I had a breast augmentation with this surgeon two years ago, and unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the results. My side scar is placed very high, and my areolas are noticeably asymmetrical. The overall outcome has not met my expectations. The day of surgery was also concerning , I did not leave the office until almost 11 PM, which felt extremely late for this type of procedure. Additionally, it was unclear to me who was actually performing the surgery, which added to my discomfort. I recently returned for a follow-up appointment to discuss my concerns. I was told that the only way to correct the issues would be to undergo another surgery. The appointment felt rushed, and the surgeon left the room without much discussion. Update: 2years after 2 revisions I had 3 total surgeries with Krau since I got capsular contracture twice. It was really hard to get the revisions and to be heard. The second time, was a nightmare since he didn't want to deal with me. I ended up just having my implants removed and got a lift. Dr Krau is good when his work comes out as planned but he is cold blooded once the work doesn't come. His ego takes over since he's considered the "best in MIA." All in all, I'm happy I'm not living with capsular contracture. I am however living with terrible scars. Sometimes I wonder if it was done on purpose since he was so mad that I went back to him twice after initial surgery. His team was amazing though. read more

Due to the humiliation of my experience I am not using my real name for this review. This review is long overdue. I'm very saddened to say that my breasts and nipples are completely destroyed after having surgery with Dr. Krau on 12/19/2020. I waited two whole years before writing any reviews on google, yelp or real-self and two whole years before reaching out to write my story, because I wanted to give it a chance to see if things would improve. I had great hope for improvement. I had full faith in Dr. Krau. I put my trust in his hands. But as you can see from the photos, I am now living in a nightmare. Despite following aftercare instructions to a fault, my breasts bottomed out almost immediately, after 2 months or so. The nipples are embarrassingly high, I cannot wear a single top without a nipple slip and that's HARDLY the least of it.... My nipples are completely butchered. They are lopsided, uneven, totally different sizes, the incisions are sloppy and carelessly butchered. To top it off they are PERMANENTLY a very dark pigment that I never had before- my nipples before were much lighter (see before pictures). It's is almost as if the blood supply got cut off during surgery or something, causing my breasts to turn a permanent dark purple. My breasts before were really not that bad compared to what they've become now. I was embarrassed to be seen in front of my own husband, who divorced me not long after the surgery. He viewed me as a pathetic failure who destroyed herself in a failed attempt to improve. A year after the divorce, I met someone new and as the relationship grew, I fell for him and thought I had finally found love again. But we still hadn't had sex yet. Well...the day after he saw me naked, he left without a word and never contacted me again. I can't say for sure why he abandoned me so suddenly, but the timing is certainly heart-breaking. I very deeply regret having surgery with Dr. Krau. But deep down inside, I still wish there is some way that this mess can be fixed. I keep watching Dr. Krau's Instagram page and see him giving great results to so many women...I don't understand, why did this happen to me? Why me who ended up like this? I did reach out to Dr. Krau's team to see if there is any hope he can correct what he sadly butchered. I am horrified to put my trust in him again, but I am a person with a good heart and a very big heart. So I am willing to try to forgive and move on if he can find it in his heart to try to correct all the hurt and damage he has done in my life. Initially, I was quoted $2000 for a revision, but Dr. Krau so carelessly and haphazardly ruined me, as if I were an animal or just another number. And I firmly believe that this extent of damage calls for some sort of reprieve here. It should come as no surprise that Victoria from Krau's office completely dismissed me saying there's nothing they can do to make this right. To add insult to injury they quoted me a whole $9-$12K to go back under the knife with Krau and risk being butchered again. If you're thinking about having surgery with this shameless doctor...just don't. Despite everything I've gone through, I've actually read way way worse horror stories that he has put poor unsuspecting women through. PLENTY of girls ended up losing their entire nipples and looking like Frankenstein in the breasts. Don't believe me? Just look it up on real self and read the horror stories all over google and yelp. Just because his social media looks amazing I promise that doesn't mean the work will match. It just means he hired a good social media account manager. It's been many months and I finally feel ready to tell my story. Please read. I flew across multiple states and paid thousands for travel and a breast reduction with a lift only for my nipples to turn black get necrosis and die. LOOK UP WHAT NECROSIS NIPPLES LOOKS LIKE ITS HORRIFYING!!!! The post op appointment and everything following up to the surgery was great it was only until after the surgery that things changed. After the surgery I woke up in a hallway alone in the worst pain I have ever been in. I felt like my chest was on fire. My family member who went with me said they ushered me out the back door and it felt like they were one of those Miami doctors who do 15 surgeries a day. The uber driver was scared for me I looked so out of it and horrifying he tried to take me to the hospital instead of the hotel. I don't even remember any of it my family member had to tell me the next day. I got back to the hotel and not only did it feel like my chest was on fire, but my eyes. My eyes were in more pain then my chest. They did not properly shut my eyes or put any cream to keep them moist while I was having surgery and it felt like my eyes have been open for hours. I screamed for hours in the hotel while my eyes were in extreme pain, I tried a cold compress and eye drops and nothing helped. After I fell asleep and woke up the next day my eyes were still dry but felt better. It was a nightmare. Then while I was recovering and in the worst pain of my life I went back for a last final post op appointment only for them to look at my nipples and notice they were a white color instead of pink. I was sent to a shady place they partnered with to do a hyperbaric oxygen appointment to hopefully help with blood flow and healing it what the doctor and nurse said. IT WAS A SCAM!!! I paid $300.00 for one appointment to a wack job who did not know what he was doing. How I know that is because when I went back home to an actual hyperbaric oxygen chamber with real nurses it was a night and day experience. I have one word for the surgeon and that hyperbaric owner...shady. I had to fly back home. Everyday since I got home I saw my nipples turn black. I got severe PTSD from this experience it was horrifying. The doctor said to just make appointments for the hyperbaric chamber and apply a cream to my breast and hope for the best. The doctor did not check up on me or offered anymore assistance. Everyday my family member and I would apply cream and change the bandages only for pieces of my skin to fall off. I had an open wound so I had to take cold showers with bottled water since I didn't want any contaminated water to touch the wounds. For months. I made an appointment with a plastic surgeon back home to help me I was desperate. I cried everyday. The surgeon said this is so rare that since both of them got necrosis it was the surgeons fault. He said it seems like a rushed job and the doctor did not connect enough blood vessels when he did the breast reduction and lift. The surgeon I saw when I went back home was amazing. The office was clean and the nurses were so kind. Ary Krau's office was small and dirty. Made me so sad that I just didn't choose the surgeon back home to do my surgery instead. The surgeon back home said there was nothing he can do besides fix the botched job Ary Karu did after it healed. So everyday after the surgery was a nightmare for months. I spent everyday applying cream and putting bandages on my nipples while skin came off and they died. I took cold showers with clean bottled water because they were an open wound. I spent thousands more on hyperbaric oxygen champers driving hours everyday to appointments to hopefully help heal the necrosis nipples on my chest. Imagine I didn't have the extra thousands to do all this extra healing? Would I have just been scarred severely for life? I did my first breast augmentation with Dr Krau in 2006. This past September 2023, I redid the surgery. I did a lift, removal of excess skin and a new implant. I went to other offices for other consultations and no one convinced me and that's why I came back to Dr Krau. I don't even know why I went to other consultations because honestly back during my first surgery I was so happy with the results and the office was so attentive that I'm not sure why I hesitated. A few months ago, I had breast reduction and lift. Initially, the consultation was fine and thought I was in good hands. WRONG. For starter, Dr Krau' s bed side manner was appalling. Worst medical staff I've ever had to deal with. I'm a previous patient of Dr Krau. I was extremely happy in 2011 as he fixed a previous surgery I had done. I decided after 11 years to go back and get a reduction. Before Covid Dr Krau had suggested I do the lift, lipo under the arm and smaller high profile implant. Two months ago I sent an email to the staff of Dr Krau and explained to them what I was looking for. They weren't doing Office consultation only email. I wasn't comfortable with that but being that it was Dr Krau and he's an excellent plastic surgeon I was willing to go though the email consultation. Not once did I speak to anyone of his staff. Today the day before the surgery I finally got to see Dr Krau and once again confirmed what was going to be done. On my way out I asked the nurse what was the implant I was getting as I was never made aware of the different types available. I was getting the original mentor gel then to my surprise If I wanted the new one it was $1000 more but had to be paid cash today. Suddenly they bring up that I also need to pay extra for the lipo under my arm $2500 on top of the $1000. A total of $3,500 due today because the staff has no communication with the patients but the worse one was one of the staff members telling me they didn't do free procedures as if I was begging for free stuff. My surgery was coming out to almost $13,500 which I then canceled as I didn't feel comfortable anymore with getting my procedure done at that office. They need to learn people skills and communication skills not just acting like a 2 but collection agency. read more

I do not know how this Dr. Ary Krau is still in business. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a plastic surgeon. I went in for a consultation and waited over 45 minutes to see him. When I finally did see him, the whole time it felt rushed and he half-assed examined me. If I had questions, he would shut them down and make me feel like I was stupid for asking them. Dr. Krau was super rude, talked down to me, and gave zero suggestions on anything that had to do with the size of breast implants. I spent $300 on a consultation with him that was beyond rushed and left me feeling like shit about my body and the experience at his office. I literally wanted to walk out of the consultation because he was so rude. It is one thing to be experienced, but another thing to act like a know-it-all-all and be insensitive. He was very rude and talked to me for 5 minutes when he was marking me up for my breast reduction. I ended up getting necrosis and completely lost my right nipple which is still in the process of healing and I have a huge gaping hole where the nipple used to be. He never saw me after surgery. I wish I can give less than 1 star this doctor not only does not have bed side Manners he is terrible at what he is supposedly known for. If you are planning on doing a lift with him think twice!!!!! what a coincidence most of his patients after receiving a breast lift and implants bottom out. When you think you paid for galaflex I am not even sure if he actually puts it in or puts enough. One doctor had told me he is known for cutting his galaflex in half versus putting one on each breast and it has to be true. When you go into his recovery Facebook many girls have the same problem. So please save your money and do your research. When I went for my revision I was starting to feel bad of how behind he was in surgery and his staff told me " he is going to take his time with you as he does with all patients" and also "everyone here is fasting" first of all not all patients are the same and I was told to be there at 1 and it was almost 4 and nothing. Dr Ary Krau is an amazing breast lift revision doctor! Took me a while to find the right doctor to fix my "old lady floppers". Living in south Florida ... ant pile of surgeons; it can become difficult to decide. After tons of research I decided on Dr. Krau. His before/afters had me sold. I HAD 400ccs moderate plus profile. Bottomed out. Full anchor scars ( they healed nice) ** Dr. Krau swapped all that and gave me 450 ccs high profile andddddd cut all the excess skin I had. I told him exactly what I wanted: perky, full, round youthful looking breasts. Nothing too big. Nothing too small. That's exactly what I got from him. I'm beyondddddd happy with my new boobs! Perfect incisions and u can barely see them! They're going to heal wayyyyy better than before. His method for reduced scarring is something I've never seen! DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!!! My friend had surgery with doctor Krau And I watched her go through the most traumatic experience as she LOST her nipple and doctor Krau didn't help or care at all. doctor didn't even tell her what was going on. she was left in the dark by him and his staff. she had to go to another surgeon to figure out what was going on, months of expensive treatments and now left with a botched non existing nipple. She even flew back to Miami on her own expense in hopes of help from Dr Krau, where he again - didn't even care and she got sent home with no solution and then a black nipple that would eventually FALL OFF! All she wanted was to boost her confidence and has now lost something she can never get back. Don't book with this "instagram" doctor, he don't care about his patients. And actually has a reputation for necrosis when you do DEEP research on him. He might have close to 300k followers on instagram but don't get fooled ,this is how he treats his patients in real life!! read more

Im such a little punk I rescheduled my surgery date twice but I finally did it 02/2023 ! I honestly had the greatest experience with the staff and dr Krau. They were really informative, always on time each appointment, they always answering my messages through Klara, the attention was amazing, & I'm very happy i choose the private practice. I had a small hematoma so I did have a second surgery about 10 days after my initial surgery but Dr Krau took care of it right away and after it was removed recovery was a breeze. I love my new babies they change every day I truly wish I would have gone bigger but I'm still very happy and the scars look amazing! I want to give a huge shout out to Victoria the PA , to Nora, to Hanny, & Dr Krau for all the care they provided from the moment I booked, to the moment I stepped In the office for pre op until my last post op follow up appointments. read more
