This used to be one of our favorite places to camp. We've had two bad experiences here in the last year. The neighboring campers have had loud parties well past the quiet hour curfew. This last time, it was several days in a row. We will not be returning. read more

Great location for anything outdoors i loved how close to everything it was. It was everything we expected

River access and we stayed in site 13 which was the farthest but it seems that everyone states and likes that site. It's the corner one and we had a gentleman come fish in the corner and a resident pass by with his dog somewhat close but not in our site. You can rent a fire pit for $10 and they bring you wood with it as well so not a bad trade. We paid $50 for a riverfront corner spot. The bathrooms were ok but there were no toilet seat covers :( The grounds man was super helpful and said the water for the showers would be hot for as long as you needed it to be hot. We stayed overnight and didn't have a need for the showers. The roadway to get to the sites was pretty muddy so wouldn't recommend a car going through here. They give you a code to go in and out of the park. It's not a gate but an arm like those you pay at public parks. They have a weird dog policy. No pit bulls, Dobermans, chows and there was one more probably Rottweilers but can't remember. Said it was insurance related. So I would call ahead if you have a big dog needing to stay. read more

Was looking to stay at Lindys while in California work and spent some time there before making a decision. The campground is far from a resort, and they are priced like a motorcoach resort in Naples Florida. The sites are grass and dirt, shade trees are hit and miss, roads are a bark material that ends up everywhere. Bathrooms were clean but not spotless, word is the showers have unlimited hot water. Nice beach area with a pier. There are some residents, most all their sites are clean and set up very nicely, one on the corner was perfect, another had a neat flagpole even light up a night, and I really liked the one that had a dog fence area, but there are a few run down looking. All the residents were extremely nice, and always smiled and waved. The store on site has COLD BEER, drinks, and snacks. They charge for utilities on top of the ridiculous rates. An older couple who was walking the campground mentioned that the charging for utilities is done in a very shady way and was against code. Staff and policies were like a soap opera, noticed a lot of drama and was warned not to complain about any issues because management is childish. Overall, the park is OK it's just not a resort. I didn't want to deal with the shady and drama for the price. read more

Stayed here for just one night while traveling through Fresno and this is a very well kept, clean and beautiful campground. Plenty of grass, bathrooms and showers clean with good water pressure. A park and sandy beach river access! When we went the water was low so didn't support boating, but when the water is high there is a boat launch here too. The spaces are very open and there aren't a lot of trees (so good that you don't accidentally put a tree through your rig, but not great if you're looking for shade) Great customer service, since we got in late after hours, they called us before they closed and gave us instructions. Very nice spot. I come here once a year with family and friends and we love the atmosphere. We had one issue with Charlie and he came to our site about a tree. Instead of letting me talk and explain he was very aggressive and very very rude. If he's still there next time we go my family and friends will no longer keep going when we just relax and enjoy our time. Dave the security and Tim were very nice and handle our situation with Charlie wonderfully. read more

Lindy's Landing Campground - S2 camp site - RV Parks Near Me - Reedley, California

Loud neighbors with loud music. Could not sleep as the rap music was blasting all night, and again at 7am. There was no after hour call center /security to call. Then, when we complained they moved our site a few spots down and proceeded to tell the loud neighbors that we complained about their music, creating some very intense moments. We ended up leaving a night early and the manager didn't even bother to give us our money back. We ended up going to Kings River RV resort and it was so much better! read more

Definitely one of top campgrounds. Plenty of trees and green grass. Very clean park and facilities. Located along the Kings River, nice sandy beaches and boat launch. The river level varies, so launching could be an issue at times. The staff is more than helpful. The park has a small convenience store which also serves as the office. It is very quite and peaceful here. We love it here. read more

We found this park off season so had lots of space to enjoy parking our RV on real grass with no dirt to drag inside! Located on the banks of theKings river, the park has been around for quite a while. Found everything to be well maintained with clean showers and restrooms. The park is tricky to find unless one is using a GPS but easy access even with big rigs. Located about 5 miles off SR99, the park is quiet. No WiFi except yours, lots of air TV channels to choose from. A very nice place to stay for a day or for a month. read more

I can't say enough good things about this campground. We were evacuated from our home during the creek fire, they accommodated us when we had to keep adding time to our stay. They were so understanding and thoughtful. The sites are super clean and manicured, bathrooms so clean and well maintained. The river is refreshing and beaches clean. Just stayed here for one night but it was very nice! Clean restrooms, safe area, quiet, reasonable and very helpful people! They called to check in with us to see where we're at and if we needed any after hours instruction for checking it which I thought was thoughtful and relieved the stress. This RV RESORT is a hidden gem!! The location seems hidden but is so accessible. When you enter it is beautiful. The grass is perfectly manicured. The rose trees stunning. Check in is so easy. Cute little well stocked store. The people are so nice and helpful. We were in space L3 down by the rive. The spaces are HUGE. Grassy with trash cans close to restrooms. Evenings are quite and cool. We did not want to leave and are looking forward to returning. Again WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE LANDSCAPE!!BEAUTIFUL!! read more

Lindy's Landing is a family-friendly excellent RV campground! We have been going there with our RVs for the last 48 years and all our family members for floating and boating during the summer months. The campground is groomed very well and the staff keeps the landscape in ideal condition. We also want to recognize Dallas, in the office, and how much we appreciate her working with us with our yearly group with reservations and making our arrival and departure very easy. Dallas has great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward our group leader with all the reservations in a timely manner. The complete staff is excellent and assists you with any questions you may have to make your stay most pleasant. The owner really upgraded the complete campground a couple of years ago with new concrete on the boat launch area/road and again really making sure the restrooms are clean daily along with a newly renovated store! They have a volleyball sand court and a basketball court. We are really looking forward to our 50th year with our family. The kids enjoy the lagoon for swimming and also floating down the river! They always want to go back to Lindy's Landing On The Kings River for our annual vacation! Again, thanks to Dallas and the other associate, Rihanna, for excellent communications regarding our reservations and throughout our stay! read more

This is our second time here and like last time it's a great place. We have a 30 foot trailer and they offer pull thru and back in spots. What we really like is that it's not a cement parking lot. There are large trees that provide great shade. The spots are all grass but relatively level. This is now are go to spot. We love it here. read more

Just got home from our first weekend camping here. We had one of the lagoon RV spaces and it was perfect. My kids could swim whenever they wanted. Water in the lagoon is so calm (river was swift). We had lots of floats and tubes. We never left the campground. I could definitely see staying longer than a weekend and taking day trips to kings canyon or sequoia. The tent camping area was nice and grassy and there is lots of shade. People parked their boats and jet skis right in front of their campsites. Definitely will be back! read more

This place was great! Very clean. We did a scavenger hunt, none of us could find candy wrappers!!! The security guard was very friendly, patrolling with a smile and a wave. Loved the easy access to the water, even though fishing was allowed, still found very little litter, and no old rusty hooks for bare feet to find. The sites are grass but somewhat level. The trees are nice, we had wonderful weather but can see how they'd provide much needed shade in the summer. read more

First and foremost let me say that the campground is very well kept and the camping spots are awesome. The 3 star rating is for a few reasons. First, they are not limiting the number of people per campsite to encourage social distancing. The people next to us were a group of at least 30 people who spent 90% of the day smoking weed and being loud. Our camping trip was cut short. We couldn't have our kids exposed to that environment, especially our baby. Second, no one was wearing a mask while off of their campsites. Although the restrooms were okay, there were no signs encouraging social distancing or encouraging people to wash their hands. We were looking forward to going camping since we thought it would be a safe getaway. We are living in a different time and it's disappointing to see such a nice place not take precautionary measures to keep their visitors safe. We had to check out a whole day early, and we did mention our issues when we checked out. The person checking us out did offer to check if there was another spot available, but by then we were already tired and frustrated from not sleeping at night. I understand it's a privately owned campsite and they have to make their money. I just wish it felt safer. Hopefully once things are a little better we will get to visit again and we have a better experience. ‍ read more

I love this place. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy peace along the Kings river. Forewarned, the water is very cold but a lively refresher on a hot summer day. I've never been here before. It was two weeks ago that we had a family reunion for three days here at Lindy's Landing.My relatives who live in the proximal areas have been coming here for years. The campground was very clean(trash cans are emptied daily), along with added campground security.The employees at the General store were very helpful with check in and all the questions I had. The pricing of the items in general store were not bad either. The best thing about the campground: clean restrooms along showers with cold &hot water. We hadn't been out to Lindy's Landing in several years. We are local and in the past had known the campground to be "rough". We heard the owner had made improvements so we drove out on Saturday and we were greeted by the friendly staff who allowed us to drive through for a few minutes to see the improvements that the new owner has been making. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful landscape, the pathways with gravel that keeps the dust down, the clean and spacious camp sites, as well as the clean bathroom & laundry facilities. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly & patient with all of our questions. The price was incredibly reasonable for us and our teens so we booked a site for the next day so we could beat the valley heat. When we got to our site on Sunday the previous tenants had left bottle caps and trash all over. We were greeted by a gentleman (I can't recall his name) who works for the campground who does the maintenance. He worked quickly to clean up the bottle caps and washed the picnic table down for us. It is obvious that not only the new owner but the employees take pride in this beautiful campground. We hung out in the water, bbq'ed and enjoy staying cool. Our teenagers had a blast & said they can't wait to come back. We felt like we had taken a trip and we were only a few minutes away from home. It was such a great time that we are already planning our next trip out with a little bit bigger group so we can enjoy the last few days of summer vacation in August. read more

My family and I found this place by accident. We were planning on camping in sequoias, still too early all campgrounds closed. On way home, we stopped by to check out. Decided to stay for night with kids. Great place, kid friendly. Staff was very supportive and helpful. Super clean place. Liked it so much, we are coming back in 3 weeks. I called to see if they had any spots available for month to month rental I was told they did. So I drove there to fill out an application. So one week went by and I called to see what was going on. I was told the owner still hasnt reviewed the application so I call a few days later. Was told he finally just picked them up. I explained that currently I was in a hotel paying 2300 a month. So they said they would talk to the owner and let them know the situation and that they would call me back here I am sitting around as more than two weeks have gone by and still no call from anyone at the facility. Needless to say I did call multiple times but to get the run around. I decided to check other places and I have a spot reserved at another location just like that. I will say the facility did swan real clean and nice but if you plan on staying there you better reserve a spot months in advance cause even if they have a spot available they still won't call you. I had an easier time purchasing my house. Thanks for nothing. read more
