So so so cute, love it. My coffee was really good and sweet and I liked it. Exactly how I like my coffee, cute looking and very sweet. Wanted to get iced but I wanted the cute decor. Service was pretty nice and the spot is pretty cute.

Came here to do some work. This place is a very cute coffee shop with an upstairs that they label as the computer camping room. I sat up here and was able to easily find a table with an outlet nearby if needed. I ordered a horchata latte and a concha to snack on. I enjoyed both of these here. I would definitely come back here.

Leon Coffee House is both a great place to study and a good place to grab fun drinks with friends. My personal favorite is the Chai, which is served hot in a mug. They also have food, which I have never tried. When ordering up front, the staff are helpful and welcoming.

I recently went with my friend to Leon Coffee House for a quick chat. It's super cute inside and I like the eclectic decor. The menu is so creative and really shines the latin vibe that the cafe offers. My server was very nice and made the latte 3d art as soon as i asked if they do it for the drink i was ordering. i got the CUTEST kitty however, my friend got a similar hot drink and didn't get and latte art so i hope that they can keep the art consistent for every customer. i loved the taste of my flan latte that they pair with a free biscoff biscuit and would come here again in a heartbeat! also check out the cute pillows near the front- you will not be disappointed

Super cute big cafe! The pink vibe is so cute! Service is friendly but to find places that cater to my specific diet of low sugar- no sugar items is hard. The only sugar free options they really had was the cold brew or the hot tea options. I wanted to try some of their specialty drinks but the options were very, very minimal. I do think that they have lots of potential but may not be specifically for me. It was also a little strange that they gave out tickets for you to come up and get your order. The last coffee shop really catered to the senior population and brought out the drinks and food when ordering. Again, it might just be my one preference of a cafe experience .

Why was I charged for extra avocado? I didn't ask or receive extra avocado...odd and sneaky

To be honest the experience was average. Blown away by the cafe being soooo cute! Latte art doesn't disappoint and upstairs has a cute Barbie box and swing chair for photo opportunities! However service is a little questionable and food and drink is a bit bland and average. I went in for a brunch around 10:30-11:30am time on a Sunday. Cashiers weren't overly friendly but not rude just very distracted it seemed and I wasn't offered a punch card or told I was charged extra for something.... I ordered the 12oz horchata latte and chilaquiles with no sour cream and extra salsa. After I got home looking at my emailed receipt I noticed I was charged a whole $1 more for extra avocado??? I didn't receive extra avocado and no mention of that charge being made to my purchase...also never asked for any extra avocado. I felt that was a bit weird and sneaky tbh. Confusing. I should be told if I'm being charged extra for something... Not much avocado even in the dish tbh. It would make sense if I was charged for extra salsa but idk weird...made it feel a bit untrustworthy for me as a paying customer. The food did come out before the drink. Chilaquiles were okay. I finished my plate. Salsa is not spicy and dish was average. Horchata latte was so cute but bland...where was the cinnamon? I am a bit disappointed as I had high hopes but the experience was mediocre being honest. I don't see myself returning here really unless I'm in the mood to hang and take cute pics with my boyfriend or friends and get a cute latte art. Definitely a cute spot but if you're looking for good coffee there are better options in the area like sip house. I was so excited to try their chilaquiles, me encantan los chilaquiles, pero aquí fue un poco decepcionante. Ojalá hubiera tenido una mejor experiencia, pero aún así disfruté del ambiente.

I've tried a ton of drinks here the past few months so here is a review of everything I've tried thus far: Overall I really like the drinks here. Super well priced and relatively affordable. Food appears to be from Costco or made with Costco ingredients. My only complaint is drinks are not very hot. If you take it to go and don't drink it for a while it will get lukewarm fast, but on the bright side, ok to drink immediately. Grab a punch card for a free drink after 10 drinks purchased! Service is impeccable. No issues. Ambiance is casual, great for studying. Fav drinks: mango latte, mocha diablo Mexican mocha: the first time I tried it I thought it was ok and that it could use more cinnamon. The second time around, I ended up liking it more. It's not too sweet Matcha latte: tasted exactly like a matcha pocky. So probably not the best quality matcha, but it was sweet and fun. I'd get this again. Butterfly latte: great butterfly pea flavor! Sweet. I think this would be a great option for kids. Mocha Diablo: It's literally their mocha but spicier, as in it warms the back of your throat and a bit of your tongue. It is amazing to drink on a very cold winter day, which is how I enjoyed it. Super flavorful. I drank this drink SO fast it was so good. 100% would get again Mango latte: wasn't sure what to expect with this but I really enjoyed it! I debated on whether to get it cold or hot (because warm mango sounds gross) but I got it hot and ended up really enjoying it! Mango flavor is not strong but it lends a slight fruity, sweetness to the coffee that was very pleasant. Would get again. Velvet latte: this did remind me of a red velvet cake the first few sips before tasting mainly like sweet milk. Very milky but super cute with the red/pink color. Another good option for kids. Personally would not get this again. Maybe I should try it with a shot of espresso? Americano: great. Just what you would expect. Horchata latte: Good but way too sweet for me. I couldn't detect a lot of cinnamon or almond flavor unfortunately. It is very creamy however and while you can taste the coffee, it's not very strong. Would love another espresso shot in this or make it less sweet. I ended up putting some drip into it when I got to my office. I would not get this one again, sadly. Crema de leche: a little forgettable tbh. I wouldn't get this again Turmeric latte: I add a shot. It was fine. I tasted the turmeric. It would be nice if it was spiced with something else. It is chalky at the bottom

This was a super cute coffee shop and cafe that was right across the street from our hotel. What a great find! We had the ham, egg and cheese croissant, the turkey sandwich and for a little sweet treat... the churro waffle (our fav!). The decor was colorful and fun. The girls behind the counter were very sweet and quick to take our order. They are also known for their latte art, but we already had coffee. We would return here just to see what cool art they put on our latte! Lots of seating too!

Leon is a solid coffee shop for a pick-me-up and getting some work done. If you get a hot drinks, they will make you the cutest latte art! I got a hot matcha latte and they made me a shrek - so cute! Their drinks are definitely on the sweeter side though. Leon is centrally located in U District, so you'll always see people studying and working here but it's never hard to find a table.

Really cute, affordable coffee shop in U-District! Came here with a few friends since we were in the area and loved the ambiance of the place! Their menu has a decent variety of lattes, sandwiches, and waffles! The sandwich was ~$10 and filled me up! Their lattes had to be the highlight of the day since all their hot lattes had cute latte art! The lattes were a bit sweet but loved the presentation!

This place is soooo cute! I didn't realize this place was a Mexican owned coffee shop until I saw all the art that had nods to Mexican culture. The shop itself is inviting and when I went on a Saturday afternoon it was busy. The lady that took our order was friendly and even helped us decide on what we wanted. There's an upstairs seating area and a downstairs but this place was pretty full. I also thought the bathroom was cool with all the picture frames. Enough about the place! The coffee was very good! I got a caramel oat milk latte and it was quite tasty!

This coffee shop was down the street from my hotel, so decided to take a stab at it. I was very excited about the options between horchata, flan and matcha flavors but was kinda disappointed. I ordered the flan Latte and it wasn't giving flan at all. Wish I would have tried something else. The vibe of the coffee shop was a little confusing... there was a lot going on as far as the vibe they were going for. The service was okay, nothing to brag about, we just ordered our drinks and picked them up, didn't see much of the staff. They made a SpongeBob coffee art, it was cool, I guess. But goes to show that the aesthetic was just all over the place.

I absolutely hate to leave bad reviews. We came here due to close proximity to our hotel and raving reviews on yelp, but left the cafe confused by our experience. Upon entering the staff weren't welcoming. They didn't smile, say hello, and had little to say when we were ordering. The cafe is a large place with uncomfortable seats, odd vibes, and didn't offer the coziness most coffee shops do. The food was okay and the coffee art was impressive, but not worth returning for.

    Curious....same owners as Moore coffee?

It was the same owner, he sold moore coffee and opened leon coffee house.

Question for UDistrict/UW/Seattle old timers...before Leon, this was Xanadu Comics, then (?) Cafe, then a goth spot (?), then Slate. Thanks!

It was Trabant Coffee before Slate, they had the best Chai Lattes.

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance.
