I guess because it's on a hill, but the clouds are always amazing here

This is one of my favorite Seattle coffee places. Ambience is amazing, and coffee is ALWAYS good and that's not something I can say about a lot of places. Service is also consistently lovely.

The ambiance was great--perfect for working from a café, as most people seemed to be doing just that. The café has plenty of seating, making it a good spot to get some work done. The chairs might not be the most comfortable for long hours, though. Service was quick, with no line, and I opted for the 8 oz coffee. It was strong and smooth, and I really enjoyed it. Overall, I liked the experience and would definitely go back again. PS: They serve Lighthouse coffee, in case anyone's interested!

OMG, the name was prophetic, because this latte delivered pure sunshine straight to my soul. The shot was pulled with surgical precision and paired with perfectly steamed milk that knew exactly when to show off and when to step back. Like the Grinch on Christmas morning, my heart grew three sizes and somehow manifested itself in the heart latte art smiling up at me. Add another five stars to the Seattle coffee map. Thank you for carrying the PNW coffee tradition forward the way it deserves.

One of my favorite places to work! The seasonal drinks always have a great combination of fruity/chocolatey flavors and the breakfast burritos are also filling and affordable. Great staff and music!

Feels like everyone knows each other at this place. It's always full and busy with WFHs and students alike, but you can usually find a seat somewhere. Downstairs is a little claustrophobic, and not recommended if it's flu season or need quiet space. Upstairs is very nice and a great place to focus. If you have a seat along the wall, you're guaranteed to have a place to charge. Coffee is standard, strong, and they have stamp cards. There's no reason to not make this a regular study space.

Loved this little simple gem while in town for work meetings. We sought it out en route to do some volunteer work nearby. So glad we stopped in as not only was my sugar free vanilla oat milk latte beautiful and good, but it was served in a REAL MUG. I don't know the last time I was in a coffee shop that still utilizes real mugs. It was such a treat as I do prefer to sip my morning beverage out of glass and not a plastic to go cup. Thanks so much for that, Seattle Sunshine! I also got a gluten free fresh fruit muffin (strawberries and nectarines in it) which was amazingly delicious. I was so glad they had a few gluten free options actually. If you're in the area it's definitely worth stopping in.

This spot was cute and not too crowded, which was nice. I was able to easily get a table by the window with an outlet to do my work and enjoy the little bit of sunshine peeking through the clouds. The WiFi was broken though which was very disappointing as I'd come here to get work done between appointments and had to hotspot from my phone. The staff were friendly though and the chai was way better than I had anticipated. I think I'd come back as long as they fixed the WiFi or if I was just stopping in for a drink.

It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.

I love all the baristas. The coffee is delicious. Tanner loves the pup treats. It's avery relaxing atmosphere.

Coffee is really good and baristas are really nice. Sometimes the wifi doesn't work, so you may need to test before you settle in.

Lovely cafe with ample seating and friendly baristas. The space looks great too with seating upstairs and downstairs for work/study or a chat and lots of windows and natural light. A tall americano was a bit more spendy than usual (over $5) and was ok.. didn't find it had much flavor but other latte drinks people left with looked so good, so may try that next time I'm in the neighborhood. Whatever drink that is on this yelp business page coverphoto, I want that!

They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. Overall I will come back here, just would like to see some quality changes with the Mr Breakfast as it used to be very good.

It's located in the same spot after many decades in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood. Since there's several cafes along this stretch of 35th NE, as point of reference, it's two doors south of Wedgwood Broiler. It shares a huge parking lot and adjacent to a Metro bus route. It had a nice autumn hue from the overhead lighting and interior decor. The local art for sale adorning the walls was a nice added touch. Upbeat, welcoming staff. It was full right at noon and brisk walk-in takeout traffic. Nice overhead music to chill, dine, and/or do laptop stuff. They offer the usual bev menu, as well as, breakfast & lunch items, soups, salads, modest pastry case (from Alki Bakery), merch, and coffee roasts from Zoka. The 16oz mocha was well crafted temp wise & good balance of espresso, steamed milk, and chocolate. I also opted for the roast beef panini without the horseradish. Generously filled with roast beef, havarti, mayo, and red onion on savory focaccia. It was provided with au jus and I selected potato salad versus chips. The au jus was not salty, so after dipping, I also sipped the hot broth. Very flavorful and filling. The other panini half I'll have to take home. Thanks to fellow Yelp Elite All Star, Will L for a compelling post. This was a pleasant detour for lunch.

All the pastries except for the regular butter croissant were available, and we were able to place an order for the kimchi focaccia and sakura swiss roll, which were slated to come out around 10am. Service was super friendly! I got the hojicha latte, the okonomiyaki frittata, black sesame cookie, kimchi focaccia, and sakura swiss roll. The hojicha latte was rich and earthy in the best way, and it went really well with the black sesame cookie, which had a great strong sesame flavor, and the texture was perfectly chewy! The focaccia was pillowy and chewy at the same - I could've eaten five of these on their own. The frittata was my least favorite item, but by no means am I saying that it's bad! I thought the sauces overpowered it a bit, and the frittata itself was a bit bland - I couldn't even tell it had sweet potato in it, but it was cooked really well. There was ample seating in the heated patio, but parking was a little confusing, though we got lucky with the small lot right next to the store. My favorite was the butter with flaky salt. It also paired well with the sauce of my duck dish. For our mains, my friend had the burger and I had the crispy duck entree. My friend said the burger and fries were good, but he felt it was overpriced as a dish, which I can agree with. The crispy duck was crispy, albeit it slightly overcooked; but it was still delicious. I really liked the accompaniment of beans and kale with bacon lardons and breadcrumbs, and the sauce was SO good that I used our extra bread to sop it up. I had a coupon for a complementary dessert, so we enjoyed the opera cake. All of the layers were tasty and went well together, and I liked how rich the chocolate ganache was.
