Armed with load reports that involved actually measuring the length of baseboard and radiators and recommendations for alternatives to get the additional 30,000 btus that are missing from Len's Load report, we hope to show Navien and Len that it is undersized. I had a kitchen faucet replaced but, in the process, the novice but extremely polite plumber chipped the granite countertop. At first, manager Greg was very responsive. He responded when I called to let me know they would repair it and make it right. They had a home renovation company they work with come to my home and look at the damage about three weeks later. It is now after mid February. I have heard nothing and Greg does not return my calls. I am hopeful that they will make this right and that I can update this review. read more

The plumber came out for 15 minutes to change a cartridge. He installed it incorrect and caused a leak. He also stole our faucet. We had to call another plumber and he was there almost all day fixing it. However, Len charged twice as much to do nothing, steal my faucet, and fix nothing. Can't even get a call back for days. Now the customer service manager called and left a number that doesn't even work. Its been 5 days now and they can't fix a thing. You can't even call them directly, they hired some answering service that is useless. I'm filling a police report for the stolen faucet your fake plumber made me buy. I filed a complaint with the BBB as well because you can't actually contact anyone at Len the fake plumber. You should also read the complaint section of the BBB. They are all the same, someone comes out, screws up your plumbing worse than it was, then you can't get hold of anyone. I just read another review here where the lady had same issue. You can't get a hold of anyone and they tell you it will be their last call and they made several. The random on the phone typically hangs up and can't actually do anything. Her review is spot on. Besides the huge cost to pay for all those ads on TV, if they screw up, you're on your own, there is no way to contact an office. read more

In NJ -- We used Len the Plumber for a cracked cast iron pipe repair ($6,000) and a sewer line replacement ($13,000). After they completed the repairs, we were told that they are price gougers and prey on the elderly and people in dire situations (such as ours). The iron pipe repair should have cost no more than $3500 and the sewer line replacement no more than $6,500. Be wary and get estimates before getting ripped off by them! read more

I would NEVER recommend "Len the Plumber" to anyone. Their customer service is horrific. I had a scheduled appointment for a plumber to come out today from 2pm-5pm. My family specifically took off work to wait for the plumber. Around 4:30 when our plumber no call no showed, I called the 800 number to check on the ETA of our plumber. I was told I had to wait for a call from local dispatch. As it was nearly 5pm at that time, I decided to look up a local number, hoping I'd get someone who could help me. The same gentleman named Tony who I just spoke with answered and when I asked for an ETA he said he didn't have any information. I politely asked when I should be expecting a call from dispatch, as he told me in our last call that they'd be calling me. Again, Tony said he couldn't help me. I then advised Tony that if dispatch didn't call me, I'd continue to call this number to check in. Tony then rudely replied, "PLEASE DONT." When I asked what he meant, he said please don't call. When I told him that it was unprofessional to speak to a customer like that, he said again and again, "Why would you continue calling. Please don't." I asked for a supervisor. He gave me a hard time then finally put me on hold. After a few minutes on hold, Tony hung up on me. I called back and got a supervisor, Kelly who was minimally helpful. She apologized but it didn't seem genuine. She said she would "get me taken care of." Dispatch eventually called me back, as it was now going on 5:30pm and the plumber STILL didn't show up. A rude lady called, didn't even introduce herself and said "Yeah, I tried calling you all day." When I asked what number she called from, she couldn't tell me. She stated she left me "multiple voicemails throughout the day," none of which I received. And when I asked her where the plumber was, she replied "he is on a call, that's why I was calling you all day to tell you." When I inquired about why someone else wasn't dispatched because the original plumber was "on a call" she was very nasty and said she tried to call me. I then asked if the plumber was finally coming out to help us and she said "did I say he wasn't?" Last Friday night at midnight my toilet was clogged. I called my usual plumber and left a voicemail message. I couldn't wait for his response so I ended up calling Len the Plumber. They sent someone out around 4:30 pm on Saturday, and they were very nice and seemed to work very hard. When I went down the steps to take a look, which was very difficult for me because of I have ambulatory dysfunction, they had not only replaced my drain pipe; they also disconnected my copper pipes coming from my kitchen. I didn't have any problems with that at all! Then to boot; they didn't have a part to reconnect my kitchen drain, and they tracked dirt all through my living room. They assured me that someone would be out at 9 am on Sunday to finish the job. That never happened and I ended up having to wash my dishes in the bathroom sink. A different guy showed up Monday afternoon, but this was after I called the office again and got very angry with them. I told them they had to be done by 2 pm because I needed to be somewhere at 2:30. They finished at 2 and the total cost was over $5100. They didn't even credit me the $80 they advertised for any plumbing service. Then tonight, while speaking to my daughter, she told me she called them to complain and they told her my pipes were clogged because I flushed baby wipes. This really made me mad, because I NEVER us wipes, and don't even have any in my house. Bottom line is I would not recommend the company. I feel they take advantage of senior citizens and do unnecessary things to pad the bill. read more

Our toilet was clogged and we had Len The Plumber come in. They came when they were expected, the guys were nice, they cleared the clog but a day later it was clogged again. I called them and told them and they told me "they don't warranty clogs in toilets." So if I had them come out again I would have to pay again. We were desperate so I said go ahead and come over. This time they did a more thorough job, pulled out the toilet, resealed in and we thought we were good. A couple of days later it's clogged again. I had told the kids not to use too much tp and our kids aren't little so I know they aren't putting stuff down there so it's not us. I called again and it was the same thing with the warranty and the thing is we still don't know what's wrong but so far we've spent $700 on this and they are asking for more to come in. It's unbelievable really. If the job isn't done, they should complete it, not treat it like a brand new job. It isn't. We don't know what the issue is which is why we called a "professional" to help. It was working fine before these clogs. Bottom line, Nice guys but they'll keep asking for money for a job that isn't done. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more
