Today I went into LensCrafters, (where i've been going for glasses and exams for years) and received great service eye exam wise. But when I came back in after my exam with my partner I was not greeted nor helped for 10 minutes. After standing at the desk I was told to just be patient.. even though I didn't even say anything. After that I looked around at some frames and then returned to the desk where the associate said he was going on lunch so... After that a woman came in smelling particularly strong of weed and my partner and I were looked at and even heard comments that they thought it was us. My 7 year old son had his first day of school today, and of course his glasses lost a screw and completely fell apart. We couldn't find the missing piece and were in a bit of a panic. We rushed to LensCrafters in Peachtree City, and were immediately helped by Stephanie. She was incredibly kind, prompt, and understanding. Without hesitation, she fixed my son's glasses on the spot, checked and tightened the other side, and even polished them up. It took just a few minutes, but her helpfulness made a big difference on a stressful day. We're so grateful for her quick support and genuine care. I bought new glasses this past April. The coating was coming off so I went back to the store. Sorry, they said since they only have a 30 day warranty on their products. This was my first time purchasing at this store. It's a shame they don't stand behind their products. Other companies would bye my previous experiences. I wrote to the manager of the store with no answer... Shame on this store for not standing by the products that they sell. Plus, the store manager doesn't give a crap about customer service. I just had a great experience at the LensCrafters in Peachtree city! I took some glasses in that needed to have the nose piece replaced. Omar quickly helped me and replaced both nose pieces on the glasses and did it free of charge. He was pleasant and engaging to talk to and the repair was quick. read more

I've had good luck with the Peachtree City location compared to others on here. It took 2 weeks to get your lenses? Well yeah, they aren't made right there. Ridiculous comment. I highly recommend their eye exam. This is the first place that got it right 2 times now. I've been wearing glasses for 50 years. Yes the frames are overpriced because most have the designer logo etc on them, but do what I did. Bought frames from Walmart for 45.00 they sent them out and installed my bifocal lenses. Correctly. I had an issue with a pair of prescription sunglasses involving the rubber/plastic covers on the side-stems coming apart. I was not able to find an adequate replacement on Amazon, so I stopped by Lenscrafters one evening around 7 p.m. to see if they sold anything comparable. The technician who helped me understood what I needed and they apparently had a small box of them. They were running low on the particular size, though. Installing these involved heat-shrinking them onto the stems, which was interesting to watch. After a few minutes of effort, he had fixed both stems. I asked what the charge was, and was told it was free! I was pleasantly surprised; I thought it would at least be a few dollars. I'll definitely be back to this Lenscrafters after this experience. read more

I don't really do reviews unless they are really really good or really really bad. In this case this office is so disrespectful it's not worth the visit. I read the bad reviews and figured I would sneak in just to get a prescription for my contacts. Nope!! I didn't like the brand they recommended and wanted to go back to my old brand. That was a problem for them as I was told I had to wear what the doctor chose. I knew that wasn't true and waited until my follow up exam because I did not want to argue. At the follow up after talking to the doctor he told her to get the contacts I requested. I was told one eye had to be ordered. Ok fine I'll wait. After a week I call and was told they were on back order. Another week later I call ask about my acuvue contacts and with an attitude told I just have to wait. Called again after much attitude from the manager was told the notes say I wanted the B&L contacts the ones I did NOT want....who has time for this!! And when I told her I asked for the acuvue over and over again she just kept talking about the notes. If you don't like to go back and forth with people don't go here. You will not get in and out no matter how simple your appointment is. read more

I understand that the whole Corona Virus has everyone still trying to get back in the swing of things, but if the doctor is going to be an hour late into the office it would be common curtesy to call the patients before they made a drive out here. After asking if I could be seen once the doctor arrives I was told to wait around until their arrival just to see if he could squeeze me in. Not only that, I tried to call them to double check the appointment was all set to go and after 5 unanswered attempts, walking in to employees sitting around drinking coffee and chit chatting was unacceptable. What is the point of having appointments if the doctor can null and void them without the common curtesy of a phone call. read more

Run in the other direction, don't just walk. This place has only one employee, Toffee, that is kind. The others are rude and down right nasty. They have so many hidden fees, a routine eye exam for glasses and contacts, may run a few hundred dollars WITH insurance. To top it off, they take advantage of new contract wearers, which have no clue that certain services should be included as part of your service and not have an extra fee attached. I could see if the fees were the same for all LensCrafters, but they're not. I called seven other stores and the fees were isolated to this one location. This particular store tacks on fees as they go. When you bring to their attention that what they're staying and what the contract states are two different things, their only response is, no one has ever told them that. They lack accountability and follow-through. The worst experience I've ever had in beautiful Peachtree City. read more

I took my mother, the receptionist was as rude as hell. Tried to give her my mother's cataract info twice, she kept saying she had the info. When I asked her how, she replied I looked it up, again I asked how she said she looked it up by her name and birthday. After filling out the paperwork she comes back and asked about her cataracts. I had tried twice to give it to her. The blond receptionist acted like we were trash and talking to us was beneath her. My husband needs a check up. I will not use them again. I will try Fayetteville next time. My money is as green as everyone else. I really enjoy shopping in Peachtree City. This is the first time I was ever treated like this. Here I was praising how everyone is so nice here to my Mom and then we're treated this way. read more

I came into the store to tighten my glasses. They were very quick to help me and had a friendly staff. However, they were careless while popping out my lenses and broke the frame of my glasses. They offered to find a replacement pair to fit the lenses, and proceeded to provide the ugliest replacement pair possible (patterned print with pointed ends that are far to large for my face). It would have been nice to have a choice of the glasses going considering they were broken by the staffs carelessness. Instead, I am having to wear the replacement glasses until a new pair comes in. I have worn glasses ever since I was diagnosed with eye cancer at age 5. I ended up loosing my left eye to Cancer but my life, and right eye, was saved. I've worn glasses to help with protection & vision in my right eye. I love stylish glasses. I am 34 years old and have shopped, exclusively at LensCrafters, as long as I can remember. I was diagnosed with astigmatism in 2007 (@ LensCrafters). In 2012 a LensCrafters opthamologist missed the astigmatism, even though it was in my chart, and over-corrected my vision. It took months to get use to the strength of the new prescription. I went back in several times to the store. In 2014, I had another eye exam at the same LensCrafters. This opthamologist said my (then) current prescription was much too strong and there was no correction for the astigmatism. He wrote me a new prescription. LensCrafters offered to correct THEIR mistake and charge me $342 to do so. I only need 1 lense, when I explained that to the manager she said she would give me the 50% off lenses discount being currently offered, which is like getting one lense free. But I don't need two lenses. I need one. My left eye is a prosthetic. I now have a pair of Coach eye glasses, I paid nearly $800 for that are completely unusable. Apparently, it is LensCrafters policy to take advantage of, to, steal from and discriminate against their customers. read more

Terrible customer service. We were charged 80% more than the price quoted when we made the appointment. We only used this office because of the price they quoted on the phone. The manager said it must have been a miscommunication but she expected us to pay the full price even though we were misled. She refused to meet in the middle on the price. She said the doctors "won't let them issue refunds." Stay far...far away. read more

First, I had to stand around in the lobby and just wait and wait for someone to assist me -all four of the people working made eye contact with me, but not a single one acknowledged my presence. Finally, after at least five minutes, a woman came up to help. I wanted to order contact lenses, so she looked in the computer and said my prescription was going to expire in 8 days. So she had to ask some guy (her manager I assume), if it was okay to reorder more for me. He didn't even take the time to look at me and just said no, I would have to get another eye exam from the in house Doctor. Never mind my prescription is still valid, and it hasn't changed in literally 20 years. So I asked for a copy of my still valid scrip and left the store. When I asked for a copy, the sales associate got really rude. Their whole racket is trying to get you to spend more and more money. Also, I took my 12 yearoldson here for an eye exam and the Dr. referred him to a specialist because she said he had "something on his eye". The specialist charged me six hundred dollars to tell me he had no idea what the other Dr was talking about. So, that's the last straw for me with this place. My first visit to this location ended very badly. The doctor was EXTREMELY rude and insisted I put in a trial pair on contacts opposite of what I usually wear (I know which eye is better than the other). I went back for a follow-up visit because the contact prescription and the glasses I ordered were so far off from the correct prescription, I couldn't get my eyes to focus and they made me sick to look through. Good news though! The doctor side was purchased by a husband and wife who are so nice and know what they're doing. The new doctor decided to redo the exam, since the last one was so far off, and I can now see again. Lenscrafters serves a very specific function in my family - it's where you go to overpay for glasses in an emergency, like when you (or your child) managed to break or lose a pair that will prevent you from going to work or school. I understand that and I pay the surcharge for my own poor planning when it occurs, which it does from time to time. However, with these extremely premium prices should come a higher quality of service. The eye doctor wrote my (fairly weak, long unchanged) prescription for 1 year instead of 2 so I'd have to come back in sooner for another overpriced exam. My $700 Michael Kors glasses got a crack in them within the week despite my delicate handling of them and they told me I was out of luck without having purchased the replacement plan. Finally I bought my child the one year guarantee at a fairly high price and when I returned to exchange his broken pair, the previously unmentioned "deductible" on the replacement plan was higher than a whole new pair of glasses at Walmart, which is where we now purchase our glasses. If you need glasses quickly, this is your only choice. If you can make do with duct tape or glue or just holding things really close to your face for awhile, go somewhere else and wait the week. You'll save hundreds of dollars and end up with the same product. read more

I went in for an adjustment under warranty and two days later have a broken pair of glasses. Annie Leeks adjusted them so tight they snapped at the lens when I tried to close them to put them in the case. Annie was rude, and gave me a lot of inaccurate information. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The woman who performed was extremely rude and condescending. I told her that I needed help getting my left eye contact in and she refused to help me. I've always struggled with the left contact because of how big it is due to poor vision. She asked what my previous eye prescription was and I told her that I wasn't sure and she said "what do you know?". The receptionist was rude as well. I wish I could say I had a good experience on the LensCrafters side but the woman who first helped me with ordering my frames was kind and professional but mistakenly ordered the wrong ones. A different woman was there when I when I went and discovered the wrong frames. She then proceeded to try to pop out my lenses from the frames using her hands, and no tools. She said she could get them out and put them in the display frames that customers try on. I told her to stop and that I wanted brand new frames that I paid for and I was concerned with how she was trying to pry the lenses from the frames. The individual that was rude is "ASHLEY". The reason we did not purchase the glasses from the LensCrafters in Peachtree City was due to horrible customer service.
