I live in seattle and flew here for breast augmentation and lift. this felt like going to chick-fil-A literally in and out in 10 min. he doesn't care for you . he just asked what size you want and thats. now looking back I probably never needed implants I had enough volume - should have just needed a lift . nope, you can tell he is in this Job for the money and lifestyle . Highly recommend for breast surgery . Seriously flawless technical skills . I fell twice after surgery , and of course , hit the same boob both times and one time , put pressure and tried to push my self up, very stupid and painful . Because Dr Hochstein surgical skills are border line perfect , my boobs still look great 4.5 months post op, even nipples , facing the same direction, cleavage and all (which I never thought achievable with my chest). I don't need a friend , I needed a plastic surgeon. His bedside manners for some might seem cold , he is short ,but also courteous and respectful, which was perfect. He took my call on a Saturday morning during his personal time , I am still thankful for Most importantly, I felt comfortable with the anesthesiologists . Rhinoplasty Update; Back in 2019 of June 24 I had surgery with dr hochstein, me and my brother had it done together, I think his results were okay even though you can see his nose is a bit crooked if you see it from the under view, & my nose, I don't know where to start... I hate my nose, my tip is also crooked, I had a bulbous tip, I did have some bone/bridge removed from my nose, my nose still looks really bulbous when I take pictures I hate it, my side profile isn't even straight it's still really bulbous, it looks big from the side and my from view looks bulbous, they had showed me pictures of how my nose was gonna look, even though I know it said results may vary but my nose it literally no where straight from the side, his staff was really sweet and nice can't complain about that. But I just think he didn't do a good job . Now I will have to get it redone this year because I'm just not happy at all, I will be posting photos. I won't show my front view just because I'm embarrassed. One side looks bearly a bit better but still not satisfied. read more

When I first read some of the reviews I was kind of sceptic, but my friend had her breasts done at they look amazing so I went ahead and booked the appointment. To my surprise, it was nothing like described. Jennifer, my out of town coordinator, was the sweetest most helpful person through my entire process! She answered all of my questions pretty quick and was so calming and amazing during my consultation day. You get a lot of papers so it might be overwhelming, but Jennifer told me to leave the ones I had questions about and I did not have to sign anything without feeling safe. When it comes to the comments about Dr. Hochstein's bedside manners he was nothing but pleasant and nice with me. He was very calm and smiling and even made sure I picked the right size on my way out of the consultation. I can understand why someone would think we is short, but with a busy schedule I also understand why he can't sit with every patient for hours with during the day. This is why you get one of his incredible staff members who answers questions and makes sure you feel safe and comfortable. I also read about a document you have to sign that if you write a negative review Dr. Hochstein can sue you for $25k. I did not receive nor sign such a thing. All the documents you get are professional and in the patients advantage. I don't know if these for rumors or not, but there was no document even similar to this when I was there. My nurse the day of my surgery was amazing as well. She calmed me down, explained step by step everything that would happen and talked to be the entire time to keep me calm. When you go into the OR and you have to lay naked on that metal bed it can feel very scary and you may think "what the hell am I doing", but they take such good care of you and do their very best to keep you comfortable and calm. It felt like I was sleeping for 2 mins and then I woke up in the recovery room. My healing went incredibly well! I only took pain killers the first two days and I felt really good the entire time. No nausea when I woke up. Overall, my experience has been nothing but positive and great! Dr. Hochstein is an incredibly talented surgeon and I would recommend going here if you are considering a breast augmentation. I highly recommend his staff and his facility. read more

Great experience! First off, the office is so clean and beautiful. For me, that's so important when you go to any doctors office is that everything be clean and neat. They give you a beautiful warm robe right before surgery, the surgical room is big and clean and airy, the examination rooms are clean and upgraded. Wait time is reasonable, beauty isn't a quick thing !! The girls that work there are all super sweet. Jennifer is my favorite person, her bubbly personality and sweet attitude makes the process of going through surgery so much easier! Dr. Hochstein is incompetent his work is of poor qualities at best, and he is a known violator of the Hipaa law. I had surgery 10months ago to correct a minor cosmetic flaw the outcome of my "corrective" surgery has left me scared and deformed. The surgery was to slightly reduce the size of implants and improve upon my existing symmetry the actually results were asymmetrical breasts with numerous flat spots, ripples, an a double bubble that never existed before. I would expect better result from a back alley boob job in Mexico. Immediately after seeing my results (about a week and back in my home state) I attempted to contact the doctor/coordinator to discuss my abhorrent results after numerous emails, pictures, and calls over a period of months I was finally become enough of an annoyance to warren the "Boob Gods' " attention. Upon speaking to Dr. Hochstein I found his manner to be condescending, unconcerned, and aloof he made no effort to address any of my concerns or correct any of his mistakes nor take any responsibility, be it financially, personally, or professionally. To make matters worse, upon receiving my medical records (72 days late) via email it contained personal and financial information that did not belong to me. This was alarming for many reasons to name a few identity theft, forgery, tampering, fraud ect. the amount of damage that this sort of negligence could potentially cause is simply unimaginable. In short I would never recommend him to anyone for anything. I cant believe he has a license to practice he is a insult to cosmetic surgeons everywhere and a stain on the medical community in general. I had implants put in with Dr. Hochstein in 2011, I was 22 years old. I was a 32B. I asked for a full C bordering on small D. Well, I received a 32DDD. They were huge. They totally changed the silhouette of my body, I was no longer proportional and was top heavy. I have an athletic lower body and have nice curves. Such features were lost to these huge breasts. I no longer could do certain exercises because it would just plain hurt. The breast implants felt great to the touch, but as I said would hurt during certain exercises. The scars blending into the areola- he did a great job with the incisions. However, I had uneven skin in the cleavage area (I believe the implant size and shape are to blame for this; I would have been better off with a smaller size and a teardrop implant). I could not wear certain dresses or tops without a bra due to the weight of the implants and the uneven cleavage. The entire reason for my getting implants was to be able to forgo wearing bras with certain outfits. At the 32DDD size I was limited to "mature" bras. Just not at all what I wanted. He was very unkind, arrogant, and had absolutely no sympathy for my feelings. He too, told me to send him a letter of another surgeon saying he basically did subpar work. I spoke with two very well known surgeons in the are who agreed with me, even spoke ill of Dr. Hochstein, but of course did not write letters as this is not common practice. So, all his attempts to discredit you succeed and any suggestion of care are all feigned. I was never told about a policy to switch implants for a different size, he said in another review that he has only had to do this once in his career. I believe him, but only because I believe he only ever offered it once. If he had listened to me more carefully and given me the size I wanted, taken the care to point out that the cleavage skin may expand or stretch and offered additional procedures, I would have listened and done them. But he was boob mill then and by all accounts, is still one today. I had my huge implants taken out in 2014. When the doctor removed the implants she said they were sliding out of the pocket as my muscle was too small for them. Not surprised. I had an internal lift and my cleavage was sculpted by Dr. Cassileth in Beverly Hills, CA (using the Round Block procedure coined by Dr. Louis Benelli, Paris). I kept my natural breast size this time as implants are forever ruined for me. I'm so much happier with these results. I highly suggest Dr. Cassileth, she is a true artist and plastic surgeon, the incision is done only around the areola and is barely visible. Just amazing. This procedure with Dr. Cassileth cost 4x what I paid for implants with Dr. Hochstein. Just a word of caution, revision is not cheap. If you're considering Dr. Hochstein and you are okay with the Playboy bunny aesthetic, then you will be thrilled. If you are looking for a more elegant and refined enhancement that will compliment and be proportional to your body; look elsewhere. _____ As a response to the doctor; I really am not surprised that he took zero accountability and even called me a liar. I think the best example of who he is as a person is represented in his responses to patients who have had complications after surgery. It always goes something like this "they're mistaken, lying; not my problem". To be clear, you're the doctor. It is you who recommends the size of the implant in relation to a patients ideal cup size; patients do not know that information otherwise they would be surgeons, right? Further, if there was evidence of the skin on the cleavage prior to surgery, you're basically pointing out that you don't invest that much time with a patient to tell her about additional options to sculpt the cleavage; or (my estimation is) you don't know how and you just leave it to chance. All things considered, again, this is why your prices are lower than the competition. read more

Updating my rating to respond to the malicious post from Hochstein's office: NOSE: You did remove packing from my nose 6 weeks after the surgery, which was put by you during the surgery. You missed it during the follow up appointment and lied about it on the phone. I have emails from your office for anyone who wants to check. It was white. I am not sure what you think you removed from my nose or how you think it got there. BREAST: 1. The contracture developed within the first 2 months, not " seven months" later". 2. I never said in my post or otherwise my breast was "droopy". We never discussed a lift. If I were to quote you - "your breasts sit low on your chest in general", which is fine, my nipple is still well above the fold, which means the breast is not droopy. However, it bottomed out, because after the surgery the implant center sat much lower than the nipple, which is a surgical error. Please, as a plastic surgeon, educate yourself on the definitions of "droopy" and "bottomed out". 3. I did not try go to back to you to fix the beast because I didn't trust you as a surgeon at that point. I am not sure how and why you think you declined to have me back as patient. There is no way in hell I will allow you to go near me with a scalpel. Not to mention other clinics I went to for consultations were very well aware of your poor reputation. LIPO: I highly advise that you stop taking too much fat from the fold of the buttocks in future patients as it can cause structural problems. There is no sagging in the area, the folds become elongated due to the aggressive oversuction giving it that appearance. Which is another thing you should know, being a plastic surgeon. Finally, to the attempt at a personal insult, that just speaks to the type of unprofessional person you are (not going to even call you a doctor). My other reviews are about other physicians I have visited to try and fix issues that you and another colleague of yours have created, not to do anything new to myself. Horrible horrible experience. I initially went to see Dr Hochstein bc I thought one of my breast implants was encapsulated (from a previous surgery years ago; different dr) therefore I needed to change them. When I got to the office they gave me a package to fill out & in that package there is a form that he makes you sign stating you can not write a negative review on him or he will file a lawsuit against you for "25k per statement". I saw that paper & immediately felt that was a red flag so I threw it out & never signed it. In the consultation he told me there is no way he can see if my implant is encapsulated or not so the best thing was to change my current implants, he also advised me to get a "Bennelli Breast Lift" which I agreed to thinking he knew best. The day of my surgery before the anesthesiologist put me to sleep I specifically told him that I loved my areola's to please leave them the same or at least close & he told me not to worry. My first post op appt I started crying after my bandages were removed...my areola's looked completely different from one another & my scarring was out of this world. I was devastated. He said I had to wait 6 months before I can get a revision & that he's not sure how that happened bc he uses a "cookie cutter" for the areola's. He also said to me that I should have gotten a "Full Breast Lift" instead that was the only way my areola's would be symmetrical. His attitude was nasty & very arrogant. Those were the longest 6 months of my life !!! I was so insecure I wouldn't even take my shirt off in front of my bf the way my areola's looked. After the 6 months I immediately called to schedule an appt to see him. He told me then that he will do my revision for free bc he saw how horrible my areola's came out. The only problem was he was making me pick 1 areola when I wasn't happy with either, they looked terrible. I asked him several times bc I just couldn't comprehend if he can fix 1 why not the other ??? I paid a lot of money for my surgery & didn't feel that was fair. We went back & forth and his attitude & lack of patience was just getting worse & worse so I decided okay I'll make my bigger one smaller. I told him I'll be contacting Amanda to set a date. During that time I decided to get a second opinion bc I was not happy at all & even though it was costing me thousands of dollars in addition to what I already paid Dr H I didn't care I wanted to be able to be happy with my breasts. The dr I chose didn't understand why Dr H couldn't do my revision on both areola's & was making me pick. I also recently found out he has a couple of lawsuits filed against patients for leaving negative reviews. This info is public records ladies please do your research I wish I had !!! Dr Hochstein is more concerned about people writing reviews on him than his quality of work. If you have any questions pls feel free to message me. ****update to his response**** Clearly you're the one confused here because I never had an issue with my areola's as stated above I came to you only to replace my old implants nor did you mention to me there was anything wrong with my areola's because there wasn't an issue to begin with...until you touched them !!! You NEVER showed me any pictures or drew any pre op marks either, wrong person once again. I am the one that decided for you not to do my revision after the way you left me and after realizing you did not want to help me. Why couldn't you fix both areola's and why were you making me choose ? Very weird cause I just had a revision and the dr had no problem fixing both areola's for me. Why did I have to go to a different dr & pay thousands of dollars more ? Simply Bc you did not want to help me as a patient & yes you knew there was a negative review coming obviously Bc I sent a text to Amanda telling her I would be writing a review on my terrible experience with you....just how I have in writing that I decided to go else where & not have you ever operate on me again !!! read more
