I have been trying for (literally) years to get my prescription correct. Every refill is messed up. I continually have to call and call again the office to fix this. I've talked to the office manager, been assured things will get fixed. That specific prescription is fixed, but the next time around I am back in the circus. I hate to leave the doctor due to operational issues... but OMG!!! Again, good doctor, but miserable experience. You pick.

About a year later, she began experiencing serious health issues. It turned out she had developed a liver abscess caused by a gallstone that had been left behind during the original surgery. This was not a minor oversight--it led to repeated procedures just to drain the infection, causing her significant pain, stress, and decline in quality of life. What's even more frustrating is that this surgeon did not offer a real solution beyond continued draining. It wasn't until we sought a second opinion that another doctor identified the root cause and performed the necessary surgery to remove the retained stone. This situation could have been avoided with more thorough care and follow-up. Patients and families deserve transparency, accountability, and proactive treatment--not prolonged suffering due to an overlooked issue. I would strongly caution others to seek a second opinion if something doesn't feel right.

This office said they had not received the approval yet, and that I needed to contact my referring doctor to send the documents. 12:02 PM Called my referring doctor's office and go the records of the approvals resent right away. 12:05-1:05 Lunch 1:06 PM Called This office. Call went to voicemail, even though it was during the available office hours on the recorded voice greeting. I left a detailed voice message explaining I have written the original appointment on my calendar, now that the approvals were sent. Asked for a callback for confirmation. No return call was made to me that day. 10-20-2021 3:28 PM Following up, expecting the original appointment had been booked as requested. The office desk person admitted that they have not listened to my voicemail even now, the original appointment offered was booked, and the next appointment is not until November. The bright side of the silver lining: The office staff is kind and respectful when speaking with them directly. My name was placed on a cancellation list of unknown length, and will be called if someone cancels their appointment, and I am next on the list. Then covid-19 hit and we figured his surgery would be cancelled. This morning I had him call the office to confirm his appointment time and very thankful I did because his office is CLOSED! No one bothered to call and cancel/reschedule his appointment or tell him that his surgery would not be taking place. This is incredibly so unprofessional I'm just amazed and angered. Thankfully his back has stabilized and he's not in as much pain as he was when he first saw him - but to just leave a patient hanging on a limb is horrible. I'm beyond disappointed and will be searching for a more professional surgeon.
