We started with the garlic knots, which weren't actually knots, but half cooked bread sticks served with a sauce that looked like spaghetti sauce out of a can. The supreme pizza was average, nothing spectacular in our minds. The salad was quite good and a very large portion. The pizza had an odd taste to it and after we got back to our hotel we found our stomachs quite unsettled. My wife said she would have given the place a zero for serving raw food. The pepperoni pizza was good! Best thing we ordered for sure. The margherita pizza was not what we expected. First time I've had one with patchy cheese and crunchy garlic chunks. The garlic knots did not come with obvious garlic butter still in the pan, so if you like to soak them in delicious garlic butter as you eat each bite like I do, these are going to disappoint. Flavor of the garlic knots was good though. The roasted wings could've cooked longer to render the skin some more but had a decent flavor. Overall, we were disappointed for the price. My recommendation would be just go for a basic pepperoni pizza, and you'll probably leave happy. read more

As my cheese slid off my pizza I thought to myself, this is a surprisingly good pie. While the cheese was a little heavy (and slippery), the flavour was good and the crust was solid. I asked for some sides of ranch to dip it in and it was a great call. I also had a strong whisky ginger-ale and my friend enjoyed his tequila with soda water. Went at lunch time Saturday, this was our first experience with this restruant. First when we walked in the had a sandwich board out front and had there lunch special pointed towards road. I asked for the lunch special and was told it is m-f only. But nothing on the sign stated this. Nothing on the menu states this. We left because i wont do business with a place that is so deceiving and unhonest. I would have been fine if sign was pointed to read it or if stated m-f like every other restraunt would have. First time here, I ordered two cheese pizzas for pick up. When I arrived home I realized that the pizzas consisted of pizza dough and cheese and that's it. No sauce ??!! Yikes. Where to start. Every time we get food from here, something is burnt. Most recently, my pizza crust was burnt on the top but not crispy at all on the bottom. Toppings/cheese were barely cooked. Garlic knots? I don't think so. They are weird leftover slices of dough that leave a very weird taste in your mouth. Also, do not expect them to taste like garlic. Service? Not too bad but don't expect anyone to check on you til they are done scrolling their phones. Gotta keep up with their texts and social media, even whilst working. Don't bother them. They'll check on you when they are done. Cleanliness? Watched server cough into her hands, MULTIPLE TIMES, and just kept on picking up those plates and touching everything and serving food. We would have eaten lunch here today had we not chosen to sit outside in the lovely park area with our dog. We were rudely informed by a server that they don't serve people with dogs. When we stated that we were outside and it was customary for people outside to have their dogs she informed us the owner doesn't allow dogs, they don't serve people with dogs, we needed to leave. Came in for a late lunch at 2:20 PM. We were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered 2. Ten inch pizzas and their baked fries for an appetizer. It took 17 minutes for the french fries to come out. We asked for ketchup and the waitress after another six or seven minutes, brought a handful of ketchup packets and tossed them on the table. Where were we supposed to put them? I don't know as we never got napkins plates or silverware Took 38 minutes for pizza to come out. Pizza was OK. Crust was really good but the toppings were too chunky and not evenly applied. I live in Carrollton and it definitely has one of the best selections of food that I have experienced (and I have lived a few places!). I have been meaning to try Leopoldo's for some time and today I did. I had a great experience. I was grabbing to go, but sat at the bar for a while. The decor is really nice and I like the images on the wall. It has a fully stocked bar, so I definitely will be returning for happy hour. They have daily specials. $2 wells on Tuesdays! Woo! I ordered a 10" pizza and it was about $13. I do think it is a bit overpriced for this pizza, but nonetheless, it was tasty. I really like the crust. I eat pizza all the time, so I won't say it's the best in Carrollton, but I will definitely be returning. The best part? They do cash back on Dosh! So awesome! read more

Seemed like frozen Meatballs with some kind of mustard based BBQ sauce poured over it on sticks. Went to dinner this evening with the girls before going to see a show at the Art Center, arrived an hour and a half before the show so that we would have plenty of time for drinks and dinner. Play star drink order and then placed our dinner order, assuming again we had plenty of time. At 6:35 we realized we were going to miss our show if we didn't get our dinner that we had ordered 30 minutes prior, and asked our waitress to find out what the holdup was. She informed us they were working on to go orders prior to in-house orders and we asked her to please speed up our meals so that we would not be late for the shower. She left her table and went to the kitchen and brought back food that was not Complete. I was in town on business and popped into this place. It is cute, and my server, although she seemed new and inexperienced, was very nice. I ordered an greek salad with grilled chicken and a small 10" personalized size margherita pizza. My greek salad was definitely not a entree sized, it was more like side salad size and it wasn't that great. The chicken was small crumbly pieces. The pizza had literally no sauce on it, but the texture and consistency of the dough was tasty. A small salad that was more like a side, a 10" pizza, and a soda cost me $40.00. I was saddened when Palladino's Pizzeria had closed down a few years ago. It took forever for me to find a great pizza place in Carrollton. I had to settle on a place down in Newnan, but it's too far a drive. I decided to give Leopaldo's another chance. I had eaten there a few years back, but was either unimpressed, or had discovered Palladino's to be a far superior pizza. They have a brick oven, no modern oven like most pizza places. It heats up to 1,000ºF, perhaps higher, so you're going to have burnt crust. It's called flavor. A good pizza, nay, a proper pizza doesn't have a crust so thick that it can hold a 10-pound bowling ball. It's going to be thin. It might be thick around the edges, but thin in the middle. Everything is homemade. The dough, the sauce, the pasta, and I wouldn't doubt it if the cheese was homemade. It tastes so fresh to be frozen or bought from the store. The pasta. Oh, the pasta. This isn't your store-bought pasta. Oh, no. If you want bland pasta, go to Kroger or Publix, buy a box of Mueller's, take it home, fill a large pot with water, dump a bunch of salt in the water, bring it to a boil, and cook it to death. And you'll make every single Italian mother and grandmother cry. Leopaldo's pasta will make you feel things you've never felt before. Their spaghetti is served with a sprinkling of freshly shredded Parmesan. They'll bring the grated stuff in the little glass jar to your table, but trust someone who usually drowns his home-cooked spaghetti in the Kraft stuff: You. Won't. Need. It. Their marinara sauce is a very basic sauce, as any respectable marinara sauce should be. Some people like to get all fancy with it, including myself, but now I'm second-guessing myself. They should really bottle that stuff up and sell it. I'd sure as heck buy it! There's also a fine selection of desserts. So far I've had the gelato and the cinnamon knots. The cinnamon knots were pieces of pizza dough, rolled in cinnamon, and drizzled with a homemade sweet icing (confectioner's sugar). They were beyond delicious. The chocolate gelato was very rich and creamy. The Tahitian vanilla gelato was creamy, although I expected a bit stronger flavor. The service was good. The more recent time we went, I think we had a fairly new server, or else she had been running all over the restaurant. She was still as good as she could be. As far as COVID-19 precautions, every other table will have its chairs turned seat-down onto the tables, indicating no seating permitted at those tables. There is also outdoor seating available, with tables spaced six feet apart. read more

What a cool place! I had a nice lunch here on a Saturday and really enjoyed it. I'll never know why it wasn't crowded but I'm happy it wasn't. We had our choice of tables and sat right down. They have a self-serve beer wall with several taps. You give them your license and there is a "bracelet" that you scan before pouring. You are charged by the ounce. The selection is good, mostly local micro brews. Very reasonable also. The food was excellent. My fiancee and I each had calzones which were delicious. I can't wait to get back and enjoy some pizza. We started with a meatball slider appetizer that we both really enjoyed. The meatballs were cut in thin slices and enclosed in pizza dough with mozzarella cheese. For our main meals I got the Chicken Pasta which was surprisingly good. They used rosemary in the alfredo sauce which I liked, but if you don't care for rosemary I would recommend asking for the dish without it. My husband got the chicken parmigiana and was disappointed in the quality of the chicken. It tasted as though it was a frozen patty that was heated up and cut up. The pasta that came with his dish was delicious, though. We didn't get the pizza but it looked amazing - we have to come back and try it. We walked out of Leopoldo's about 2 months ago because of terrible service. We walked in and thr waitress took our drink order: ,1,tea,,1,coke.,after 30 minutes with no drinks and no table visit from The waitress (who,was,visible in,the back) we,walked out. Gave it another try today. We actually got our order in but drinks went without refill, app came out unappetizing and about 3 mins before our entrees. My husband had what they deemed,a panini, but it was dry chicken on dry bread,that was,charred and almost inedible. I had a pizza. I asked for a plate but never got one. they did, however, bring me utensils upon request so I could,cut the slices. The,crust defied theblaws of physics as it was both burned to a cinder on the.
