Stay Away from RV Country!…read more Worst RV dealer I have ever been too, rude not helpful and doesn't care what you want. Went in to look at class C and class A RV'S. They had a sells person help us and asked us what we were looking for. He took us to the golf cart and drove us to a Class A RV that was bigger than we were looking for. As we looked at it he kept trying to start it, but it was dead. He left us at the RV to get a jump box and came back with a forklift to try and start it. It still wouldn't start. I told him he didn't need to keep trying to start it as we were only looking today. He said he didn't have any other ones to show us and left us at the RV and said he would meet us back at the front. He made us walk back in the heat. Worst sells person I have ever worked with. Because we didn't want the RV he wanted to sell us (the first one he showed us) he dumped us and left us. I called Dan's Mobile RV Service and that same day a technician came out to diagnose the problem. It was determined that the compressor went out. I went through my extended warranty to replace the AC unit. Dan worked with me and ordered the AC replacement unit so it was ready to be installed. Once my warranty was approved Dan came out to my site and installed the AC unit. He did an outstanding job. He stayed in contact with me throughout the process. I was very impressed. So I called Camping World and spoke with Joseph in the Service department and he said they could help me with that, so I made the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment Jason was my service advisor and he was very helpful and friendly. He asked if I wanted them to dispose of the hitch and I said no, I was going to they and sale it. It didn't take long for them to finish the work. And I was charged what I was quoted. When I got home I thought I was going to be able the drag the hitch off the back of the truck and on to a cart. No way, it was way too heavy. So the next day I called Jason back to see if the offer still stands and it did. Jason's team removed the hitch from bed and I was very happy to be done with it. Camping World Fresno Service Experience Review…read more I brought my 2023 Alliance fifth-wheel trailer to the Camping World store in Fresno, CA on November 12, 2025, with a comprehensive list of warranty items that needed to be repaired. Unfortunately, what followed was nearly five months of delays, poor communication, and incomplete repairs. I heard nothing from the service department until I personally went to the store on January 6, 2026. The Fresno Camping World Service Manager (Joseph) told me I needed to wait about 15 minutes because he wanted to have a staff meeting and they would help me when they were done. How unprofessional! I was then informed that nothing had been done to my trailer and that I would be assigned a new service advisor because they had fired the first one. I reviewed the entire list of repairs along with the email from Alliance with the new advisor. The Service Manager assured me that I would receive weekly calls with updates on the progress of my trailer. Those weekly updates never happened. I eventually returned to the store in February and discovered that still nothing had been repaired. I heard nothing further and returned again at the beginning of March, only to find that the work still had not been completed. I had finally had enough. The following week, I asked to speak with the Fresno Camping World Store Manager. I met with both the Store Manager and the Service Manager, and we agreed that all of the items on my repair list would be addressed and that the trailer would be ready by the end of the week. I picked up the trailer as promised, but unfortunately, not everything had been repaired. Even worse, the trailer had additional problems that were not present when I originally dropped it off nearly five months earlier. The tech and I took pictures for documentation and I brought this to the attention of the service department. I was told I would need to bring it back another time so they could diagnose the issues. The day after I picked up the trailer, I received a voicemail from the Fresno Camping World Service Manager telling me that we would "part as friends but he never wanted to work on my trailer again". I found this extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially after the amount of time I had already spent trying to get the original repairs completed. I attempted to contact Camping World's Corporate Office to file a complaint and on June 22, 2026 I reached a live person. I asked to speak with a manager but was told by the person on the other end of the line (Julie) that my issue did not warrant that escalation. I called the Camping World corporate office again on June 24, 2026 and finally received a call from the Regional Manager of the Fresno Camping store (Kelcey), who told me she would contact the store and speak with the staff. The service department contacted me about another appointment, but I was told they would only address the items that were still outstanding from my original list. They would not address the new problems that occurred while the trailer was in their care; I was told I would have to bring the trailer back at another time for those issues. I contacted the Regional Service Manager again to explain the situation and never received a response. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of communication, the repeated delays, the incomplete repairs, the additional problems created while my trailer was in their possession, and the unwillingness to take responsibility for those problems are unacceptable. I will never take my trailer to Camping World again. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone needing RV repairs find a more reputable and dependable business. Nearly five months after bringing my trailer in, I was left with unresolved repairs, additional problems, and a complete loss of confidence in Camping World's service department.
