Of course my frame was already out of warranty and I ended up having to get another pair. This frame alone costed me $350. Also when I asked for a copy of my contact lenses prescription, they refused to give it to me. Yes I know it's been 2 years since the eye exam but it is my right to have the prescription for myself just for references. They were afraid I might try to get contact lenses elsewhere for cheaper price, therefore refused to give me a copy. Again, it is my right to have a copy whether it's expired or not. After all, I paid for the services.

In addition, your actual eye issues may not be thoroughly evaluated. I went to this practice because I was experiencing an eye issue and needed a medical evaluation. I specifically explained that I did not need a new eyeglass prescription because I had already received one earlier this year and wanted my actual eye problem evaluated. Unfortunately, Dr. Ritterbusch did not really listen to my description of the issue, nor was any meaningful evaluation or diagnosis performed regarding the concern I came in for. Instead, the appointment mainly consisted of a routine eye exam and a new eyeglass prescription. I ended up having to pay for a completed unneeded glass prescription in addition to the medical exam copay. And my actual eye issue was never properly addressed. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this doctor or practice.

Just today i arrived for an annual vision exam and there was no one behind the counter. A nurse (only person in a uniform) sat down, and as I hadn't checked in, I got up and give this individual my name and appointment time. She asked if I had filled on any on-line forms. I said no. It was downhill from there. Finally she produced paper forms which I began to fill out. Each time I had a question, she became more irascible. I had one last question which I asked of another office person to avoid dealing with the nurse, and this miserable excuse for a public face of a business came over with her own interpretation of my question. Finally, I walked out without seeing any doctor. I will never return.

Today I had an appt scheduled (3 months ago) and as I sat in the waiting room for 50 minutes I watched as patients just arriving were taken in. An hour later I was finally called to have my eye dilated; the technician, literally held the dropper bottle of solution12 inches above my eye causing the solution to drip on my face. I called that to her attention and she said Oh, sorry that was new bottle and proceeded to do the same exact thing with the second drop. An hour and a half later I (finally) saw Dr. Ritterbusch, I told her about the wait time I experienced and her "excuse" was that they were privately owned and the scheduling was over booked. In other words, we jam the patients in and make as much money as possible without regard to peoples work schedules or the time they wait. If I was an hour and a half late for my appt, first I would be charged for it and then I would be told to reschedule. After 10 years of going to this place I am done.

I stopped in here because a pair of non-Warby sunnies were in bad bad shape and I was hoping they could at least do some basic adjustments for me. I wasn't sure if they would be they let me know that they can't assume any of the risk if they happen to break and then put me on a waitlist. Not only did I leave with glasses that finally fit my face, but they feel like brand new frames. I was waiting for them to charge me something but nope. I have been a patient of Dr. Bak for almost 10 years and I cannot say enough about what a…read morewonderful doctor he is. He is friendly, professional, and, most importantly, he takes his job as a medical professional seriously and always looks at the patient systematically. My brother-in-law had a rare corneal disorder that went undiagnosed for decades. He came to Dr. Bak for a routine eye exam and he identified the problem and referred him to a specialist. If it wasn't for Dr.Bak's intervention, he would most likely be blind by now. He is also up to speed on all the newest eye care products and technologies available. When my eyes started reacting badly to extended contact-lens wearing, he recommended a new type of contacts that radically improved my eye comfort. He prescribed eye drops for my mother in law that finally fixed her dry eye problems after her frustration trying 5 other brands with no success! There is a newspaper article hanging on the wall in Dr.Bak's office. Take the time to read it and you will understand just how great of a Doctor he really is. It's the story of how through a simple eye exam he diagnosed a brain tumor that many doctors had missed and probably saved the life of the patient involved. Anyway, the manager of the store helped me find what I thought was the right pair for me. I received them about a month later due to them coming from overseas. They came in, I wore them for a few days but decided to exchange for a different pair. The manager Grazel was again extremely helpful and patient in helping me find another pair that suited me. I must have been in there 6 or 7 different times either picking up the glasses, getting them fitted better, etc. Happy to add all is good now. New Glasses fit well and look great. Made a decision within minutes and they are awesome! Would have never in a million years found the pair myself! Their service extends beyond the initial transaction with their thoughtful follow up's to make sure all is perfect! I did have an issue with the lenses (no fault of their own) and they had the prescription lenses redone for me at no expense. Had to go back for sunglasses (prescription) because their service and selection is that good! Customer for life here!
