The associate who first came to assess our roof and give us a quote was super informative and respectful. There was no "hard sell" and he patiently answered all of our questions even though we were in the middle of other renovations and told him we wouldn't be making any decisions that day. He said "no problem" and sent us the quote to look over. Two months later we booked the job and were thrilled with the results. The whole process was easy and exactly what you'd expect from a good roofing company. They showed up exactly when they said they would, did a wonderful job and cleaned up before they left. Four years later our gutters started to leak. Mind you, this company sub-contracts out the gutter installation, so it technically wasn't their mistake. Specialist Roofing & Repair sent out a supervisor and fixed the issue-- no charge, no delay. All under warranty. They are a WONDERFUL company that does a great job and treats their customers with respect. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

As a result, my wife spent considerable time researching roofing companies in hopes of finding a reputable, licensed contractor that could work within our budget. While several of the companies she contacted were professional and courteous, we ultimately chose Prime American Roofing--and we are extremely glad we did. Our Project Manager, Jonathan, worked closely with us and provided an estimate that fit our budget. He was friendly, communicative, and always available to answer questions or address concerns. His team handled all of the necessary permits through the City of Pasadena, making the process as smooth as possible. Most importantly, the roofing crew did a phenomenal job replacing our roof. The quality of their workmanship exceeded our expectations, and Jonathan and his team truly went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied with the final result. Following my original review, Prime America Roofing contacted me and took responsibility for addressing the issues I had raised regarding my $25,000+ silicone roof-coating project. I believe it is only fair to update my review to reflect that the company ultimately responded to my concerns and resolved the outstanding matters to my satisfaction. My original concerns were legitimate and accurately reflected my experience at the time. They included silicone overspray and splatter, components on the roof not being properly repositioned, an improperly routed AC condensate line that caused an operational problem, silicone residue left in an outdoor sink, and--most importantly at the time--a lack of follow-up after I initially reported these matters. Since then, however, Prime America Roofing has worked with me to address these concerns, and the issues have now been resolved. I appreciate a company that is willing to return, listen to a customer's concerns, and make things right. While I wish the project had been completed to this standard from the outset and that the initial follow-up had been more responsive, I also believe a contractor should receive appropriate credit when it ultimately stands behind its work. For that reason, I am updating my original review and rating to reflect the company's subsequent efforts and successful resolution of my concerns.
