Moved into my home in March 2022 and still dealing with repairs; most of which have been done and re-done numerous times! I suggest anyone who has bought a Lennar home get a private home inspection after move in. House was found to have broken trusses, unwrapped pipes, half insulation in attic and over 50 other issues! City of Henderson Code Enforcement Division will be notified of home inspection violations. Mass production of poorly constructed homes while creating the illusion of customer care seems to be the standard business model for Lennar. read more

Bought a two bedroom two bath house from Lennar three years ago, and just from the jump had all kinds of issues, some of theirs and some of it Matt our kitchen was completely flooded from underneath from sanding a idiot system, plumber, who didn't know what the heck he was doing, and we had to endure a weekend of blowers and dryers humidifiers to with no compensation, and the work was done. Everything was fixed no not one word of giving us a penny for inconvenience. It soured me on Lennar. I would not recommend this company. read more

This review is for Heritage at Cadence Nice community and I like the inside layout of my home. But using their design center can be a very costly mistake get the basics and do your upgrades once you move in. I know that sounds like a head ache but that is better than a big disappointment and money down the drain. Also ask about everything in the house examples only two of my windows can be opened and only gas dryers so if you have electric you have to buy a new dryer. I hope this will help other buyers. read more

If you plan on working with Lennar Builders, be prepared for disappointment! We put down our Ernest money as requested in 1 day found that there was an issue with the home decided to cancel within the 5-day window of the contract, and 3 weeks later we still have not received back our funds! Once you try, they become ghosts and do not respond to emails, texts, or calls. Just know you have the potential of possibly losing your Ernest money or at least not getting it back in a timely manner! read more

Lennar offers a taillight warranty. The houses are not well built. Everyone is having a lot of problems with their houses. Lennar does not care. Examples sidewalks are falling apart. Fireplaces are overheating so they can't be used. Common area lighting is horrible. Supposed to be a gated community. Gate has been broken more than working. Pools have had numerous issues. Clubhouse gas main ruptured. Amazingly no one was injured or killed. The only way Lennar will do repairs is by residents filling complaints with the Nevada contractor board. If after reading this you still buy here, you are getting what you deserve read more

They need to open the Bridge so people that live on the Courtyard side can get to the Clubhouse easier. Also cannot get an Uber or a Lyft or a food delivery in the Courtyard side all addresses do not even exist on google maps and no one will come for a pickup or delivery. When will the Bridge open? read more

01 July 2019 Today my wife and i visited LENNAR Model Homes at Heritage in Cadence, Henderson Nevada. This is a +55 Community. Our lift driver dropped us at the wrong location of LENNAR model homes. New Home Consultant Jonathan Coley, politely offered to drive us to the other LENNAR Model Homes office (approx. 2 miles) and then stayed with us to walk us through the two model homes we wanted to see. He explained LENNAR's pricing structure regarding upgrades. Compared to other Home builders LENNAR model homes prices include what you are seeing in the model home structure itself. Mainly the only option upgrades for us to choose was Kitchen Cabinets and flooring. e.g. all windows had blinds, this is included in the price. Jonathan then took us back to the correct sales office and introduced us to the Manager of this section in Heritage; Laurie Swisher. Laurie then added additional / clarifications to each of our questions. It was a great experience, both for myself and my wife as we felt at ease and comfortable discussing all the things that are provided by LENNAR and what the future expansion of services at Cadence will be. read more

Just remember when you buy a home with Lennar after you close on the house you will not receive any customer service if you have a problem. They will do everything not to help you. When you call they will not return your call. I tried to call with a problem 4 times in 30 days and I am still waiting for a call back. They care nothing about service after they get there money. read more

The only good thing about Lennar is the homes are beautiful and the sales agent Laurie is very nice. Having said that, I purchased lot in October with a 30 day contingency I sell my home. Unfortunately, I had a poor real estate agent and my home didn't sell. I cancelled the Lennar purchase November 29, 2017 as I no longer had my house listed. Fast forward to January 9th, 2018 I relisted my home and it sold in two days! I went back to Lennar to see about purchasing again and found out lot that same lot was still available, but had increased in price $25,000 and the 6% incentive for closing costs and flooring had be reduced to 3%. I requested Lennar reduce some of the $25,000 and/or at least give me the 6% incentive. They refused to do anything, even though I was repurchasing the SAME home and same lot! I purchased it because I love the house and it was the only one left. I sent an email to the head of the Las Vegas division Ms Broddle on January 31, 2018 requesting some compensation and as of today February 17th, no response....not even a there is nothing I can or won't do. Oh, by the way, their lender is using the loan documents from the October purchase, but that's ok???? Lennar used to be one of the best in customer service and now that they have become one of the largest home builders, they forgot how they got there. I have heard of other people saying how they have changed, and not for the better. read more

If you buy a home from them, USE A REALTOR!!!! I didn't. Their main goal seems to be selling the loan, not the home. Found a better rate on a loan after much go round with their lender, who I semi-committed to. Then the financial blackmail starts and you must drink your poison-- you can use their lender with a higher rate or use yours and give back the incentives-- even though they tell you that you get the incentives if you find a lower rate. Also, I understand construction is not an exact science but you will be told the home will be done within a few days of their target date, no matter how many times you ask, follow the progress and see with your layman's eye that it won't happen. When, of course, it doesn't and you question completion, the response is "good news!" the problem you were not informed of has been rectified! Wow, isn't that lucky!!!! You can't schedule movers, line up utilities, know where you will be living and when, or plan your life. Other than being added to their mass e-mail list, there has been no contact, communication, or updates other than than what I have pursued. A friend of mine bought a new construction home from Pardee and received updates every couple weeks. Since I signed that contract and wrote that check, it has been crickets. I am living out of boxes and have had to extend stay at apartment. If this information was communicated, it would be fine but the problems seem to be compounding and If their homes are anything like their customer service, I question whether I should go through with this huge purchase and financial commitment. Also, after the way I have been treated, I really don't want certain employees there to profit off my money. So far, it is not boding well. Having said all that, the homes are beautiful as is the clubhouse. The residents I have run into seem nice. The neighborhood is lovely. My complaint is my treatment by Lennar, not sure if I got a bad salesperson or this is business as usual. read more
