After a year of dealing with people in CS that had no clue how to fix it, they finally corrected their mistake, but I still had no account to pay. Then the repossession threats started. After paying by autopay for 3 years, them inactivating my account they wanted a year's worth of payments or they would repossess. I ended up writing them two years worth of payments to pay off the 0% loan so I would NEVER have to do business with VW again.

I was scheduled to drop off which I did last night at Hampton Chevrolet. I got a call this morning saying they don't do water leaks. They gave me the number of a water leak guy who told me he worked for all of their dealerships. Now I have to go to the guy an hour away after wasting half a day going back and forth to Hampton Chevrolet. All I got was, "I"m sorry the call center schedules our calls and they don't know what we do." When I called the call center to complain they put me on hold and sent me to voice mail. When I asked to complain at the dealership they said the manager was out, but I could look around for the Sales manager. No thank you. Horrible service.

I wasted a lot of time shopping here and trying to come to some agreement. Prices were a little higher then surrounding areas. Trade in process was kind of a waste as it was a typical low ball my trade and not budge on their price at all. The management were pretty douchey from the tough guy act and the GM I think it was also just straight up ignored me trying to ask questions. The biggest gripe I had was the mandatory 2000$ "free oil change" southern hospitality package. I'm active duty military and after asking questions and finally getting to the little details this package is terrible for military as it's null and void if you transfer and move away from the area. So if I move in July I just through 2 grand out the window. Even after voicing this concern they still would not budge from this. Very unethical in my opinion. So my bill had like an extra 3 grand tacked on with this and the dealer fee. This was the deal breaker for me. I ended up buying one from cavalier mazda and let me tell you the experience there was amazing!

I brought my vehicle in for service, and what should have been a straightforward repair turned into a series of broken promises and wasted time. I was repeatedly told different times to pick up my vehicle, only for each "ready for pickup" time to pass with no call, no explanation, and no vehicle ready. Because of these constant delays and false assurances, I ended up missing a day and a half of work, costing me both time and income. Communication was poor throughout the entire process, and each time I tried to get an honest update, I was met with conflicting information from different employees. I expect transparency and accountability when trusting a business with my vehicle and my time, and Firestone failed on both fronts. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you value your schedule, your livelihood, and your peace of mind.
