Bar Cicchetti should be WAYYYY more popular than what it is! Before we had ever come here, we had talked with some people about this place and out of about a dozen of us, not a single one of us was exactly sure how to pronounce the name. lol I'm sure if the name was easier to pronounce, it would be easier for the tales of its goodness to spread via word of mouth. #1: if you are a beer drinker, their Happy Hour is legit. It's almost 2026 and they still have $2 pints (16 oz)!!! #2: Their food is seriously delicious and isn't your usual cookie cutter fair thats served at chain restaurants. I've had the cacio e pepe, chorizo mac and cheese, crab lasagna, and gnocchi. All of my meals were excellent. This place has lowkey become a top 10 restaurant for me in OKC.

I went for the first time of Valentine's Day in 2024 and had a good time. I definitely enjoyed the espresso martini that they had! I also recently went in March 2026 after they advertised that they changed their menu and I enjoyed it much more this time. The service was better, the food was better...just an all around better experience. I got the Wagyu beef and pepper skewers, the pork belly bao buns, and the potato jackets. I also had their skillet cookie, which is not included in my pictures, but it was delicious! It was topped with Heath bar and it was to die for Overall, just a great place to go to hang out with friends, drink, gossip and just share plates.

The drinks and the wagyu skewers were fantastic however they weren't ready to open at 4pm (when the reservation was for) and everything else was just average. The drinks were great other than one of the drinks having a gnat... We got the patatas bravas and wagyu skewers for appetizers. The patatas bravas was not all the way cooked but the Wagyu was amazing. For food we got the burger which was good. The potato gnocchi I got vegan which was not good but that is my fault. The staff was pleasant. the restaurant was clean and seating was nice.

This is the SPOT for a chill girls night. I've been here a few times for happy hour (4-6pm) and its super conveniently located in Deep Deuce, with a free parking garage for guests as well as street parking throughout since its located at an apartment complex. There are plenty of seating and we usually were able to just walk in or get a resy for a bigger group no problem. The drinks were generally delish and last time we decided on bartender's choices and some of us opted for a mocktail which turned out so refreshing! The service is attentive and friendly. There are ample food choices but my staples here are the lamb meatballs, crispy cauliflower, seared tuna carpaccio, and patatas bravas, all so flavorful and filling too, and most of these are on the HH menu too. Last time we ventured out and tried the fried chicken thigh which was pretty good (though the skin was too thick for my liking personally), and Mediterranean salad which also was decent. Would probs pass on those next time but definitely worth a try at least! A friend got the cheeseburger Americana and that looks huge too, so there are options for everyone. Definitely don't sleep on Bar Cicchetti~

This qaint little restaurant is a gem. The food was so delightful. The service was outstanding even though the restaurant was extremely busy. There was 7 women at our table and everyone raved about the food. Bar specials from 4 to 6pm. Parking garage for convenience but make sure to get a coin to get out of the parking garage.

We had several different food options. Started with Roasted Artichoke Fonduta and Seared Tuna Carpaccio. The tuna was good, the bread with the fonduta was very oily, really loaded with butter. But my biggest disappointment was the Wagyu Sirloin Steak. It was the toughest, chewiest steak I've had in a long time. Tougher than fajita skirt steak that I've had at any average Mexican restaurant. I split it with my wife, and we still did t finish it. The service was slow and inconsistent. When she picked up plates half full of food she didn't even notice or ask about it. The atmosphere was good, downtown energetic vibes. But based on the food I would not go back.

We were seated immediately on a night that wasn't too busy. We got a table upstairs. They do have an elevator. Our food came out perfectly. We enjoyed watching sports on the TV above the bar. Several large parties came in- dressed to celebrate the holidays and a birthday. The bartenders made lots of fun drinks for that table. The menu has lots of choices- but not that many were way to have gf and df. Still a fun place to go. My son found it from a TikTok review

Ok my second visit! Came back with some friends for a Christmas dinner get together! The food 100! on point! The vibes amazing! Loved the atmosphere! This time we sat downstairs. Servers were great! The dessert! Amazing! That cookie! Yummy! Everything was on point. My new favorite place!

My friends were in town from California and I wanted to treat them to a nice place to eat. We were able to get a table easily on a Monday night. They were short-staffed, but our waitress was amazing. We weren't in any hurry, so we were patient. The restaurant is very nice inside. Perfect for date night or a fun girl's night out. The music was awesome. Very good 90s R&B. We wanted to try so many thing, so we ordered a lot and shared. The wings weren't very flavorful, but we enjoyed everything else, especially the chicken thighs. I'm not sure what was wrong with the bathroom, but the water pressure for the sink to wash your hands was awful. The water barely came out. Overall, great place to eat.

First, kudos to Taylor for taking such great care of us. She has the most amazingly warm personality. Second, the food was delicious. My Israeli couscous was cooked perfectly alongside the mahimahi. The bar/restaurant is the perfect spot to hang out with friends and catch up. Thank you for making this visit worth it.

Bar Cicchetti is one of those places where the food, drinks, and experience are consistently 10/10. The menu has amazing shareable plates with real attention to flavor, and everything feels just a notch above your standard bar fare. This time we tried the fried cauliflower, chicken thigh and patatas bravas, all discounted during Happy Hour. All were really good, like literally the flavors were perfect. Loved the idea of Bartenders Choice where basically you choose a spirit and they surprise you with a drink using that spirit. Drinks are well-crafted and pair nicely with the food, making it easy to linger longer than planned. Service is attentive without being overbearing, which rounds out the experience in the best way.

Everything I have ever gotten has been so amazing!! Great food and drinks! Best burger I've ever had but this time I got chicken Alfredo.

I finally made my way here tonight before a work get together and initially I enjoyed the space and atmosphere. It is very cozy and intimate, and there are not many bars like it in OKC. However, when it came to the bartenders (two from my interaction) and cocktails -- my experience was less than cozy. Long story short, I asked for an espresso martini, a basic drink I know. And I was told as such by both bartenders working, one of which called me 'boring'. They wanted me to try a drink off their menu, and I respect the pride and effort this business put into crafting unique, holiday cocktails. However, none of them spoke to me tonight, and I wanted a run of the mill espresso martini. One bartender asked if I would be willing to try one of their drinks similar to an espresso martini, to which I agreed, however I still did not enjoy and requested a regular (boring and basic) espresso martini. They said they typically avoid making these popular drinks, but made an exception for me. Which is really unfortunate, because it was one of the best espresso martinis I've had in the city. Both bartenders later apologized for their comments, but I'm unsure if they were genuine or trying to save face. All in all, if you're willing to explore untraditional cocktails with a cozy vibe, you should try this place. If you have a simple pallet, that doesn't need to be wowed, it's questionable if you should visit. If this review doesn't get me banned, I may give it another try. Happy drinking!

Staff is very helpful in finding what you're looking for and making recommendations. 10% off for military, vets, and first responders (cigars only). I got out of my Uber, and I saw a couple walking into the main building. One would assume that everyone is there for art and passes by thinking nothing of it, but I knew there was a secret entrance waiting to be found. I tipped my Uber and walked in. The couple was gone, and all that was left were closed shops in a long wooden hallway. In the Hallway was a man in normal clothes. He said, "The lounge?" Yes, I replied, and he asked for my ID. I showed it to him, then he pointed to a black box on the wall with a moon sticker on it. I pushed it, and the wall opened like an Indiana Jones movie. First impressions are important, and I was impressed. The hidden entrance established the secrecy and exclusivity that I expected from a speakeasy. The Lunar Lounge featured a 1990s retro space theme. This included decorations and art. They had their business logo on the wall, a mural of a naked women sitting on a crescent moon with long red hair covering her private parts. There was a robot-shaped snack machine with a mini tube television for a head, static on the screen with angry black electrical tape making his eyes and mouth. The music was energetic without overpowering people's conversations. Calling ahead of time, I met with a bartender who explained to me that they had no intention of becoming a speakeasy; they wanted to create a safe place for their friends who were part of the LGBT community to express themselves out of sight of public view without fear of judgment or discrimination. Basically, meeting every requirement of a Modern Speakeasy. The owner did a good job creating a convivial atmosphere. People were friendly and socially warm in this relaxed environment. According to the Annuals of Tourism, "Convivial atmospheres are powerful in that they carry with them a transformative potential in terms of individuals' openness to and anticipation of future encounters, and their attendant feelings"(Rokka). The Hosts, therefore, created an Atmosphere catered to their intended Patrons. Even though the secret entrance and the atmosphere made this speakeasy impressive, the focus is on the drinks. Now, a bartender does not need to be a master at mixology, but for the sake of the evaluation, there are a few things people tend to look for in a drink. I personally evaluate a cocktail based on the balance of sweetness, acidity, bitterness, and aftertaste. According to the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, "mixologists, with their aesthetic approach, contribute to transforming mixology into a form of cultural and creative expression" (Creta). I ordered a sophisticated drink from their menu, wondering what they might do differently. I ordered their Cosmopolitan, a signature cocktail. Instead of putting one shot or two shots, the bartender put a shot and a half. This made the alcohol blend in with the sweetness, not too sweet, so that someone would not drink it too fast. With the cranberry juice, he added a space candy garnish shaped like the moon, and as it dissolved, it started to dye the drink blue. After I finished the drink, I ordered it again from a different bartender, and she made it the same way. I saw consistency; all their signature cocktails looked cold, full of artistic expression, and used high-quality ingredients. Now, an argument I would consider valid concerning Speakeasies is: "A real Speakeasy is a traditional hidden room within a restaurant or cave with formal attire and with jazz music." And to a point, I would agree, but at that time, cave networks were maintained, and Restaurants were a family business where you could make a secret room without corporate overreach or whistleblowing. Those places were modern at the time. Today, Speakeasy simply means to go somewhere to drink away from the general public to speak easily. This could be two construction workers getting off work to go to an exclusive place where most union workers go to relax after work, to a private room where two politicians talk shop out of earshot of the public, or to a restaurant turning into a bar after business hours and bringing in a DJ, karaoke or actual theatre. All of these activities meet the constantly changing environment that would and could be seen in a speakeasy. Ultimately, the Lunar Lounge succeeds because it captures the cultural purpose of a speakeasy, with secret doors leading to a convivial atmosphere and well-made cocktails. Based on my data and experience at the Lunar Lounge, I would consider it a modern speakeasy. The 18th Amendment wasn't just about stopping the sales of alcohol. It was about stopping people from expressing themselves in America and spreading cultural influence. The Lunar Lounge met my basic evaluation of a speakeasy, not just the physical building, but also the Freedom of Expression that its customers enjoyed.
