Spent 3 nights, 3 day stay. Amazing experience. Pool was clean, and even let us stay a lil over closure time. Bathrooms and showers were clean. They have laundry rooms and upgraded their check in area with lots of good hygiene products and food supplies if needed. Comes with WiFi & a lounge area as well. Staff are friendly and we even made some friends with the other campers! Sequoia National Park is just a 20 min drive as well.

We stayed at Lemon Cove RV Village to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP's during our kids' spring break. Lemon Cove is not the closest RV park to the Sequoia NP entrance, but definitely has the most amenities for families. They have FHU RV and tent areas. The sites are gravel and some leveling will be necessary. The WiFi is pretty good and the camp store has some necessities but no beer or liquor. There is a nice game room next to the front office with a pool table, fooze ball table, board games, arcade games and movies on a big screen. The restrooms, showers and laundry area look nice and well maintained. The grounds are kept nice. The traffic noise from the roadway can be heard but isn't too bothersome. They have disc golf, a volleyball court and horseshoe pit, plus a pool (not heated). The employees are friendly and very helpful. Theres a grocery store just 10 minutes up the road at Three Rivers. There's 2 local gas stations within 5 minutes that I'd recommend, but if you choose to fill up in Three Rivers, it'll be about a dollar more per gallon. Both of the local stations have diesel. Lemon Cove Village was a great home base while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP's and I'd recommend it to others.

Great place to camp with Full Hook Ups and down the road from Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. Great for families with kids and alot of open space. They have a nice little Clubhouse plus a pool for them warm days. We had a blast staying there. I look forward to camping there again.

This RV park/campground was a real gem to find on our way out of Sequoia National Park. We stayed in our sprinter van in one of their water-only RV sites but they also have tent sites and RV sites with water and electric. The after-hours self check-in was simple. There is a dog park and also a dog-washing station and a pool. There are laundry and shower facilities that are available 24 hours. The whole site is impressively maintained, with clean and tidy facilities throughout. If you happen to be stuck here in the rain, they have a nice little lounge with Keurig coffee, a big flat screen TV with tons of DVD movies, foosball, and a pool table. Staff is very friendly.

Teresa was amazing from my first call to reserve a group tent site. She spent time answering my questions and making suggestions for our group. When we checked in she made all of us smile with her lovely personality! The group site was great! Tons of shade for tents, a large covered area with two tables and a bbq, running drinkable water, an outlet to charge cell phones and a couple of benches. It was super clean. Bathroom and showers were clean, hot water and pressure were so good. It got a little steamy during the evening but someone just propped the door open and that helped. Pool was clean and there were plenty of lounges with umbrellas if needed. Trash is emptied regularly/daily if needed. We are definitely going back for another glamping trip soon! Also, Sequoia Shuttle stops at the front for an easy ride into the park!

We were here for about a year and a half while working out of town. Beautiful and well maintained. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Loved the dog park. We have to move on to our next project and we will miss the people we met here. Thank you guys for taking such good care of us!

    cookie loves the dog park!

However, Horse Creek was a good introduction to the camping world. At $20 a night, you get your own campsite that can fit up to 8-10 people. We were able to fit about 4 tents. The ground was flat enough to set up camp, and the grounds to eat and chill were spacious enough. As for the bathrooms, the showers are fairly clean and the toilets aren't too shabby either. It seemed like they were cleaned on a daily basis. As for entertainment, the campsite is right near the lake so every morning I woke up to the beautiful sight of nature - the sunset was pretty as well. The lake wasn't too dirty, although I would recommend water shoes. Also, the main office has friendly staff to answer any questions. Ultimately, if you want a campground that's at the bottom of the mountain (it's only 10-12 miles away from the entrance of the Sequoia National Park) that's clean and family-friendly, this place is extremely solid. I highly recommend it.

The sites are RIGHT on the shore of the lake. In fact, the site we reserved was UNDER WATER when we arrived in early May. They're not joking when they say the whole campground is closed in the summer months due to flooding. Thankfully they only allow half the sites to be reserved and they moved us to an open spot, right at the front. It also gave us an easy spot to fish from the shore in the mornings and evenings. I'm glad we chose this campground when finding a weekend getaway. I heard it gets crowded inside the main campgrounds in Sequoia Park. Sites are well spaced out. Each spot had either a canopy or a tree for shade. Of course theres a fire pit too. The bathrooms were sufficient. 1 shower inside, with hot water. The local general store is within a 5 minute drive to get firewood and supplies and Kaweah Marina is close by too to rent a patio boat to enjoy the day on the lake. They will close the gate entrance at 9pm sharp. But you can park in the dirt lot or next to the gate over night. The exit is open all night, but its got those 1 way spike strips... exit only.

But it was stocked with toilet paper. Other than that the campgrounds was great. I love the fact the market is reasonably priced. They have a Cafe, showers, cleaner restrooms, and a laundry facility. The campsite was beautiful. Not too many bugs. Everywhere you looked it was beautiful. There's lots of campsites nearby but not too close. Our campsite was 202, right behind the large rock and pretty close to the river. It was nice hearing the rush of water throughout the day. The bathroom was close enough except for during the the night. Knowing that bears are in the area made it really scary going in the middle of the night. Wear a headlamp, it's much better than a flashlight. The shuttle will come inside the campgrounds and pick you up near the restrooms in the main parking lot. There are a few trails for hiking (which we didn't have time to do). I do recommend if traveling with another family to work out the food situation because there's only one bear box per site. One large cooler can fir or two smaller ones. One large and one small cooler will not fit in the box. ALL food, snack, even perfume, & body spry should be put into the bear box.

The creek that flows through the campground is ice-cold, and makes for a beautiful hike (My husband even caught a small trout)! The bathrooms were kept relatively clean for pit toilets, and clean water is provided from a spigot (to rinse dirty dishes, or kids!). There is a super convenient little general store in Camp Nelson, which is the closest town. Just a beautiful place, with Sequoias sprinkled throughout! You will wake up every morning, glad you're there. The camp host (I believe his name is Dan), was super chill and very helpful when we asked about local sights, and hikes. The only con right now is the fire restriction in effect for the whole area, so that means NO campfires (I got a Campfire Permit beforehand, which is required, but was not inspected). It's a very shady campground during the day, and it gets pretty chilly at night, not to mention very dark. Just make sure you have a propane stove/grill/firepit, and some lanterns/headlamps/flashlights you'll be good to go! *Trail of 100 Giants is a must see, though it's a 22 mile winding drive from the campground*
