Is your New Years resolution to lose weight or get a bit healthier? If you're local this should be…read moreyour gym. I personally love it just for location. I drive by it twice a day. And if you're anything like me, if it's not on my path then I'm not goin! If I drive by the guilt makes me go! Second favorite thing is NO CONTRACT! That's right, you don't have to sign your life away for a year and pay monthly for something that you don't go to as often as you would like paying big bucks for. You pay monthly. And it's not too expensive either. If you don't want to go anymore you don't have to give your first born and send a certified letter to cancel your membership. All you have to do is contact them a month before you want to cancel so they can stop the auto-payment. They have the usual stuff. Cardio deck with treadmills and steppers and bikes. They have a punching bag and a speed bag. They have free weights and dumbbells and machines and all the usual stuff. Then they have a little section with the balance balls and lighter/smaller dumbbells and steps and mats and such. The only thing I wish they had here were jumping boxes, the step just isn't high enough and more kettle balls. They have only two and they are too heavy for me. All in all this gym is great. Not packed during the hours and days I go and has what I need and it's small money. And the best things. No contract! So hit the gym in 2018 and get fit.

Always very clean. It is never really overpacked. Sometimes you can figure out when the crowds go…read morein and actually have the whole gym to yourself, which is awesome! The owners have been so wonderful to myself and my family.

We've been members of this club for over three years, and overall, we've had a positive experience…read morewith the facility itself. However, our experience with the Kids Club has been extremely disappointing. About a year and a half ago, my son had an incident where a staff member teased him. He reacted in a playful but inappropriate way, and as a result, he was suspended for a week. At the time, he was also dealing with a serious medical condition that was affecting him neurologically, which we later came to understand may have influenced his behavior. Out of caution, he did not return to Kids Club after that incident. Now that he is doing much better, and I have returned to full-time work, I recently attempted to bring him back--only to be told that he is permanently banned. The reason given was a Facebook comment I had made at the time describing our experience. I made multiple attempts to have a calm, reasonable conversation with staff to revisit the situation, especially given the time that has passed and my son's improved health. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to reconsider. This puts us in a very difficult position. As a working parent, I rely on the Kids Club in order to use the gym. Without access to childcare, we are now faced with canceling a membership we've maintained for years--not because we want to, but because we no longer have a way to utilize the facility. What's most concerning is the lack of empathy and accountability in how this situation has been handled. I sincerely hope the club takes a closer look at how interactions with children are managed, and how situations like this are resolved, so that other families don't have a similar experience.

They updated the dumbells and tvs and added a turf area in the past year. The pulley towers are ancient and almost always have at least 1 station broken, broken clips/pins, 7.5# weights that don't work well, bars with sharp burrs, etc... Outdated. Missing many machines that modern gyms have. For abour $70/month one would expect better. Seems more geared towards families with kids and elderly. Always adding on new fees and trying to sell extras.

Over the time I've been here they've really expanded and added a good amount of equipment, which is always nice to see. But currently, it's at the point where "prime time" at the gym is literally unbearable. It's basically shoulder to shoulder in there and makes it extremely difficult to get your workout in. If you go before or after the prime time hours you should be fine though for the most part - also worth mentioning that the gym is 24 /7 which makes customizing your gym schedule very easy. I've met and spoken with the staff at least once. They are all very friendly and helpful but I don't know them too much personally. But from what I've seen is they are really in it to always improve the gym and make it as good as possible. There is plenty of parking, usually. But during the busy hours it can be a little difficult at times. The gym also shares the location with a coffee/protein shake/ supplement shop which is sooooo good. These two businesses complement each other so well! Overall the gym is great but I will say it's not as clean and doesn't get cleaned as often as it should. There are spiderwebs and heaps of dust all over the entire gym, which is just ehhhhh . During the summer days it gets brutally hot in there even with the fans on and garage doors open. The gym is expanding its current location and will be doubling in size within the coming months. I am very excited to see the expansion. I just hope they can really increase their efforts to clean the gym because it really is awful sometimes. Also, would be great to see if they could maybe change/ upgrade the key FOB system. A lot of gyms that require a scan in now offer smartphones to be used as a FOB - this would be SOOOOO much more convenient.
