Homemade cheese ravioli with meat sauce and meatballs.

Wow! I had an amazing experience here last night. From the food, to the family like service it's was so welcoming and wonderful. I came here by myself and sat at the bar, and was welcomed like family by Heather and chef Angela. The restaurant is a nice size and feels very approachable, whether you come for a casual meal or want a higher end experience it is comfortable. Heather helped me pick out a great entree and they did a substitution with the sauce for me. The house made meatballs at only $1 each to add to any entree are well worth it! I took extra home. Chef Angela came out to talk to me and we had a great conversation. This place reminded me of the small Italian places in the north where I'm from, where the chef greets the guests at the end of their meals and the bartenders and servers know their guests orders by heart.

My first time here, and it was just OK; the atmosphere was good. The service needed help. You had the bartender taking orders for the dining room and bar, which was discouraging, but he was doing the best he could. It took for ever to get our food and drinks. The apps were good but some of the dinner plates were not, some were over cooked and some had no flavor.

Found Misto while searching Yelp for somewhere we haven't tried in Cape Coral and all the reviews were excellent so we gave it a shot last evening. The owner greeted us and said they've been here for 12 years! We were seated right away, ambience is slightly upscale, but laid back too, it was nice. Service was excellent; she was attentive and knowledgeable. The bread and oil to begin was delicious; with a pesto in the oil. We all ordered something different for dinner; cajun Alfredo with chicken, sausage and shrimp; crispy chicken Alfredo, chicken Marsala with risotto, kids pizza and veal Angelica with risotto. Everything was amazing, very fresh and flavorful. Veal was cooked perfectly. The only thing we didn't care for was the chocolate raspberry cake; it was dry and no raspberry flavor at all. The peanut butter butterfinger pie was divine though. We will absolutely return.

Misto is deceiving from the road. It look likes a local bar from the outside but it is actually fine dining in a casual ambiance. We were warmly greeted by Dan at the door and promptly seated. Our server Geoff was fabulous. The food was unbelievable. We started with escargot with a delicious garlic butter and covered in melted cheese. Homemade complimentary bread in a vinaigrette spread. Follow that with a fresh Ceasar salad with homemade dressing. Filet mignon that melts in your mouth and candied brandy carrots. Should you save room decadent homemade desserts. It's my favorite type of restaurant, fine dining in a low key come as you are atmosphere. Prices are super reasonable. I love this place and so will you.... Planning my next from Ft Myers... You want dining perfection, this is it.

Entering the shop, it's well lit and clean looking. There's very few places to sit, maybe 4 tables. We ordered at the counter, with the server explaining how the menu works. Being minimalists, we ordered the small warm lobster roll with butter (and a pickle on the side). I also ordered the shrimp and crab chowder. They also have bags of potato chips. While waiting, the server explained how the shop came to be; she was very friendly and accommodating. After a short wait, our food was delivered. The chowder was amazing, hot and perfectly spiced. The lobster rolls were what we hoped for - lots of lobster and delicious. It's a bit pricey but it is, after all, lobster. We'll definitely go back. We'll save it for special a occasion.

I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp with a side of onion rings. It was okay, but the Boom Boom sauce just didn't compare to the versions I've had at other restaurants. The onion rings also weren't what I expected--they were more like crispy onion shoestrings rather than the thick-cut onion rings I usually enjoy. My buddy ordered the Fish Po' Boy, and unfortunately, it fell short as well. He felt there was far too much bread and not nearly enough fish. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Danielle she was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from start to finish. She really helped make up for the inconsistencies with the food. At this point, I'd say I'm one for two on my visits. The first experience was excellent, while this one fell short with that being said, I do appreciate that they offer a veterans discount, and that's always a nice gesture. I'm hoping the next visit is more like my first because I'd definitely like to give them another chance.

FINS Seafood & Dive Bar…read more Atmosphere & Service Occasionally, you discover a place that exceeds your expectations--and Fins did exactly that. We stopped by for dinner on Thursday at around 5:30 p.m. The spacious indoor dining room was attractive and nearly full. Outside, there is a large tiki bar, plenty of tables and chairs, and a small stage for live music. Smoking appears to be permitted at the outdoor tiki bar, which is worth noting. We chose to sit outside so we could enjoy live music. Our server, Alicia, was excellent--attentive with drinks, orders and happy to answer our questions. What We Ordered *Clam and corn chowder: A hearty bowl of soup with clams, corn, and potatoes. *Seafood skins: Crisp potato skins filled with shrimp, scallops, and bacon, then topped with melted Cheddar Jack cheese and Old Bay and served with sour cream and chives. *Cod fish and chips: Fresh Atlantic cod in a light beer batter, fried until crisp and served over fries with tartar sauce. *Haddock fish and chips: Fresh haddock in a light beer batter, fried until crisp and served over fries with tartar sauce. Food & Overall Experience The chowder arrived first and tasted even better than it looked. It was served hot and generously packed with clams, corn, and potatoes, with rich flavor in every spoonful. It is the best clam and corn chowder I have tried in the area. The seafood skins were also delicious and loaded with seafood. Both fish-and-chips dishes were among the best we have had locally. Each generous fillet covered the top of its basket, the beer batter was fried perfectly crisp, and there was a plentiful serving of fries' underneath. Everything we ordered arrived hot, flavorful, and generously portioned. We loved our visit, and FINS has earned a place in our regular dining rotation. We are already looking forward to returning and would gladly recommend stopping by. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Gulf Coast Terry

One of my humans is Gluten Free and they had a GF bun. I have to be honest I wasn't thrilled with the extra 3.99 up charge on 1 roll. Portions were great, tastes were great, prices were a little high (our bill was 180 with tip). Michelle was attentive and kept the Ice Tea's coming and checked on us. I saved the best for last. I tried to get a picture of the famous Pineapple Upside down cake. It was gone before the camera came out. I didn't get to try it but my humans said it was the best they ever had. They liked it so much we went back in and bought 2 more pieces. My burger was great and that's what is most important!! Cooked rare as i asked and good taste and a good size. We love to sit outside but was super smokie (even someone smoking a cigar ) and so we missed the outside experience. Definitely not a dive bar or dive bar prices.
