Overall attitude was bad. I'm not sure if somebody miscommunicated with me about the time I was supposed to be there. I thought I was about 5 to 9 minutes late. The lady that scheduled me said I was 16 minutes late and they had to cancel me or schedule me the next day which I already drove out from an hour away. Didn't seem very sorry about it. I purchased glasses online on a random website that was having a deal due to budget. Usually I'm hesitant on ordering online due to fitting. I Basically I ordered the new glasses too Wide and I work in athletic healthcare so I need to be able to hinge, squat, work on a therapy table & be mobile. They kept sliding down my nose & were too big for my head. It took me a while to get them adjusted, but I decided to go to this specific Lens Crafters to see if they can possibly help and I'd be willing to pay. I walked in and immediately got greeted and helped by Adriana. I explained everything about my lenses and my work needs. We sat down, chat it up a bit while she re-adjusted my glasses. She was kind, helpful, and straightforward. She got my consent on reframing my glasses since I did not purchase them there- I did consent and I'm glad she touched base on this before moving forward with the re-adjustment. It was a Free process and I'm so grateful because she helped me with having to constantly fix my glasses all the time, every minute of the day. Adriana saved me so much stress and I'm grateful to have walked in. It only took about 5 minutes or less. This was around 5:30pm on a Friday so there was nobody in the business besides about 2 others plus 2 other workers. I'm not sure how busy it gets at other times. The doctor I saw told me I had cataracts and recommended a doctor. She said once I had the surgery come back and they will retest my vision. I appreciated that she didn't try to sell me a pair of glasses prior to me having surgery. Since having cataract surgery I may not even need glasses. Awesome service!! I have yet been able to come to this location because of the bad service over the phone. They always tell me that the doctor will want to do an exam at their location before I'm even able to complete my sentences. Mind you I just did an exam that's in their system with another location. The optometrist was excellent and very thorough. One of the best I've encountered since moving to the state. Dont write negative reviews, but felt like i should. Called multiple times to made an appointment, gave the lady my insurance information and she said she was going to email me document to file out and bring with me to the appointment.She said my insurance is hood cause she was able to find it with my social. Fast forward the day of my appointment, I still had not gotten an email from them, and I checked my spam mail as well. I called multiple times, and there was no answer! Finally, I shopped up to my appointment. First of all, they asked if I had an actual appointment cause they couldn't find my info. After a few minutes, they found it. Mistakes happen. I proceeded to tell them, "You guys must have been busy today cause I called, and no one answered my calls." One lady said that they were actually very slow today, and I must have called the wrong number and proceeded to see my phone and know if I was calling the wrong number. OK! I showed her my call history, which I thought was kind of weird. Why would I lie about calling. She proceeded to say you must have done something wrong cause our phones work. OK, now I'm an idiot I guess. At this point, another lady called me over. Walked in to room and as I sat, she proceeded to say their is a $65 fee for examination and asked if it's OK. I was confused cause the lady over the phone mentioned nothing the fee, but I was willing to pay it. She then proceeds to say well the lady that made the appointment marked that she told you about the fee and says you must have not paid attention. At that point, I was super annoyed. I told her that I was going to leave at this point cause I had been insulted from the minute I walked in. I actually found another eye doctor not far and had a great experience with them. Took my boys and myself here to get eye exams and glasses. My copay is normally $10 I was told it went up to $49 by a voicemail that was left for me. I didn't think anything of it and decided I'll deal with it when I got to the appointment. Well I went back for my exam first and they said they used this "new" machine to scan your eye instead of dilating the eye. Needless to say the new machines the reason for the copay increase but I was not told this was optional. We were just given the exam and expected to pay for it. I am so over the monopolization of the eye industry. If it wasn't for my children needing glasses I would never go back. read more

I received an incorrect prescription, completely incorrect advice on the type of trial prescription lenses I was given which were monthly and I was told they were dailies. When I called to see if I could be accommodated to have this corrected it took speaking to several people. I was rescheduled to come in for another appointment and at my appointment time after waiting 10 minutes I was told that the on shift doctor was running about 30 minutes behind. If you value your time and like working with competent people, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. read more

Had a bad experience in 2019 and a bad experience today. Should have learned my lesson the first time. Called after making my appointment to ensure I would leave with a prescription in hand not this whole you need to return in a few days to get it like last time. It took me speaking to 3 different people to get a simple answer. Went in for a glasses and contact exam they stated my copay was going to be $140 plus additional $110 for some sort of retina picture. I tried to call my insurance to verify my copay and they told me they would need to reschedule I said forget it and left. They just want to bill you and insurance as much as possible. read more

I would say zero stars because I am really disappointed with my recent experience. I went in to special order some frames and the assistant manager was extremely helpful. However, when the frame arrives I ran into a bunch of problems with them including them trying to sell me something I didn't want and them saying "Well, if you don't buy your lenses with us then you might receive a bill from your insurance for the price of the frame because of how we processed it, we forgot to tell you that." I immediately requested a refund. To sum it all up: In my opinion, these people's attitude screams "used car salesman" who attempts to upsell you at the last second for their own commission. We went into lens crafters with a clear direction of getting a contact exam. NOTHING ELSE. They were trying to up sale we said no to everything. We "have" to do a trail fitting for contacts is what they stated. Mind you I have gone to different locations and have NEVER been told that. At the end of it all we "HAD" to do all these extras and were charged when we stated no. This is the second time I've came to this location and they have not listened to me and my request when it has come to my eye care and what I want to do with them and why I have came in. Future reference NEVER coming back to this location b/c I had to pay 170$ out of pocket for I'm not even sure what at this point. Pretty sure they're scamming and pocketing the cash. Tried to contact this store also and no one has been able to get back. Do not come here, they don't care for the costumers. read more

Brought them into LensCrafters and they replaced and fixed both nose pieces without issue and without charging me for the replacement parts/labor. All they asked for was a review of the business. Went in with a prescription in my hand all ready for some new specs, left with my prescription and no new glasses. So sad but I did get an education. So LensCrafters didn't take my insurance so to cut costs they offered to use my frames and put new lenses in them. I agreed and had them work up a price. Almost $300? That's a joke right? Nope, dead serious. Funny, I had an eye exam and the glasses that I have now for around the same price as they quoted me just for the lens change. I remember that a friend mentioned that he purchased all of his glasses on line so I looked. Hmmmm $60. TRASH- Only bright part was they were nice. Went for a contacts exam was quoted $85 with my insurance, by sheila i think, over the phone. Get to the location check in ,standard procedures. Go and take the exam the doctor was nice and knowledgeable. I go to pay and here is the issue , the total came out to $200+ dollars. I informed them of the quoted price and he said they would have to charge me. I asked what they would do if i only had brought the $85 quoted and a RUDE blonde female employee who should have shut up and had no business in the conversation said "you would just have to pay it " shitty customer service if you ask me . Then i was told that they should have told me 4 times. I asked them "then why wasnt i told those 4 times that i should have been". They were at a lose for words. It seems they like to try and place all the blame on the patient when their "professional" screws up. Dylan helped exponentially in the situation by his calm demeanor and active solution finding. Eventually after 15 minute the doctor finished he exam and came out to correct the price to $132. It helped but its $47 more than quoted and if i had known i would have just gone somewhere else. Forsure next time ill go to costco or some other exam clinic. My advice if you like to know the real cost before you go somewhere DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY WILL SWINDLE YOU. read more

This review is for the Eye Doctors there- not glasses and LensCrafters. Dr. Lin and staff deserve 5 stars. Dr. Miller deserves no stars because he was being an intentional jerk. I found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Lin for my eye exam and contact lens fitting and she was great- a real straight shooter, a good listener, dry humor and very patient. I liked her a lot. I went back today for my contact lens fitting check (I wore them for a week before we were to finalize the new prescription). I thought I was seeing Dr. Lin again, but it turned out they'd scheduled me with Dr. Miller instead. I had seen his reviews and people seemed to like him, so I thought nothing of it. After being seated outside the door to the room he was in with another patient, I heard him and noticed a strange way of speaking to her. She was asking questions and it seemed he was trying to rush her. At one point she said "so are you suggesting..," He cut her off mid sentence and said to her "I'm not suggesting anything. Did I say that?" I thought that was very rude. He also was referring to himself in the third person like: "you'll be thinking 'Dr. Miller was right'" and "but you know Doctor Miller will see that and xxxxxx". So I was feeling a little apprehensive already. When he was ready for me he was friendly and shook my hand. He looked over my chart and said "So what are we doing here?" I briefly shared how I felt about the new contacts, what was good and what was bad, and how my needing to move to bifocals was creating some new decision making for me. I told him that I had agreed with Dr. Lin not to look at the strength of the sample pair when I put them in for my trial period, so I wouldn't make any presumptions or judgements (my words, not hers) and just see how they felt and worked out for a week. He literally rolled his eyes up and shook his head with a dismissive snicker. Then he snarked that since she was 'playing games' with me, I should probably see her, not him. Soooo weird! I told him specifically that I didn't feel like she was playing games *at all*, that I agreed to it and I thought it was smart. and that I really liked her. His response was "OK, whatever." Really??? When I told him that I was seeing long distance better with my trial contacts, but things up close were blurrier, he made some snotty comments about since I was nearsighted I should be able to figure out what that was. "A stronger prescription means you see better far away and not so well close-up. Weaker prescription means your vision is not so good far-off, and is better close-up. It's not that hard to figure out. If you're nearsighted and you know you're nearsighted...c'mon. (insert snicker) You're smarter than that!" Well duhhh. That's why I was TRYING to discuss this with him, as well as using multi-focals instead. He said the cost was about twice as much as regular lenses (which is what I thought based on previous discussions with my Dr. years ago), and was trying to avoid. So we agreed I should wear this pair for one more week and come back and see Dr. Lin next weekend. Then he said he was going to dilate my eyes, and I told him I wasn't going to be dilated because I'd had a reaction to drops before. He looked at my chart again and saw Dr. Lin's notes about this. Then he said "Oh c'mon! WHAT reaction? People think they have reactions all the time". I told him I'd felt nauseous and faint seconds after the drops hit my eyes. The Doctor I was with at the time had taken it quite seriously, and had me lay down. She had told me to avoid them in the future, and I had. Dr. Miller said "That was probably from the numbing agent, have you had a kid? Are you allergic to morphine or pain killers? You're just so sensitive." Whaaaa? I told him I never said I was *allergic* to the eye drops, I said I had a *reaction* to them, and I don't know why. maybe it was dye. Who knows. And that Doctor seeing me told me NOT to use them in the future. I was getting really mad now, so I said "Why are you gunning for me? What is this? I just met you and you're giving me crap!" He said "No, no, it's just that you have to make a choice, so that's up to you. See you ARE so sensitive!" (insert another snicker) He then said that they can do air puff tests in lieu of dilation. I told him that his staff actually did the air puff test on my first visit. In his best Beavis and Butthead tone, eyebrows up: "I KNOWW that, it's MYY business." I was waiting for him to put his hand on his hip, snap his fingers and do chicken neck like a 16 year old gum-snapping girl. OMG. Doctor Miller, I met you five minutes ago, and you sir, are a first class weenie. That was it. I said "Okie Dokie, Thanks a bunch!" I stood up, grabbed my purse and started to the door. He started (I think) to try and reset the vibe, but I was clearly done. See Doctor Lin. She is great. If you see Dr. Miller, better hope his panties aren't in a bunch. read more

My family and I always get our eye exam and glasses here. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. Especially my visit in December 2015. I was beyond impressed with how helpful Christina was with me. She took her time to explain all my options. Usually when I go in for my new pair, the sales person tells me how great insurance we have and that I need to get this and that , BUT not really explaining why I need it except that I should just get it since my insurance covers it. But the only reason I am not giving a 5 star is I had to go back and have my new glasses changed to my previous prescription. And with that came a lot of miscommunication. I don't know all the lingo they use and I had to keep getting my prescription changed. I eventually did get the correct prescription, but I felt as if I was the bad person for not knowing the correct terminology. read more

Today I asked them if they could give me a 1 contact lens for my right eye and without any hesitation the girl on the phone said NO. I am not able to order replacement lenses today because I'm not sure I want to stay in the same brand.
