This is the closest H-Mart to me and the first time I went here during my college years I kept thinking this was my Diamond Bar HS AU life if my friends and I have gone here. There's plenty of parking since it's a very big plaza, but it can get busy since there's lots of businesses here. If that's the case, you may have to park at the periphery. There's usually a security at the front and they are NOT happy when they catch you taking pictures, so keep that in mind. There's a BoA ATM right at the front and there's some other businesses in this H Mart too. I LOVE DELI MANJOO and their little sweet corn sponge cake and taiyaki. I have never seen this at other H Mart locations so that makes this unique. There's also Tous les Jours, luxury K beauty storefront, Kimbap shop, savory foods, and some of these businesses keep swapping out and changing. RIP Cheesetella. Good selection of produce and meats. Love the deli area with lots of kimchi and banchan that you can get to go. Seafood section is really fresh and you can get sashimi there as well. I'm a fan of the snacks area and instant noodles and on the weekends they have samples sometimes. Prices can vary, usually not too bad, but with so many Chinese markets that now offer a lot of the same instant noodles (my main thing to purchase), it ight be best to compare and shop around. read more

I love shopping here every time I get off work, sometimes. I mainly go for the ready-to-go meals. I love the quality of fish the server, but they could do a bit better with sushi rice, as it's a bit hard, but not to where I can't eat it, that's the only thing I would complain about. I also love the quality of the fruit and the items I can get here that I can nowhere else. The items are all cheap, depending on what you get, but pricier if you're getting seafood or meat. This is a full service H Mart with a food court, fresh seafood, butcher shop, produce, and groceries. The staff is great and always willing to answer questions and customer service is good. Prices are good and especially when you consider the wide assortment of Asian foods. read more

I was passing through Diamond Bar and happened to see Super H Mart. I did not know there was a Super version of H Mart so I had to stop by and check it out. Super H Mart is within the H-Mart Plaza. This plaza is huge. It has many different shops, restaurants, banks, and other specialty businesses. Tons of parking. Great place to hang out for the morning, afternoon, and evening. Besides visiting the Super H Mart which was fantastic and an eye opener in a good way LOL (I'll share my experience under Super H Mart page), I didn't get a chance to walk around the whole plaza because it was getting late, but I did drive through it on my way out. All your one shop stop for your necessities. A mini food court here w so many varieties of Korean food eatery. Awoolim, Castellla, Tous Le Jours to name a few. Bakery Located right inside Super H Mart when you enter the market. They offer different varieties of Breads, pastries, cakes, desserts & even popsicle Love Tous Les Jours has the best Breads and their cake is also yummy. A well known Korean bakery. Their cakes are so cute along w yummy and not overly sweet at all.. So many varieties of cakes, pastries & bread. Their breads are always so yummy & fresh. My fav is the cream edition breads. I like the selection here but it is kinda pricy compared to other Korean store prices like Hannam market or Greenland. The service there is also really bad, there was this lady (like college age) she was very rude, normally I don't care if they don't say anything but she was doing a bag after I bagged one myself and she started throwing our stuff in the bag, our fruits got squished and a lot of snacks and such were broken. I was pretty upset because one she doesn't have common sense to stack heavy things at the bottom of the bag and not only that, she doesn't have the common courtesy to not throw our things. I hope she genuinely gets fired someone like that should not be working customer service put her in janitor work if she's gonna be all aggressive. Like I get your life sucks but don't take it out on my merchandise. You're grown enough to not throw a temper tantrum, I don't care if you don't talk to me just don't throw my stuff. read more

I recently moved which meant I needed to find a new HMart. My usual go to store is in Irvine or Buena Park when I am in the area. I was surprised and happy to see that this was a "Super" HMart. The store was huge and had a lot of variety. They even had a food court area that I want to check out next time. I got a pack of champagne mangoes and peaches for a great price. Depending what time you go it can get busy, but the cashier I had was quick and efficient in bagging all of my items. Overall, a great Hmart that is clean and offers variety. read more

You will find delicious foods at reasonable prices. So shop this market for Korean foods and they do have fruits and snacks so you will find them neatly stacked on the shelf pretty easily. This is my go to place for my grocery shopping I like this location because it's super clean and efficient. They have most of what I need here plus the food court has lots of options. Service is mediocre as I understand they probably deal with a lot of different types of people working here. So I'm usually just need them to get what I need done at the customer service counter which is when it's time to redeem my certificate when I reach x amount of points on my Hmart membership card Spend $1,000 you get $10 I feel it is so worth it and with the going prices now it's easy to hit that They have delicious sweet fruits as well! I had to download yelp just to leave this review. recently went to this hmart just to pick up fruits. I paid and used my own reuseable bag. then we ate at the foodcourt, was really nice and the food was good however when my family and I were leaving we were stopped by the security guard who demanded-not asked to see the reciept. after I showed the reciept and the date of that day, I showed him that the items matched what was on the reciept as well as the paid stickers on them. despite that he said "Are you guys stealing or what" he told us to go back into the store by the entrance where he then proceeded to rip open the bags and inspect them all one by one again and insisting some items (even though it had a paid sticker) wasn't on the reciept. I then had to point out the rainbow berries assortment, etc. were actually in it, maybe he couldn't see because he was wearing sunglasses indoors. People walked by and gawked while the security guard was yelling 'these aren't on the reciept" He didn't apologize, just got a single use plastic bag and rebagged some of the fruits I purchased. I say some because he didn't put my star fruit there and I only realized when I got home that it wasn't there because I was so distraught and upset leaving the store all I could say to that security guard was "That was wrong of you" This was such a dehumanizing experience, I haven't gone back to an hmart since and never will be again. I work 40+ hours a week just to afford fruits as a treat and the way that 'security' guard handled it was so tactless, he had one airpod in the entire interaction, hire better people. I enjoy going to this local Korean market called H-Mart, I can usually find a lot of items that many other American supermarkets don't sell. If you sign up for their free membership it tracks how much money you spend and also the points you will receive. Application is at the guest service area and they will promptly give you a regular size card with two key ring cards. Which comes as a total of three so a family can be able to share it. The supermarket is very organized and employees here are super helpful. Just ask them where an item is and they will point you in the right direction. I really enjoy the variety of kimchi and banchan which are small little sides like appetizers. They also have marinated beef, chicken and pork that you can put on a bbq and have a nice little party for. If you are looking for some Asian instant noodles this place has a ton of different ones for sure! From spicy, sweet and to interesting flavors. Give them a try. read more

I recently came here to buy kbbq sides. It's the only place I know of so far that has such a wide selection. I've tried the stir fried vermicelli, potato salad, and fish cakes. It's not amazing. but it's there... it definitely lacks in quality; but until I find another spot that has these same sides, I will continue coming here. read more

Usually love coming to H Mart when we have time to make the drive since we live far out and this is the closest location. We came today to get some of their sashimi selection and we're usually offered ice in a bag to keep the fish cool for the long drive home but today they didn't offer us any ice and the worker gave a nasty attitude and brushed us off. We saw some ice and tried to fill a bag to keep the fish cool and the same worker rushed over and gave us more attitude again and said we can't have any for keeping the fish cool and took it away rudely. It's been so hot lately and we had to drive in traffic back worried about the fish. Horrible customer service from this person. We didn't get to catch a name. My wife loves buying veggies here and her fish. That's what we did and of course we tried not to stay to long it there because of the whole COVID-19. I saw a sale for Asian pear and was excited, but at the check out line they told us it was only if you purchase a total of $50 or more. People don't get the Korean pears right now they jack the price up from $14.99 to $22.99! read more

Lines are always long here and it's really confusing for everyone (especially the elderly) to figure out which line goes where. The older people consistently are cutting in line and are often confused when someone else tells them to get in line. Compared to an American grocery store like Ralph's or Albertsons, the wait to check out is easily 3-4 times longer = regardless of the time of day and the day of the week. read more

This one Korean cashier seems to be racist towards me because she was slamming everything I bought and does not speak or make eye contact. I know it's discrimination because Koreans don't hide the fact that they don't like Chinese because of history. However, it is 2021 and we're in America and we need to respect everyone else. Hmart is one of my favorite groceries store for fresh produce at fair prices and this one is no exception! This Hmart is located in a plaza with lots of other restaurants so it's easy to grab a meal before/after you grocery shop! This Hmart also has a food court inside so also an option if you're a hungry shopper like me! This Hmart feels bigger than the one in Arcadia which is also a big plus for me. They have lots of stuff on sale every week and I tend to find that the produce is much cleaner and fresher at Hmart compared to some other grocery stores. The prices tend to be similar or cheaper so that's also a plus! The meat selection is pretty good and the seafood was looking fresh last time I was at the store. One of my other favorite things about Hmart is the really unique fruit selection! They always have lots of fun fruits you won't find in other grocery stores. If you get lucky, you might also stumble upon samples! Pro tip this normally happens on Saturday and Sunday afternoons! read more

My wife and I, regularly do our grocery shopping at this H-Mart location in Diamond Bar. Throughout the years we've experienced less than friendly customer service. However, my experience today was beyond anything I've experienced anywhere! I simply did my grocery shopping, and while at the checkout register I simply asked for a Calendar. Typically, at checkout, they hand out calendars to their customers. As simple as this may sound the cashier upon me inquired if I could have a calendar demanded she sees my "H-Mart membership", I told her that my wife has the membership, and we're regular customers! She instantly started raising her voice in front of all other customers in a scolding manner she repeated that she needs to see my membership otherwise I have to leave. Beyond shocked, astonished, and utterly outraged, I demanded to see the manager, not for the pathetic calendar anymore but to complain about this horrible customer service I received! To my amazement, and to add to my shock. This person who unleashed all the worst customer service I've ever received upon asking for a manager introduces herself as the "customer service manager". Her name is GRACE. She simply told me there's no one else to talk to or complain to, so simply carry your pride, and leave defeated! I tried reaching out to the corporate office to no avail! There's no one to talk to or address this horrible experience. They simply don't care! I am so distressed, angry, and disappointed to say the least! The store is generally cleaner than other Korean marts and more organized. They tend to have more organic products as well. However, they get a star knocked because hmart is known throughout the Korean community for being way more overpriced than any other Korean mart. So why do I still frequent this hmart? Here are my reasons: this is the only Korean mart in northern OC that Sells the rice I like. It is an organic haga mai rice. I have not seen it anywhere else so if I need rice I have to come here. Their fish department is known to be of best quality of the Korean markets. So I come here for mackerel. Their pork feet in the side dish section is better than other markets. It also happens to be the closest market to me too. The Buena Park ones are more out of the way. Don't buy snacks or ice cream or things like that here- even when on sale they are way overpriced for the same exact products at other marts. So there are pros and cons to every market which is why many people find themselves rotating through markets instead of loyally only going to one Korean market. H mart is famous of its selections of fruits and vegetables. And various choices of the food. Food court is convenience. The only one thing preventing me visiting here is less management of cashier and horrible design of the waiting line for cashier. The line for cashier is confusing. You can not tell the line is for which cashier and people walking over can easily skipping line. The first time visit, I was waiting for long time on one of the line. There is another line from another side of the cashier. When it's my turn. There was old man form other line suddenly jumped saying I was skipping the line. I'm not blaming on him even though he is rude grumpy man. The bad design of waiting area course a lot of confusion of conflicts. If you ever been to the h Mart located at Arcadia. You will understand what I mean by management and designing of waiting area. The freshness of fruits and vegetables are different level. Even h mart diamond bar has a lot selections.
