1-Star Review - Lemon Law Group Partners, PLC I retained Lemon Law Group Partners regarding my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe after it had been serviced 17 times at Tate Dealership in Frederick, MD for the same recurring defect. I provided full documentation and repair history at the outset. I was told I had a strong case and was specifically advised not to drive the vehicle while they evaluated the matter. For nearly four months, there was no meaningful movement or substantive update. Then I received a call from their office stating that I should begin driving the vehicle again and that if it was operating properly, they intended to drop my case. This directly contradicted their earlier instruction and raised serious concerns about how my case was being handled. I requested to speak with an attorney. An attorney did call me, and after I walked him through the entire history again, he assured me the case would not be dropped and told me to wait for his follow-up with additional information. That follow-up never came. Over the next three weeks, I left multiple voicemails requesting an update. I did not receive a return call or even a courtesy email. The lack of communication, inconsistent guidance, and failure to follow through made it impossible to have confidence in their representation. If you are considering this firm, understand that responsiveness and case management may not meet reasonable professional expectations. read more

I have zero confidence that Lemon Law Group services were in my best interests. it took them many many months to do anything for me. They stated that I was offered a financial settlement offer and that would not provide me any details on why Dodge made that offer. I asked to see some form of correspondence from Dodge. I was sent a letter from "dodge" on LLGP letter head to LLGP explaining the offer from a LLGP employee to another one. The offer I received way less then most other offers and then they took nearly 50% of it as their fee's. even though in my state the law still says Dodge pays their fees. the whole thing sucks. I am not whole and there is no recourse as I was the idiot that signed with them. I cant say stay away more. read more

DO NOT HIRE - Completely Unprofessional and Negligent I hired Lemon Law Group Partners over 3 months ago for a clear-cut Hyundai lemon case. From day one, communication was horrible. I had to chase them constantly, leaving multiple voicemails and emails--most of which went unanswered. I never had a clear point of contact. My BBB arbitration was canceled because no attorney showed up or even responded to confirm their participation. They never even told me who my actual attorney was. Despite Hyundai offering a repurchase, this firm couldn't even get that finalized. They sat on the offer and let weeks go by without action. I had to follow up myself just to find out what was happening--only to discover that they hadn't sent required documents to Hyundai until two weeks later, and only after I badgered them. This firm has completely failed in their duty to represent me. They've delayed and jeopardized what should have been a straightforward resolution. I've asked them to close my file and send me all communications, and I will be filing a State Bar complaint for abandonment, negligence, and failure to communicate under professional rules. Absolutely unethical, unresponsive, and unqualified. You are better off handling your lemon case yourself than trusting this group. read more

I was promised ALL moneys, rentals etc. upon my first call to your Head Representative Sue Moratelli upon making my initial decision to agree to having your company represent my case! Sue assured me I'd have NO WORRIES/ NO EXPENSES AS LONG AS I STAYED COMPLETELY OUT IF IT! And I did exactly that. It was an Oral Agreement with myself and this firm. This is where I was scammed again; now by Hyundai & now Lemon Law Group Partners! WHAT A RACKET !! They FURTHER VICTIMIZE VICTIMS!! (But there is a God who protects us thru all evil. Mark my words, what's done in the dark will be dealt with in the Light.) I ended up doing all the leg work on this case. In addition, the first "lawyer" given to me wasn't even an Attorney. He stated "he only signs off on these cases". 2 of my caseworker left the company & my last caseworker was Maria Hannah who claims she's no longer on the case; while my case still sits in Limbo! Maria claims my Caseworker is now DJ Plasic whom I was told was my attorney. I called his firm and was told DJ is NOT an Attorney. In addition the Head Manager of this LLGP Steve Winston is "out of Office indefinitely"! Steve is the one who assured me I only had to pay Lemon Law Group Partners $1000 in fees instead of a ridiculous $3000 fee requested by caseworker Maria Hannah. It took months to finally get a FIRM Agreement with Lemon Law that they would definitely at least get my down payment back from Hyundai plus all my car payments I've been paying from 2023 to present! That was a job in itself (and I don't get paid for My time and stress that was put on me additionally). BOTTOM LINE: How hard is it to get ANYONE associated with Lemon Law Group to make a call, follow up and arrange a time & date to finally settle this?? It's now 7 more months I've been waiting just to get a time and day to get my money back!!! Lemon Law blames Hyundai for not following up??If these were REAL ATTORNEYS / LAWYERS REPRESENTING THEIR CLIENTS, then the job would have been done!! I could've settled this long ago on my own in less time with less expense & no further abuse. This has been continually causing me a further hardship emotionally and monetarily; which is illegal and against all Business Codes. Awful. We signed with Sara Brooks Douglass in February 2024 for a car that has proven toxic mold, failure to shift gears and emergency brake amongst other things. They were very eager for the case and as soon as we signed, it was all downhill. We never got direct answers about the process when we asked. Not only was she impossible to get a hold of, even when calling and talking to office manager, she did zero for our case. When the manufacturer finally responded months after she sent our demand letter, she never wrote back to them and the manufacturer closed our case. We would ask for updates constantly with a few words at best. She had agreed to file for arbitration and then never did after months of me following up with her to actually file. I had sent numerous emails and messaged using their Case Status App for around 10 days. I requested numerous times to talk or have them call me.. I had numerous questions that needed to be answered. No one called me or returned my calls. I never spoke to an Atty or the "Team!" They requested information I had already sent them numerous times to 3 different email addresses. I feel there is no, "Team," just AI Bots. There requests were basic, repetitive and not Human like. It was like being in a AI Chat room. I left numerous messages, texts, emails and Case Status messages. No verbal responce or contact. I Fired them, LemonLawGroup Partners for no communication, incompetence, no direction and loss of Faith. I sent them a Certified Letter, message on the Case Status App as well as several Emails stating they have not lived up to the contract and I would be contacting the Florida Bar Association and Grievances Committee. Farce / Scam my opinion. I owe them nothing as they did nothing. No Communication skills or returned phone calls. FIRED!! Do I need get the Florida Atty General involved??? If you can do it on your own by following your states Lemon Law I would strongly suggest you do so. If you have purchased a new car in Georgia the step by step process is all you need to follow to get the manufacturer to buy back your vehicle. The State Operated Arbitration process was very fair and as long as you have your work orders from the dealership in order and have 3 or more of the same issues within the first 2 years; and have sent your notifications timely and by certified mail you have a good chance of getting a favorable decision. We felt the need to hire an attorney because our lease was ending and we wanted to make sure we got a decision before we had to return our leased vehicle. The manufacturer was trying to delay the process because you have to have the vehicle in your possession in order for the manufacturer to buy it back from you. When this law firm informed us that the Arbitrator ruled in our favor it was great! As time went by we realized we made a big mistake in hiring this law firm! Fortunately, we had the Arbitrators Decision letter to show how the process was supposed to go! I totally understand why they have received all the negative reviews they have received & I definitely would not recommend their services to anyone! read more

I was initially impressed with the first guy I talked to and started a claim process with them. In less than two days I cancelled services with them and went with a different company. I had more than 11 different "points of contact" for my case in a multitude of emails. Some of the emails came from PERSONAL Gmail accounts and some were from business accounts. I was asked to resubmit documentation to at least three different people via email with all sorts of personal information on it. The biggest complaint was the lack of security for my personal information. There was no encryption or portals to upload documents and the initial contract required me to sign a full page acknowledging a lack of security. There is such a high risk for identity theft and fraud that I dropped them. read more

This firm wasted months of my time by putting forth the worst attempt at securing a settlement. Their boiler plate correspondence is horribly formatted and riddled with typos. Not only was their responsive laughable, but the facts of my case were grossly misrepresented in the correspondence. Perhaps the greatest dereliction on their part was the fact that the repeatedly reached out to the wrong manufacturer of my vehicle. By far the worst law firm I have ever dealt with! not only did they not do their job in finishing my case but they then sent a lien to the manufacturer and refuse to send over the termination paperwork to me or the manufacture so that I can finish my case myself. be very cautious about how you handle your case with them because it's going to be you doing all the work they just horde paperwork and refuse to do anything unless you hold their hand and do it for them. So unless you're an attorney yourself and plan to pay them for you to do the work I don't recommend these people at all! I needed a firm to handle my lemon law claim for a 2018 GM product that had engine light issues since the vehicle was new. In fact when I spoke to the intake clerk, he made me think that the process would wrap up within 4-6 weeks and that the firm touts all their auto manufacturing experience since the attorneys came from the Auto Manufacturing industry. My car was in for service over30 days and since April of 21 it was in for service (same issue) six times. Well 8 weeks later, the firm couldn't even get GM to respond with an appropriate answer to our claim and now they are referring the claim to an attorney to determine if they want to continue litigation. Pass this firm up if you have a lemon law claim, I'm so disappointed in their lack of response, effort and inability to resolve an open and shut case. I'm going to pass on the firm offering to do anything else for me. I would have given 0 stars but it's not an option. read more

FCA was trying to force ME to pay THEM money, in order to buy back their LEMON 2019 Jeep Cherokee 4X4 Limited Edition vehicle. UNBELIEVABLE! Then I contacted The Lemon Law Group. Do yourself a favor and go to the BBB autoline website and do your OWN complaint. Lemon Law group gets you in the door by telling you that your attorney fees will be included, then sends you an email that says you MIGHT be responsible for the $3000 fee. When you call to clarify this, the attorney tells you oh no I don't see this as an issue. You decide to use them...BIG MISTAKE. You get the phone call (MONTHS later I might add) that your case was settled and you now owe $3000 in attorney's fees. Umm what?? You tell them that is not what they said and they say well I didn't lie to you...uhh YEAH you did. Then they say that you can go to litigation, but that could take a year Oh AND you would still have to continue the car payments....for a car you can NOT use. Now she sends you the email with the settlement totals. The mileage is WRONG so was overcharged for that AND it now says in the email litigation could take 1-2 years. Lady....all you do is freaking LIE. The best part is they never included the money that was put down on the car. Did I mention this is a BRAND NEW car that started having safety issues the SECOND day it was owned? The manufacturer should be covering the cost of the 3000 attorney fees...NOT US. So yeah....do your own BBB complaint. Stay AWAY from these shysters. all they want is your money. read more

This law firm is a disgrace! I DO NOT recommend. From the beginning, they have lied to me. The very first person I talked to said they could help me. I told them I needed to get OUT of this vehicle! IT IS NOT SAFE FOR MY CHILDREN! They don't care. They tell you what you want to hear to trap you into a contract so that you owe them money no matter what happens! Well, that was the last time I talked to that first person. Then I hear from a paralegal who takes my case. She dragged ass at the beginning, half ass answering my questions. I guess that was so the 10 days will pass so that I couldn't cancel the agreement. Then through emails and one letter, a couple months later, she was only able to get a $5k offer. Basically said I had to accept. Didn't really care to try to help me at all. I got the impression she didn't want to do her job. She didn't want to due her research. So, I speak to ANOTHER person who asks me what I want. I told him again, I need out of this car. I need KIA to take it back or give ma enough cash to pay it down so that I can trade it and not be upside down! Only then do they explain that with a buy back I will OWE money! WHAT?! He said we could take it to court, but that could take years and if nothing else happens to my car by then it could look bad for us, etc. So, I said I needed more cash. In a matter of hours he was able to get $2k more from KIA to cover their fee. They reduced from $3k to $2k. I basically felt like I had no choice but to accept, or else I would be stuck with having to pay the law firm out of pocket. FOR WHAT? They did NOTHING for me! So, a couple days after I sign the agreement, I get a settlement in the mail from KIA. Saying that the vehicle I have is in a class action law suit because of engine issues causing dangerous situations. Excuse me?!! This is exactly why I needed out. But as lawyers, shouldn't they have done their research and knew this? Used it to get me out of the car??!!! So, I reach back out and ask for a manager THREE times before I finally get a manager's EMAIL! I emailed him, but then hear from yet another person (who I have never talked to), and the email from him says "We will not be reducing the fees anymore". All this law firm cares about is the money. They could CARE LESS about what the customer needs. Yes, I am getting a cash settlement (if they forward me the check). It's been 6 weeks for so since I accepted and they said last week, the manufacturer is sending out now. However, it is not enough money to do anything. The car company is supposed to pay all fees, that's what we were told, that is not fully true. They do not answer their phone but would just send an email. They do not give you much hope in your case but just encourage you to take the extremely low offer the car company is offering. If you use this lawyer group be prepared to keep the car and settle for maybe $500. I was disappointed in the way everything was handled. I asked them why they dropped us, they told me that my warranty had expired which was bs. I still had 25000 miles on the warranty. Then they told me that i still have to many miles!!! They new how many miles i had when they took the case. My LEMON RAM 3500 was in the shop for over 30 straight days not to mention all the other times.
