This was a very good pizza. I ordered the 16 in with sausage and pepperoni. It was very large and flavorful. It was greasy, which isn't a bad thing. The meat was very flavorful. The crust is chewy and there is plenty of cheese and meat. I'll have to try their sandwiches.

WOW! We went to NY city and never found pizza this good. Don't let the location fool you, this is a must if you are looking for good pizza. My wife and I got the 16 inch meatlovers and we can easily make 3 meals out of it.

Leone's Food & Specialty, SE 14th Ave., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. Pizza is a personal thing. I like Leone. Pepperoni and mushroom. A taste of each in every bite. Plus good when cold. It is not inexpensive. If you want cheap & fast go to a chain place. Slices are available at times. Everything is made from Leone recipe.She is 75 +. Cannolis are not made til you order. They carry imported items. Plus each day is a different soup. They had closed down but now are reopened for the last few months. Be warned they are located in an industrial area of the Cape. Low traffic. The biggy, THEY ONLY TAKE CASH or check. NO PLASTIC OF ANY KIND... Service is kind but can be slow. read more

This spot is hard to find but worth a look. Pretty good NY style pizza. We had pepperoni and we would return. They also sell all the ingredients and have a pretty good meat and dessert display. the place is hidden in the middle of dozens of businesses. It has about 6-7 off street parking spots. Take a look at the menu, I think you'll like it. read more

5 Stars all day long I see how this place has this many 5 stars on Yelp and TripAdvisor and Google. The flavor is amazing the pizzas are gigantic don't be scared of the prices it is worth it. We ordered the supreme and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Both Pizzas were phenomenal. They were loaded with toppings the dough was tasty and the sauce was scrumptious. Also ordered the cannolis they are to die for don't forget to order some on your way out. This is our pizza place we moved down here three months ago I've been searching for a pizza place and I finally found one. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed read more

Quite possibly the best pizza I have ever devoured anywhere on the planet. This is a no-nonsense establishment that delivers the goods - pizza, sandwiches, legit Italian specialties. Almost impossible to find unless it is your destination, but when you get close, the smell of the pizza oven will guide you the rest of the way - that and the steady stream of people going in to pick up pizza. read more

I think we found our new pizza spot! It's in kind of an odd location that you wouldn't come across unless you're looking for it..but it's definitely worth stopping in! They close pretty early every day, so definitely be aware of their hours if you plan on ordering or just stopping by and they don't accept credit cards. Definitely more than worth a try though! We ordered a pizza with ricotta and sausage and it was great! It had plenty of toppings, and the ricotta tasted very fresh. The sauce was very good - not too sweet or salty like some. We will definitely be coming back for pizza and to try some of the other items on their menu! read more

I stumbled apon this little gem amidst a wrong turn and Im happy I did!!! Cant believe I had never been here before. I dont even know where to begin there were somany good things about this place. The ever so graceful 80yo owner greeted us upon entering and we began chit chatting. Ill skip the inbetween... We got a cheese pie. Best pizza in cape hands down. Took home some homemade sausage, fried eggplant, homemade sauce, and some antipasto. Everything was exceptional! Going back in a couple days.... Its that good! read more

As a native NY'er I'm a little picky about my pizza... the Sicilian pie here is truly exceptional! Not only the first time, but freeze the leftovers, preheat a pan "in" the oven @ 425 degrees & throw in a slice or two for 7-8 minutes - perfect! read more

This is a reply to Vivian S we are sorry to hear about your experience trying to visit my uncle and cousins were at a wedding in Italy a very special occasion for his grand daughter unfortunately my uncle fell in and broke his nose and skull where he was in the hospital for the entire time so I think you're review is harsh if you would have called first you would have gotten a message telling you this like I said the family apologise for you're effort they are back now hes trying to recover from this bad fall he's 91 years of age please call the store to see when their open I assure you that you won't be disappointed read more

I did not "slander" your business--I shared factual experiences. The fact that you feel the need to accuse customers of harassment rather than reflect on feedback speaks volumes. If this is how you handle criticism publicly, it's no surprise issues arise privately. I was not only inconvenienced by having to coordinate the return of my card, but I later discovered the restaurant charged both my meal and the stranger's meal to my account. I have spent weeks trying to resolve this with management. Despite multiple calls and promises of a resolution, sending me a refund check that bounced, the manager continues to stall, making excuses and asking me for the other patron's contact information rather than fixing their mistake. Safe to say, they do not prioritize customer security or honest billing. Proceed with caution.

Steamers come with what I consider the best broth I've ever had and the Calamari w/ home made marinara. Servers are quick, friendly and efficient. Live bands every night and Happy Hour everyday from 11 - 7. On season, the parking and seating become hard to come by. Oh and the outdoor area is dog friendly.

My husband had the mussels which he said were 'ok'. I believe than on another night where theres music playing and people vibing you may enjoy coming here; however do not expect on having a great meal but just typical bar food to absorb the alcohol if you are drinking.

I enjoyed a Lychee Me Likey tropical cocktail which had great presentation. We shared the Pork Potstickers and the Hawaiian Sliders. Not kidding -- we've been talking about those yummy sliders for days now. Good food, fun vibe, neat decor, and festive drinks -- what's not to like? :)

I came to Cape Coral from NY where good, authentic Italian food was found on every corner. The only difficulty I've had here was finding the same quality that we've grown to love from New York. It took us 3 years but we found it here at Mama Leones. Most things here are even better. The atmosphere, the smells, the people...brings back the warmest feelings of my youth when Nonna and Papa had their lil restaurant. Mama leone runs the show with her family and makes everything with love. She loves each and every person that walks in the door and treats them all like family. The menu for an awesome lunch is small but you WON'T be disappointed. She makes her own sausage, meatballs, lasagna and more. Trays of food line the cooler ready for you to take home, reheat and feed your family. You won't be disappointed but you will likely get a hug read more

I LOVE this place. My husband teaches right down the road from here so he picks it up for us about once a week. Everything is homemade and delicious. Last night we ordered the ricotta and sausage pie (for probably the 15th time) and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza is cooked to perfection. We also love the meatball parm sandwich, and those cannolis............Well, let's just say they are a must have. Mama Rosa is an absolute doll. She makes everyone who walks through the door feel like family. Do yourself a favor and try this family run business. I'm from Chicago so I can be a little picky when it comes to pizza. This has never disappointed. Just make sure to bring cash or a local check. They do not accept any type of card. Mama Rosa is old school. read more

If you are really looking for NY style Pizza look no further, this is the real deal. Trust me I lived on Staten Island for 35 years. The only real Pizza place in Lee County was Birdies but they have since closed so if you liked Birdies then you will love Mama Leone!!! read more
