This is a response to my review on vagaro. Pictures attached. Response being i have been shown flexibility multiple times and not charged a fee at all. I've called to rescheduled once because i was on my period and not all providers are comfortable with waxing in that situation. After being informed that the provider is comfortable with that, the following time I had a period overlapped with a wax i was there. So i Dont think accommodated once falls under multiple. And i too have shown flexibility when asked to come in earlier to get the provider home earlier as well. First time I've been to Lemon Drop was when they were downtown in a tiny location. I went to get a facial from one of my friends. It was nice, but the place was really tiny. I haven't been back, except recently I decided to check it out again now that they are located in a larger location, and with a new owner. I was looking forward because I really needed a massage, and the Yelp reviews looked promising. I was disappointed. Now keep in mind I worked at a high end day spa in Los Angeles for years as a concierge/manager. My boss would pay me to visit day spas all over L.A. and Orange County. So my standards might be higher than most who posted on yelp. Also keep in mind I only had a massage. You're wondering why the 2 stars. Well to me it starts with how customer service starts talking on the phone. Whoever answered the phone that morning wasn't as personable as I'm used to someone working in the service industry, but that wouldn't automatically give them a two star. I'm also not complaining about the massage therapist, she's actually very knowledgeable, and helped where it was needed. So I'm thinking the problem might just be with management. What's the problem you wonder? To me it's what this "day spa" looked like when I first walked in. It wasn't inviting, looked pretty cluttered, the check in desk looked unkept, and the person who greeted me was the massage therapist. No receptionist, spa coordinator, manager. A great spa begins the moment you walk in. Again, that wouldn't make me give a two star. What grossed me out was when I took off my clothes, and shoes, I felt dirty floors, so I looked around and the treatment room isn't as cleaned as I'm used to. And no I'm not OCD, I just want a clean treatment room. The whole time I was feeling grossed out unable to relax. When I told the therapist what I'm allergic to, she didn't have anything I can really use. The management should've provided the proper products for their therapist. If their therapist are just renting rooms, then let their tenants informed on what they need to do to keep they day spa running smoothly, and professionally. Although the therapist helped out where my pain was, I didn't like how her breath smelled like coffee. I would expect at least mints to help the client have a relaxing experience. I expect that if I pay the high price for a massage, I would have a better experience than the 25.00 hour Chinese reflexology Massage I get once a week. Prior to this massage, I had a massage the week before on a cruise ship. I paid double the price, yes I had a much better experience, but mostly the place was clean, and spotless. The floors were especially clean. So I was hoping this would've been a better experience, and I really love helping out women in business, but it was not a good experience, and I will not return. I'll just drive to Tacoma or Lynnwood for the same price for an all day experience and massage at Olympus Spa, or when I fly down to SoCal and experience a true day spa at DuBunne Day Spa, or at Glen Ivy. read more

This is my go to, and these are my GIRLSSS. I first started coming here about a year ago, when I was looking for a place close to my previous job to wax my brows (they were trash). I saw Aja first, and she is great, and she trained Jamie who is now doing my brows. I love the way they do brows, and Jamie is so easy to talk to. I love that you can book your appointments online, and in advance. The location is easy to find, it is in the plaza with Safeway, and there is parking in front, and angled parking right behind that. (And thanks to the "Fit and Firm" mask, minus a few pesky wrinkles!) And if you're on the fence about booking the shorter vs longer facial - go for the 90 minute option. You won't regret it! The relaxation massage was so relaxing I almost fell asleep! In addition to giving a fabulous massage, Sarah gave me some excellent suggestions for reducing tension in my lower back/hips and even explained how and why certain muscles "lock up". Called on a Friday to get a last minute appointment since my normal place screwed up my appointment two times in a row (ugh) and they were able to fit me in for the next day! Love the new, bigger location! I've gotten two massages from Laura now and she's been great both times. The first time I tried the Heavenly Hydration massage, and it was just that. At first the pressure was too hard for me but she eased up right away and then continued to make sure the pressure was ok. Today I got the hot stone massage and it was my favorite technique so far! I left feeling replenished and relaxed. She gives you water at the end and has the perfect balance between talking and just letting you relax and enjoy your massage. I had the most wonderful experience. Where to start, first I love the emphasis on policy. It is very clear what to expect with the email confirmations that you receive. There is no mistaking on policy. Second, I love that during my wax, there was no whisper talking, if it was a massage or something I wouldn't mind whispers but I love the straight forward conversation I was able to have. My full Brazilian was about as painful as it always is, but probably the cleanest, smoothest wax I've gotten in years. The oil, warm towel and aloe after was a great way to freshen up. I visited their old location last year for a brow wax & tint (which was great) and when they moved to their new location I made an appointment for a facial with Valerie. It was wonderful to have ample free parking and not have to circle the block and hope for a spot to open. Once inside, it was a peaceful environment and I didn't have to wait at all for my appointment. I went into a room with Valerie and we talked about my skin and my current skincare routine and she let me know what she was going to do. She gave me a few minutes to remove jewelry and cover with a wrap before coming back into the room and starting the facial. With the exception of the extractions (which suck no matter who is doing them), it was a wonderfully relaxing experience. I almost dozed off a couple of times. Six hours later, my skin still feels and looks amazing! I'll definitely be going back to see Valerie for another facial. read more
