Yea.. I'm not sure why this place got bad reviews but our experience was great! I walked in a week prior to look for a new eye doctor to schedule our exam. The gentlemen up front were busy with other clients but acknowledge me. Once one was free answered some questions about my plan and guided me to receptionist to schedule my appointment. The receptionist got us in within a week. Dr. Yu and his staff were amazing! No one treated us like a number or rushed us. All our questions/concerns were addressed without complaint. It wasn't a this is how is situation like I have experienced at other locations. Dr. Yu staff assisted in getting ordering my contacts with ease. There we 3 so I'm so sorry I don't remember y'all's names, all of you were helpful and professional, especially with how busy it was that morning. Cameron ( I hope so spelled his name right) helped us with our fame and lens selection. Granted we looked around and asked a lot of questions. Even though he was helping others in the store he still checked on us. Granted this location can get busy, but I think some people's expectations are a little over kill. This is a solid location. Great Dr! Great staff! Willing to work with you if they can. Price wise it is LensCrafters lol it's not Walmart or Sam's Club locations. I found they have options for most budgets but tailor to the mid- to higher up brands. The location is small but they have a good selection in store. I was trying to get a pair of glasses fixed, since they were still covered by manufacturer warranty. First I was told to go online, and find the instructions on how to return the glasses. The Luxottica website says to "simply" return the glasses to LC. I returned to the shop and I was told that I couldn't drop the glasses for the return because the manager was there. The manager is there only 1 or 2 time a week and I was supposed to call and check if the manager was there. I asked to be called back by the manager, Keyla, but no calls after 2 weeks. LensCrafters became a joke. Go to smaller shops where they really care about your business. read more

The LensCrafters business has severely declined in quality and customer service. I went to the Forum location and the employees, two black males, would not help me adjust my glasses. They refused to help me. I had gone to the store the evening before, and the posted store hours on the door were until 8 PM. I was at the store at 7:30 PM and it was already closed. I asked the employees what time the store closes and they said that they had closed at 7:30. They closed the store when they wanted to. They were very unprofessional and rude. I went to Darby Parker and they were very helpful and assisted me with my glasses. I would recommend Darby Parker for all eyeglass needs in the Peachtree Corners location. LensCrafters Management please be aware that the hired staff at this store location would not help me with my eyeglass needs. Recommend additional training to inform the employees that an eyeglass store helps customers with eyeglasses. read more

We used to love going here but it's been a downhill slide of customer service and concern for the patient for the last 2 years. The Doctors in the back- which are separate from the store, are great, but their front desk receptionist is less than personable and could care less about your well-being. Visited on March 4 2020 @7:45. Service was wonderful. The man that helped us, I felt like went above and beyond. He even pointed out the clearance items which I thought was very thoughtful. He also gave us some space so I didn't feel like he was bugging us. He also had some great recommendations and let us in on the current discounts. Overall, I had a great time. Now we were only buying frames so I have no idea how the doctor and how that works but i am overall satisfied. One thing I wanted to mention was this location did NOT include Gucci frames. It did include brands like: Versace, Tiffany, Burberry, Ray Ban, Coach, Michael Kors, and a few more. The selection was decent. Let's start with the good things. Great location in the forum. Great selection of designer eyeglass and sunglass frames. Take most insurance coverages. Very big on covid precautions. Bad. Accosted at the door by the male representative asking to see my prescription before I could enter. I normally would give such an afront a sharp retort but I was so taken aback I actually found my prescription on my phone and showed it to him. To my surprise, he then asks when the prescription was dated? "Two weeks ago?" Only then did the man let me enter the sacred space that is LensCrafters. Now I understand people come in to try things on and buy online. But I'm the type of person to pay more to support local businesses - I'm their ideal customer! But service like that isn't going to get my business - just a very pointed review to warn others that this is not the place to get your pupils taken care of. read more

My appointment was at 10:30 AM today, do you know what time they finally called me up to come and get my appointment while sitting there? Well, it was at 11:10 AM. Do you wanna know why? Because, they take walk-in appointments meaning that others can come in and get ahead of you and they will disrupt your time that you made an effort for to set an appointment. First off, this store is not actually on Pleasant Hill Road, but is inside Gwinnett Place Mall. That little piece of information would have saved me at least 30 minutes of driving around! I honestly did not care so much for the customer service inside this Lenscrafters. The folks there don't particularly seem like they want to help you find glasses - rather it is more DIY. No, my four-star review is for the optometrist's office, which was incredible. I don't remember the name of the doctor, but my wife and I both agreed that he was the most polite and well-mannered eye doctor we had ever experienced. I mean, a total gentlemean. Make an appointment today and relish the opportunity of dealing with a total professional. P.S. If you have EyeMed insurance, you are set. And the pricing of their contacts are high. The front desk girl was snappy and was not the friendly when trying to get a breakdown of the costs. I just moved out of state so I called the lenscrafter in new york from last year and they were so friendly and their price was over $200 lower!... I went into this business because they had a Ray Ban frame I wanted to see in person. The sales reps. barely spoke and gave us 0 customer service. I was treated as if I should not be there. I had to chase them down to get service, however when an older white lady came in , she was immediately assisted. I had questions about lenses and the price of a package including the frames and to get answers was like pulling teeth. No worries, I will not spend my hard earned dollars with you. A Mom and her daughters showed up around 10:15 for a 10:15 and they were called back at 10:30 am so I asked the person who checked me in what was going on with my appointment and she tried to explain that there was an issue with my appointment in the system. The explanation was unintelligible but at the end of the day, it came from the person who checked me in and the fact that there was an issue with my appointment could have been explained when I checked in at 10am. Visited the LensCrafters store at the Fox Run Mall in Newington, NH. I selected a pair of Ray Ban frames with progressive lenses....when I was presented with a $773.00 estimate I declined and was offered a $377 price for the same exact configuration. 3 weeks later when they finally were ready, picked them up and the farmes split the very next day...returned them ....3 weeks later, when they were again ready , picked them up and the flimsy frames snapped in half again....I live 45 miles from the store and drove them down, again, to choose a different frame due to the design flaws in the frameless RayBans...after selecting a new frame, I was told that they could not simply use my eye exam, but needed to schedule another appointment for eye exam for them to make the lenses, I drove down AGAIN for the eye exam and was told that the store policy is not to put lenses into the frames that I chose . I demanded a refund in full and was jerked around by their manager, and referred to corporate who does not answer any phone calls...after 5 more calls to the store, was connected with a very rude ill-trained district manager ( who does not anser any calls either) and told that Corporate would need to cut a check to me and it would take up to twenty days for them to do so. She als asked me never to shop at Lens Crafters again. Poor service, poorer management and ill trained incompetent staff and an even poorer sales and return policy are reasons to give your business to any other optician. If you do decide to shop there, don't let them take advantage of you with their first cost estimate, as they clearly just try to gouge their customers with inflated pricing unless they complain.. When a Company HQ like Lenscrafters has to use a different name, provides no all numbers or email contact info, you have to presume that it is a deliberate effort to hide from many angry customers. read more

The Dr I saw on my last visit was very young . He made me nervous until he conducted my exam and explained everything to me. He was very professional and cool at the same time. Had an eye exam and ordered prescription sun glasses in advance of going on a cruise; informed the staff of the cruise, the date, and the need to receive the glasses in advance. Were never told there might be a problem, or that they could not deliver. Called earlier today to check on delivery, and was told there was a delivery later today at 4:30 pm, and if they were not in the 4:30 delivery "THEY WOULD BE ON THE DELIVERY TOMORROW," Saturday. Stopped by tonight, Friday, to check on the delivery, and was told they were not on the 4:30 pm delivery, that they were coming from Memphis, TN, via UPS, UPS does not deliver on Saturday, and they would be in on Monday. ALL NEWS TO US. Leaving for the cruise on Sunday, as we told them over a week ago when we paid for the exam and placed the order. I love Dr. Skeete he is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. Sadly to say since they have moved to their new location The Forum, the staff is BEYOND RUDE!!!! The only time I experienced good customer service is when Dr. Skeete answered the phone himself. Simple things such as making an appointment or requesting my prescription to be faxed over is like pulling teeth at the new location. Let's not forget where you came from!!! Dr. Skeet is great, but the associates are terrible. I received my frames a week later than the 7-10 days LensCrafters guaranteed, and I was never given notice or reason for the delay without hassling the associates for days. Secondly, they lock the doors prior to closing. I arrived at 7:45pm on a week day for an adjustment, and the store doors were locked. The lights were dimmed in the back, and no associates were present. My business is going back to the location on Holcomb Bridge. read more

Dr Skeete is an excellent optometrist and a very pleasant human being. He does a more thorough exam than the ophthalmologist I see from time to time and he is more sensitive to my lens needs. After my last visit with him the staff scheduled my next yearly exam. When I drove across town and went in for this exam, the staff had scheduled me with a different doctor. This was a huge waste of time and effort for me. There was no apology or offer to reschedule me for the next available appointment with Dr Skeete. I made my appointment days in advance for Saturday at 11:30am. I was told on the phone they can't find me in the system because I had never been there. I said I have never been to that location, because the last time I visited them they were at the Gwinnett Mall location. The girl on the phone sounded aggressive and finally confirmed my birthday was recorded incorrectly in their system...and that's why she could not find me...I made the appointment anyway.... I called that Saturday morning to ask if they could take me earlier. They said they are fully booked, but I am welcome to come in and it may work out they take me earlier, but no promises. I did show up early...around 10:30am. I filled out necessary paperwork and was one of the first patients there. I walked around the store and a nice lady helped me look at new glasses. I chose a pair and she said after I get my exam I could come back to her and purchase them. I went in for my pre exam routine around 11:30. I then sat in the waiting room until 12:25...I asked three times when they thought I might get my exam and they kept saying not too long you are the next one in line. 15 minutes would go by and I would ask again, and I nicely explained I am in the process of moving and needed to get this done, but can do it another day if it was going to be a bit longer...same answer and another bit of time went by...at 12:25 I asked again for someone to please give me a straight answer because at this point I was almost one hour after my appointment time and still no eye exam...people kept showing up and they kept taking them before me...please note that there was only one doctor on duty...Dr. Patel...and they opened at 10am...they sat me in the eye exam room and said you're up...I asked am I really up or am I going to sit in the eye exam room for a while waiting on the doctor? They said no no no look you're room is ready and you're next...I sat in the room for another ten minutes and no doctor....I left the room and approached the same people who gave me the "you're next answer for the last hour" and I said please give me a specific straight answer. Is the doctor performing an eye exam on another person right now? or is she ready to perform mine? They said she is performing another eye exam on someone else, but again you're next. I stated...so she'll be another thirty minutes or so with that person, then to me... is that right. and they said probably...I advised them that I was not happy at this point and that I had been asking for the last hour if this was going to take much longer and that I am happy to reschedule and they kept saying you're next...I guess to them you're next means another hour just deal with it...at this point I will never go back there again due to their lack of communication and poor customer service. Here is a tip to the staff at this location. Update the people sitting in front of you...update them if their expectations will not be met, and adjust their expectations...let them make a decision if this will work for them at that point in time, and don't let someone continue to ask the same question over and over and feed them a line and waste their time. I would have appreciated a straight answer, so I could make better use of my time...I sat and watched them joke around for an hour and go get coffee.When I was originally asked to sign the document for that days services I got zero explanation about what the extra charges were for...the answer was I don't know but it's just part of the exam...and if you don't pay then you can't get contacts....it was a $55 contact fitting charge and I asked what that entailed and was it optional? because based on the sound of it I know how to put contacts in my eyes and I would have opted out...the girl said I don't know what it is but you have to pay it...kind of came down to just sign the paper or no service...so of course I signed the paper...but horrible explanation...might want to educate your staff on what they are charging people for...especially if you are going to line item the bill and hi light it as three different charges...maybe it's just me...but I want to know what the "extra charges are for". The fact that the associate could not answer a simple question like, what is that charge for? tells me they are not trained well. I recognized this was the same girl that made my appointment on the phone because I recognized her tone of voice.It was stated that I was being charged for the fitting since I had never had this done here before, so I advised I was a former patient at Gwinnett Mall store and I had done the contact fitting with them before...then I was told it does not matter I have to do it every time...very confusing...ultimately I left without receiving an eye exam and did not get the glasses I chose due to not receiving an eye exam...I would say this place is a joke and do not go here. My wife stopped by to have her glasses adjusted. She explained to Chris that our grandson had accidently hit her glasses (he is 6' 2" and 230 - but a great boy). Her frame was slightly misaligned. Chris adjusted the frame to straighten it out. However, the glasses were then too wide and fell off her face. She asked him to adjust it further and he refused. He just put the glasses down and said, I can't do more. We have never experienced this lack of service from LensCrafters in the past. I trust they can improve their customer service. I returned 2 weeks later to pick up my glasses, at which time the front desk attendant stated "here are your brand new glasses". As I left the store, I inspected the glasses which were dusty and had fingerprints all over the lens. In all the years I've been wearing glasses/contacts I have never had a doctor explain anything in so much detail for me and started wearing corrective vision in middle school! I ordered a simple prescription with Oakley frames. I picked out the frames in the store, but they told me they had to order the lenses from Oakley, and it would take ten days instead of the usual one hour. Well, it's 15 days later now and I'm still waiting. The salesperson said they had to order the frames and lenses when I called back after the ten days, and that it would be five more days. Why order frames when I had already picked them out in the store??? This is the worst experience I have had so far with Lenscrafters, and my family has bought at least five pairs there. Location asked for my spouse and my child's social security numbers. By law, unless someone has Medicaid, which we do not, a consumer does not have to disclose their social or their child's social security number, even the last four digits. They had my insurance card, with complete info, fully verifiable, blamed their software for "requiring" it, which is Luxotica Vision Care Portal. I'm certain if they had called the Luxotica help desk, Luxotica would've given them a dummy code to override it, but they did not. When I told them I was going to report the location, their male receptionist, Ivan, laughed at me, and the general attitude of the female store manager today was "don't care". So, for requiring the ss#'s, especially a child's, for not trying to speak to a practice manager, or calling Luxotica to see if they could help me, for not getting the doctor involved, and for laughing at me, Dr. Julius Skeete and LensCrafters lost a sale. read more

I went there woth a friend but this is my opinion. Tge reception or whatever he was was nice that day another time I went he wasn't. My friends went inside to adjust his glasses that he slept on. First off they owe free glasses fix to everyone just so they can have more business overall. The optician , I believe or whatever his title is, was all nice at first until my friend asks if he can adjust his glasses. The optician literally slammed his phone on the counter and hufffed. He then proceded to adjust the glasses while my friend try to make conversation. .... he was ignored! Second he got up and started texting which I don't mind but he ignore my friend's conversation. Third, when my friend asks him if he could adjust one side a little more he raised his voice a little saying put it on before he makes judgment. My friend was right though.
