Any problems with your prescription is resolved in the most efficient and polite manner, as the "customer is always right". LensCrafters seems to have the latest digital technology to examine your vision. For a regular visit it is much better than going to the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. read more

I i got my eyeglass prescription renewed today but wasn't pleased with the frames selection. I drove across town but it was totally worth it! I was immediately greeted and helped to the women's selection of frames. I knew what designer and ideal frame I was looking for so choosing didn't take much time. I was shown the selection of lens upgrades & given recommendations based on my intended use. My insurance wasn't in their network so I got apprehensive about the additional charges. Buuuuut the wonderful technician knowing I needed "no glare" during computer work for next semester helped me with a coupon at checkout! The cherry on top was 1 HOUR PICKUP in comparison to the 7-10 business day pickup with the other place. I am so happy I came here & would recommend them to anyone. read more

Located at International Mall- we were surprised that this location had good availability on Sunday so we decided to give it a try. We walk in and try to figure out where to go- thinking the front desk person may be able to direct us, when we wanted to ask her she was with another customer- for 20 minutes- even when we told her we just wanted to know where to go! Great start! Found the area on our own for the eye exams, they get behind their appts. My apt was supposed to be at 12:30, we were there for was for eye exams. I was finally finished at 1:45. The "waiting area" is cramped but you can sit in the main lobby and wait. It just takes a while to be soon because I think they overbook and allow walk ins. I do appreciate the optometrist, she knew what she was doing. Our eyes were tested, and she gave me some advice on how to better wear my glasses. For that alone I'm giving this place three stars. Just don't come if your in a hurry! read more

getting my glasses from this lenscrafters location for over 10 years. I have tried others but there is nothing like getting your new glasses right away. Due to the type of personal one on one service the reps focus on you and the business at hand while acknowledging the walk-ins but not braking focus on your turn. You might need to wait 20 25 min but it is worth it when its your turn. The best part they have in house vision and although I mostly pay out of pocket my new insurance is par now so yeah!! Had two pairs of eye glasses made there. One was done right away and had to wait for the other much longer than expected. When they finally arrived they were wrong. So they were sent off again to get redone! Mind you that it took them 3 tries to get the correct prescription on the lenses. Yes everyone there was nice and cordial but I am sorry it should not take that long to get glasses done right! read more

Came here for an eye exam when my previous exam exceeded two years, and couldn't be happier with the experience. Made an appointment quickly by phone and there's ample free parking, since this is at International Mall. Dr Casas and her cute assistant took the time to explain each step of the exam to me, and I was in and out (with eye drops) in less than an hour. Cost of the exam is $105, with a ten dollar discount for AAA members. This is a well run business and it shows. read more

Never have I had the pleasure of being helped by such caring and knowledgable individuals. From the doctors office to the LensCrafters staff every single one was spectacular. Dr Casas is by far the best optometrist I've ever been seen by. Her staff is always friendly and attentive. She's been practicing at this location for 20+ years so she must be doing something right. If you need quality eyewear and quickly there's no other place to go. First of all everyone that works there knows what they're talking about. Lots of the associates are licensed opticians and are quite experienced. They have digital picture system to take your measurements that I haven't seen anywhere else. You get your glasses quick and they always come out with superb quality. If not, they are quick to resolve the issue and it seems they just wanna make sure you love your glasses. "SYSTEM DOWN DUE TO HOLIDAYS" This location is Horrible just horrible. I guess thier system is always down! Today I went in to order a pair of sunglass and manager Rebecca was there, she just didn't step in as manager to solve the issue we were having and kept a newbie Christian to take care of the transaction. 1st after processing it something happened where we are being charged full amount after being quoted , he told us he has to void and do over... this was taking 2 hours and kept saying "oh it's the holidays, so system to process with insurance is slow" lame excuse like so everyone is getting eyewear at the same time with our insurance company? Then, when we tried to pay our portion, it still didn't work and thier excuse "it's the holidays" ?! Umm so system doesn't work cause of the holidays and even your payment system! how are they even linked ? We had a coupon, I understand it was expired, Christian did try to see if any coupon could of been applied since we had so much trouble to get things processed, even asked manager but rebecca was so busy to close the store and did not want to acknowledge us and said No she doesn't have anything. Like, after 2 hours you could of given your employee discount or tried to help ! At the end after trying to charge our card twice for remaining balance thier "system was down due to the holidays" and could not process our order . Waste of time! We asked to put the order in atleast and since system is down we will pay when we pick up but nope that cant be done either. Manager Rebecca on was duty pointless in getting customer satisfaction. Terrible customer service, waited 45 min after my appointment to be seen when asked the girls in the front desk they just ignored me while they kept their personal conversation. Been going to other lenscrafters for the past 6 years, but first time at this location, will never come back! To do my eye exam here. 03/24/2018 decided to give it another try and this time took my mom, TERRIBLE!!! This place gives lenscrafters a horrible rep! The girls in the front looked like they didn't wanna be there everybody was standing around not doing anything, would never ever ever go back here! Do yourself a favor and run away! read more

I have been going to Lens Crafters for years for myself and my children. The optometry inside called Dr. Casas & Associates was absolutely horrible. I had an appointment for 3:00pm arrived 15 minutes prior and waited to see the doctor until approximately 5:10pm, used their restroom for two minutes, had told the associate and she let another patient go before me which I was waiting for over two hours. Asked if there were a manager and was told there is none. Horrible experience, inconsiderate staff. When I finally saw the doctor, she barely spoke English and seemed blind! Never again will I go to this wretched place. In lens crafters when you go to order your glasses they add on insurance and extra things that you do not need, make sure to ask which charges are optional. Not sure what happened to this location, when I never had an issue before but it is very poorly ran. Customer service is horrible and then to try to lie and not be truthful to your customers is awful. *update* was called to schedule checking my contacts and told an entirely different time than what they scheduled me for, this is childish, immature and unprofessional. Guess the receptionist isn't that smart since their system sends out a confirmation for the wrong date/time and they wasted their own company's time and an appointment that would have generated revenue with another customer since obviously I did not return. read more

Do NOT take children!! I've been here before for myself so called to see if they saw children, as my 7 yr old was having blurry vision from far away and was leaving to go back to Mexico the next day. Felt it was important to get her an eye exam before we left the country. They said they did see children so I scheduled appointment for 11:40am. I arrived early and waited until about 12:05pm to be seen. They proceeded to take us to a dark room where several eye machines were located. I asked the lady (who had been sitting at the receptionist desk and was now going to do the tests) if she was the doctor and she said "no". My daughter was nervous about doing the tests and the lady had no patience with her and didn't do a good job of explaining what she had to do. My daughter refused to do the test on the machine that blows air into your eyes and I asked the lady if the eye doctor could just use the results from the other tests she did and just give her an eye exam. The lady said, "no, without all the machine tests the doctor could not see her". Only about 14 minutes had passed while in the room and the doctor opens the door now, saying there was another patient waiting, as if we were taking too long. The other lady then says that the machines were for adults and they weren't equipped to deal with children and escorts us out of the room and recommended I go see a pediatric optometrist and writes down his name and number. I now again ask the dr (Dr Jimenez) if my daughter could just be given an eye exam and explain we are leaving the country in the morning and she said "no, not without all the machine tests". We start to walk away but my daughter says she will go ahead and do the test on that machine. I come back into the store and tell them she will go ahead and do the test, it's 12:20pm at this point and they say they don't have the time now. I said we literally walked out the door and came back in and I had an appointment. They both said they were booked until the late afternoon. There was nobody waiting, no patients sitting in chairs, so I said that there was nobody there. They said there was someone in the dark room now and then at 1pm Dr Jimenez had to have lunch. I pleaded for them to make an exception for a child, to finish seeing my daughter, especially since we were leaving out of the country the next day. They flat out refused. My daughter started crying and they then started to tell her that they really couldn't see her now because of her tears and crying. I want to say that I have never encountered such heartless and selfish staff as Dr.Jimenez and the lady at this LensCrafters. They cared more about their lunch and pushing people out the door then helping a child. Horrible!!! read more

I would only recommend going here if you would like to be scammed out of your money. We ordered two pairs of glasses with the best lenses and coatings they have for my wife and the lady that helped us was very professional, took all the measurements but then I saw in the screen there was this $30+ charge for "protection plan". I said we were not interested. She said she would remove it then took my wife's credit card, walked over to the counter and charged it for the whole amount anyway, including the said plan. I only noticed it after checking the receipt so I demanded they refunded us. She claimed "the system added it automatically and she could not remove it". After a whole song-and-dance, a couple of different reps, getting the refund took 1h45 minutes and had to involved the manager and calling the credit card company. What bothered me the most was that through the whole thing, not for a moment I felt they were sorry for the inconvenience. They were looking at us like we were inconveniencing *them*. Well that was a year ago. A completely avoidable issue, an unnecessary ordeal but I thought, perhaps it was an honest mistake. That until yesterday I was there waiting to see the optometrist, which is independent but also an adept to scamming people out of their money as I found out (material for a separate review), perhaps they are owned by the same person. Then and there I saw the very same lady that helped us, doing the very same routine with another unsuspecting customer. It never ceases to amaze me how low can people go to make a buck. It bothers me because you can tell these are mostly simple, hard-working people who in the stress of their daily lives might not go through the added effort of reading the receipts or checking the computer screen. Who knows, they may not even know enough English to read it as the system is conveniently in English-only while the majority of the customers is Spanish-speaking. Preying on your own people, shame on you! So my suggestion, avoid if you can but I can see that may prove difficult since there aren't many options in Doral. But even if you drive 15 miles to get there, you might just save enough of your hard earned money to make it worth it. read more

I ordered prescription sunglasses (Ray-Ban), but the model I wanted wasn't in stock since it was a discontinued item. They did say they would try to find it and special order it. It took a month until I got them because of the situation. A month seems long, but I really wanted that model and was willing to wait for them. Plus, they were trying hard to find it. Every time I've spoken to someone from the staff, they were really courteous and helpful from beginning to end. The store is a bit small and doesn't have a lot of glasses on display, but their website shows a variety of frames. They also have an optometrist in the same location if you want to get an eye exam. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I'm happy with my sunglasses. :) read more

This morning stopped at Lenscrafters to get my new prescription for reading glasses. Love going here because the service is always fast and professional. The specialist helped me to choose some decent, funky frames. I've been getting my glasses here over the past several years and it is consistent. The staff is very customer service-oriented. I didn't like that fact that the guy charged me the highest price for lenses and didn't ask what I want . When I made him aware that my friend only paid $40 he started offering me other options. I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff. They treated me like I was a problem to deal with. I received an eye exam, explicitly and specifically stating it was for reading glasses. The glasses they made were blurry and gave me a headache. When I complained, I saw the eye doctor the next day and she lectured me and talked to me like it was my fault, saying that the prescription wasn't supposed to be for reading glasses but rather bifocals. I've been completely loyal to lens crafters , but after my experience with Dr. Casas and staff I will try someplace else. Service was horrible Dr. Casa's was terrible so unpleasant to deal with , its almost like she was mad because she had to give me an eye exam . Unprofessional like no other , I was over charged and they had to give me a refund . ( Thankfully I was paying attention ) If not they would of robbed me blind . When they quoted me on contacts , they quoted me almost double the price that contacts actually cost and I refused to purchase them. They supposedly ordered my sample contacts in order for me to try them out , but that never happened . Its been almost three week's since and not a word back from them . This was the closest lens crafters from my job , I know I cant stop everyone from going but I sent a staff email to everyone at my job and I'm certain they will not be going to lens crafters anytime soon. I don't know how lens crafters allows someone like this to be the face of there business at any location, poor monitoring I guess ...... I just went to another place ( not lens crafters ) and my experience was great , I'm not even mad that I had to pay for another exam someplace else , the service was so bad that I'd rather lose money than go back ...
