My buddy and i were desperate for a haircut. With a busy schedule i couldnt find the time to get one from my regular hometown barber. Thanks to our trusty yelp app we started looking for a spot when we arrived in Vegas. Up popped Leo's with a lot of great review. Place is located in a bust strip mall. As we walked in it was a bunch of cuban dudes cutting hair. The wait was supposed to be long as described by yelp reviewers, but to my surprise one barber was available right away within 3 min of waiting. My buddy took up his offer to cut his hair. As you know anyone new cutting hair has the high possibility of butchering up your style so we kept our fingers crossed. As i waited 5 min for the next available barber, out came an asian women from a private separated room, and asked if i was ready for a haircut. Mind you typically you only meet men at a barber shop, this was no Salon. I said screw it "Yah" In the end, she was wayyy more skilled beyond any male barber i had in the past. She used razors, clips and faded better than any barber i have had. She was fast yet detailed in ways that impressed me to where i wished she was in my hometown. When i stepped out my buddies hair was also looking great. His mid fade and trim were on point. She gave me her business card and it stated she was a master barber. I believe it. we each paid $18 for a haircut. ( flamingo salon was going to charge us $55 when i called). We scored a great haircut and location we can trust if we ever need on in vegas. As we were finished with our haircut the lobby was suddenly packed with more than 15 ppl waiting. We lucked out on not having to wait. She is better than my current barber. Awesome job. read more

Service was ok but not worth the $$ for a simple men's hair cut. Over priced for this establishment, will not be going back. If you going to charge that amount fix up the place and service the community with a better energy. read more

First, let me say Victor must be a mind-reader. He cut my hair the way I've been wanting it cut since I went really short almost a year ago. I really am happy with this experience! I'm always nervous about new barbers. I came into town to present at a conference, and I didn't have a chance to get to the barber shop to get my hair tightened up before I left Syracuse. So I decided to try to locate a barber when I got to Vegas. I'm a Black woman with a short cut--a little on the top and low on the sides and back. I told him how I wanted it, and he did his thing. He started on the sides and back, asking me if I wanted a "1 or 1 1/2." I had NO IDEA what he meant, so he did what a good barber should do--took off a little and then checked with me. He kept showing me the back with the hand mirror to make sure I was happy Then he started working on the top, and I was so nervous. I closed my eyes. Fast and efficient cuts. Friendly upbeat atmosphere. Great prices. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars and why I'm not going back is my hard part got moved too far to the middle of my head and it took months to fix. I'm assuming language barrier is the reason. I recommend them to a lot of people but I'm starting to get more picky with my hair and I don't want to risk my hard part moving again. read more

What Barber actually says he doesn't do Beards? I believe racist ones. Could be wrong but his attitude sucked as well. That's too bad. I tip Barbers as good or better than when at a Restaurant. Sucker. read more

Go see Celine! There are many talented barbers there so if you just do a walk in, you can't really go wrong from my personal experience. That said, my favorite barber there is Celine. Celine gave me a great cut which I absolutely love. She is very meticulous and is a seasoned barber. Shop charges $25 for a cut which is very reasonable as most shops in Vegas charge $35 and more. Go see Celine. read more

Mario hooked it up with a last min zero fade before going out on the LV strip. My usual barber moved to LA so it was a good change experience. He cut it too high and at first I was skeptical but it looks clean and my wife likes it which is all that matters. read more

I was in Vegas for an event and wanted to get cleaned up, but it was after 6pm and most of the barbershops were already closed. Google search said however that Leo Barber Shop was still open so I drove over. The Chinatown shopping center here is very busy so parking is a hassle, but the barbershop was indeed open with 2 barbers working. I forgot the name of my barber, but I wanted a 6/8 razor cut and my wait was only a couple of minutes. He used a straight razor to tighten up the edges and took care of everything I wanted. Really happy with my cut, just wishing the parking was better! read more

PRO:......Celine is a wonderful Barber and always does a 10+ job; she is highly recommended -- 5 star rating for her.....Prices are great.....Free parking.....Wait is not long...... clean and well lit CONS:...... the atmosphere / energy in the shop is dark and negative. While in town, looked at many Yelp reviews and settled on this gem. I booked an appointment with Leo himself. I walked in and immediately enjoyed the friendly "old school" barber shop environment and polite staff. Now on to the reason I was here. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my haircut and can be quite critical. Let me just say, this was THE BEST razor fade I've gotten in my life! A precision artist Leo is. What part of "please start at ear level and do not touch the beard" is so hard to understand? That is exactly what I told the lady and this is what she does. This is not the first time either. I am done going to this place! They are very unprofessional. They also do CASH ONLY. It's 2020 and people don't walk around with lunch money in their pockets like little kids. Came here for haircut and shave and was expecting a decent service however was left totally disappointed. One of the ladies there was available so I went with her (big mistake). She not only cut my hair incorrectly but while shaving scraped and looks like did not use new razor blade. read more

Garbage barber shop..don't come to this one if you want a nice haircut. I showed the barber a picture of how I wanted my haircut to be I came out looking NOTHING like the picture. First time going to this barber shop wasn't sure what the guy name but he was on the left side middle seat probably in his 30s. Asked him for a medium fade and half on top. He didn't even understand what a fade was all he said was half all around as I was telling him what I wanted he just started cutting... the line wasn't even straight one side was higher than the other. Leo I believe was the owner even told the guy I wanted a fade and still left without one. Everyone else seem to know what they were doing except him. I'm sure this place is very good just not my luck with that barber. read more

On November 17, 2019 I decided to go to Leo barber shop since a couple of friends asked me to try to this place where they used to go a while ago but they clear told me that a few new barber were on place already. I give myself the chance to try that different place ... what a mistake!!! Horrible!! The worst experience ever!! I even thinking that the guy was on training and I was his first client. He finish my hair in less than 15 minutes and was super aggressive against my head, not even said his name or has any name tag with him , no smile, no customer services at all and what I showed him on the photo that I brought is something different on what he did on my head. The worst part is when I had to go to the clinic the same day and a few day after since a virus made a terrible infection on my skull. The barber didn't use a new blander and this is really bad ... this must be a precaution number 1 for all the barbers. Please double check if you going to this barbershop. Check first who will do your head before sitting down on the chair. Good luck. read more

They were pretty busy and I didn't have an appointment so the usual guy points me over to the younger kid. He has to translate everything because this guy spoke little to no English. I asked for a tapered fade and he left it uneven and not blended at all. I could have done better at home with a couple mirrors and clippers. He likes to use a brush a lot and doesn't even notice his clippers aren't even taking anything off. I've seen him do simple stuff like shaved sides but this kid has no skill with the scissors or clippers. I got another hair cut a few blocks away to fix it and the lady had to take pictures and said it was really bad. Don't try this place unless you just need an easy lineup or a basic high fade. read more

So this is my 2nd time going in there. I only went the first time Cuz my other barber shop was closed and I desperately needed a fade. my 1st time I got cut by Gerardo. He's an older Hispanic dude w a sikk ass mustache (very jealous btw). Whenever I go to a new barber the only thing going thru my head is "please don't fuck my hair up..Please don't fuck my hair up" But in the end he did a good job w the fade n line up which is why I went back a 2nd time. But this time he was busy and i was on my way to a pool club interview so he asked if any barber was ok. Usually it's not but i had no time/choice. He directed me to the little asian lady in the back, Yaty. My walk to her was almost as dreadful as the walk of shame. So I sat in her chair and told her what I wanted, a bald fade n line up with a curved part in the front. She started w the part and as she was doing it my first reaction was "damn why did I ask her to do the part?!?" But when she finished the part w the clippers it came out super clean n nice. Her hands were steady and she definitely knew what she was doing. She finished me up with a razor line up and to be honest THIS IS ONE OF MY BEST HAIRCUTS EVER!! NO JOKE!! Who would have thought this little Vietnamese lady would throw down a clean ass bald fade n line up. I'm definitely going back to Yaty and if she's not there I'll have a lot of faith that the other barbers will do a good job. 2 for 2 at a barber shop is always a good sign!!! read more

Ok, I said I would never review this shop, ever. Not because they're bad. The opposite is true. This place is a gem. I've been coming here for over five years. I too, am from Southern California. I wasn't recommended here. I was desperate for a haircut. I don't do salons. I drove until I saw the words barber. The inside of this place is just buzzing. It's spacious and interesting. The owner was my first barber. I've tried several barbers since. I get the full barber treatment here. Recently, I noticed that Floyd Mayweather's training camp is located in the same plaza. I do recall driving around the rear of the plaza and noticing a RR Phantom. Thought it looked shady. Now I know who it belonged to. This barber shop is about five minutes down the street from the Wynn and Palazzo. I recommend a taxi or driving. It's too far to walk from the strip. I'm going to Vegas this weekend for the Mayweather/Marquez fight. I'll be visiting Gerardo's like any other Vegas trip. read more

Men what a waste of time. This guy at the right of the entrance is the one I got. He don't want to listen, he can't wait to finish and go to the next guy, I keep telling him what I wanted he keep cleaning, removing the cover, what a mess. I left and went to another shop to fix his mess. If it is your first time don't go you need to know someone there. Total mess and he don't clean after each customer. read more

They do take appointments, but I was fine getting a chair the 2x I went in as a walk in. Got my hair cut by Luis then by Leo the 2nd time pretty consistent cuts . If you're not to sure the the have a menu board by numbers a styles overhead to make it easy for them and you. I was done in less than 15 minutes . Mid fade is what I get not to hard to screw up. I docked one star for communication barrier, but like I said they have a picture menu board of styles to make it easier. Prices are on spot too. I'll be making this my normal spot to get a cut. read more

It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

It is turned up so high that you absolutely cannot have a conversation with anyone in there without screaming, which is something to keep in mind if you're looking to chat. We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

there is a place to have a nice haircut in las vegas. we called it Gold Coast barber shop and it is located in the North west corner of Flamingo rd. & valley view blvd. They cater International Clienteles. this place is Hidden it is inside the casino pass the guest elevator then turn left to the hallway, it is right by the security office and you will find Barber Bong and Barber Claude who are both professional and highly skilled on their trade, so if you want to try them. go ahead and you will not regret it beacause they are so skilled and popular with high reputation in this town.. you can read their review here in yelp, google, google map & TripAdvisor. I've been coming here for atleast 4 months, it's always busy in the morning, If you want to beat the traffic, you must make an appointment, otherwise you will be sitting until they are free. My first cut was from Gerardo, it was a good cut, classic fade, he definitely knows what he's doing, he may stop and go while he's cutting your hair due to him picking up phone calls from customers, but being the pro he is, I trusted him. Now I go to Frank because this guy is the coolest, he takes his time and has patience. Gerardo was off at one of the times I came in, and Frank happened to be free, that's how I got to meet him, now frank is my go to guy. A lot Spanish speaking in the shop from the barbers, but don't mind it, tell them what you want and they'll do it, as long as you have some reference. read more

Nestled in the midst of an Asian strip mall, Gerardo's is all Latino and representing all that is good about the barber shop. A steady flow of regulars bantering in Spanish about the state of Vegas and the world, Latin fusion music streaming, and huge Mariachis hanging from the ceiling...perfect. Marko gave me a straight blade shave that was like magic. He managed a two week beard with ease - like he was sculpting my face from a lump of clay. An excellent Vegas experience and easy access from the strip. If you're looking to chill or recover, get to Gerardo's for a cut or a straight blade shave the morning after (or the end of your night). They open early on Saturdays with a full crew (6 barbers) by 8 am. Excelente. read more

AWFUL and RUDE is how I describe our last experience here. All these barbers are only interested in money and not customer appreciation BUT I guess it's normal for them since that's how the business owner-Gerardo is with everyone also. I am so glad we found Barber Willy again, he was the only nice one at this shop but was let go due to some court drama with the owner. I was in Vegas over the 4th of July ,I found Gerardo's classic barber shop by accident. I was a little reluctant to stray away from the Mandalay Bay,to go to a Latino barber shop in china town. In the past I have spent up to $85.00 in fine salons for a men's hair cut. Gerardo's classic barber shop gave me the best haircut I have had in years,the stylists there are extremely artistic,and pay attention to the smallest detail. Look this place up on Yelp I'm staying at the Aria where a haircut is $85 and shave is $75. After reading reviews I decide to take a lift not far from the strip less then 3 miles. They know how to use the clippers and give a haircut and shave. I had Yeti she was fantastic, patient and meticulous with both the haircut and shave. Save ur money from a hotel/casino haircut and go here where the Lyft/Uber shave and haircut are still under $45 combined. Would recommend read more

I love this place and Marco is exceptional. He is precise and fast which is what I want in a barber. I'm the type who doesn't like to talk during my cuts and he obliges. I do enjoy the atmosphere and like that I can take it in without having to participate. Prices are on point and they are open on days when most shops are closed. read more

She really gets to know you with some small talk an also followed up with me during the haircut if this or that looked good an if I wanted a change anything. My haircut was a 10 an better then I expected. My overall experience was blown out of the water this spot is very well maintained and will strive for many years to come if they continue to run the business this way. Just FYI this isn't just your usual place where your in an out in 15min these barbers care about how your cut is an appreciate your business an takes their time on your trim. I wish I could tell you everything they did but I don't have the slightest clue. I just know the extra 4-5 layers of care went a long way. And the entire service was only $20!
