautiful engagement and wedding ring set. Sterling silver, costume jewelry and just gorgeous! I've lost weight and no longer wear a 7 so hubby took there to be resized. I have had costume jewelry resized before and paid about $75.00. According to the young lady working there they would have to charge us the price as if the diamonds are real! What the heck does the diamonds have to do with the metal? She said return the set and get a smaller size! If I wanted to do that I wouldn't be in your store! I'm not even sure what size I now wear! And I'm being nice about what I've said. I could've said worse. Would not recommend this place. VERY disappointed since they have good reviews! read more

Had to get my ring resized up 1 size. Went in and the lady we talked to was very nice and welcoming. Ended up costing around $75 and was done in a little under a week (this was no problem at all). A couple months later my ring had split where I'm assuming they added material, called and brought it in, and had my ring back in hand the next day with no charge. All of the staff are very friendly, and I can only say good things about this business! read more

We went to Leitzel's Hershey, PA location to obtain a quote on getting my engagement ring repaired. We had been told by a chain jewelry store that the ring had several stones loose and would cost over $500 to repair. This was after them originally telling me in the store that Possibly had a post loose and it would be about $47 then shipping it off and keeping it over 2 weeks. We were very skeptical so went to Leitzel's which is a local establishment with experts on premises. They examined and cleaned the ring there at no charge and told me there were no issues with my diamonds or setting. Thank you all so much! read more

I have been a customer for years during multiple moves being a military family , from Pa , to Va and now to California .. This is the only place I will ever service or bring my jewelry .. Its hard to know who to trust with something so important to me .. I never question anything at Leitzel's .. I had recently dropped my wedding rings off at the Myertown location during a recent visit to Pa .. My rings needed resizing , cleaning , inspection services .. As always the experience has been flawless from across the country .. I received my rings today in California in multiple boxes inside each other to be discrete and then inside a large soft envelope , then in a smaller bubble wrap inside that were my beautiful rings .. I worked with Allison to re-do my wedding ring set. She assisted me with re-designing my original round diamond center stone to create a custom oval set that was beyond my expectations! I was also able to upgrade to platinum and create a custom scroll detail on my engagement ring while staying within my budget. The end result is absolutely stunning! read more

We went to several jewelry stores to find a wedding band. Leitzel's was by far the most professional and seemed to really care when other stores did not. They worked hard to find just what we wanted since the samples in the store weren't quite it. They emailed and texted only when updates were needed and usually got back to us within minutes or at least the same day. My wedding band came in when the store was closed to the public due to the coronavirus outbreak, but they still let me know as soon as it arrived and arranged a curbside pick-up for us. After a recent fire I took my fine jewelry to Leitzel's jewelry store to be cleaned and repaired. They did an awesome job my jewelry looks brand new when I got it back . I visited Leitzel's Jewelry looking for a new design for my engagement ring right as COVID rules were becoming established. My initial visit didn't quite get me what I was hoping for but then Allison reached out to me and scheduled an appointment to discuss my ring remount. Allison took the time to truly understand what I was looking for in a new setting and we looked at several designs and I found the prefect new setting. I have been going here since I moved here in 1992. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have bought several pieces of jewelery for my daughter here as well as for myself. I had an engagement ring that I loved except for the wedding band wrap around and the fact it was yellow gold. Rhodium plating was discussed but the more you wear it the more often it has to be re-dipped. They custom designed a ring exactly like the one I had but lowered the diamond and added the begets from the wedding portion along the side of the engagement ring. It is more beautiful now than when I bought it and am thrilled with it. I also had an old wedding band that had beautiful diamonds in it but the setting was extremely high and caught on everything. They took the diamonds out of that ring and and placed them in a channel setting band. I LOVE it. I have a nickel allergy and all my diamond stud earring were made by them with platinum posts. I love this place. And FYI.....their white gold STAYS WHITE!!!! Just like your grandma's did. They don't use cheap, overseas gold that isn't properly mixed with different alloys that have a yellow look to them. They have a local family they get all their gold from. Guaranteed. read more
