    Leo's Taco Salad

For a mid-afternoon, this restaurant was packed. Always a good sign, especially if not a typical meal time. There is plenty of seating and it's wonderfully decorated. As soon as we were seated the waiter was right there to take our order. I guess many are regulars and know what they want, but for us, we needed a few minutes to look over the menu. We shared a Margarita. It was a little sweeter than we are use to, but still very good. I ordered the taco salad with chicken which I enjoyed. Presented nicely and perfect size portion. Dessert was a must when flan is on the menu. The flan here is dense and deliciou, yet petite in size. Perfect portion size for 1 person and loved the whip cream that accompanied it. Service was overall good. Barely saw our waiter after he took our order, but they have lots of people assisting (bringing out food, clearing tables, etc). My food choices were great. I dined here with 3 friends who ordered various combo plates and all thought their food was just ok. I guess I ordered right and would recommend and return for the dishes I took pics of.

Wow an awesome Mexican restaurant. Very authentic, Mexican food very authentic and delicious. Our Waiter Armando was most excellent. The tacos and the enchiladas are delicious. Chips and salsa are excellent as well And the sopapillas with Honey and brown sugar are way good!! Just has the feel and flavor of an authentic Mexican restaurant!!

So it all started this weekend- I had been teaching back to back Pilates classes and then going to the gym to work me out and by the time I got home I was craving meat. Juicy, fork tender meat. Leo's came to mind but was a bit far and I was exhausted so I ordered delivery of carnitas from a place closer to my house- big mistake- the food was good but did not hit the spot. The craving kept growing g all week and I just went there on my way home from running errands and it was well worth it. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned and seared and fork tender. They came with a little lettuce and tomato and guacamole, beans and cheese- no rice which was perfect for me. Ahhh yes- they were so good and hit the spot!

Went to this place after probably 8 years I asked for the Chiles rellenos with separate sauce, the plate includes only beans, I tasted it and I'm glad I didn't get on the chiles it was a horrible flavor full of garlic it look like pumpkin gravy yikes! At the end they offered me a Sopaipilla "only One" and it was raw "cruda" I told the server, she brought another one and ... the same! You could even smell the flour! It's sad to have a Restaurant offering Mexican food like this since years ago and still they don't hire really Mexican food cooks, it was a disappointment! And they should! I was surprised how the place was packed HOW SAD

Leo's was such a great place for authentic Mexican food :) ! And it was so conveniently located within walking distance of my hotel :) ! I came here on a weeknight, was seated and was tended to and served right away :) ! The staff there greets and welcomes you there right when you walk in :) ! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays :D ! I was given fresh chips and salsa right away to munch on while I waited for my main entree! The Horchata and Leo's taco salad with chicken were so fresh and delicious :) ! I was truly filled up and content :) ! I will definitely come back to Leo's the next time I visit the west side in El Paso :D !

This place was so awesome! The vibes of this place are super cute. The chips and salsa were so tasty + the strawberry margs made this place a 10/10. The beans are the best part :) Service was amazing! We went by the waiters recommendations and it was well worth it! Definitely will be coming back

When we arrived we waited for about 20 minutes for a table. Drinks were good nice size for under $9 which I enjoyed! I ordered the fluntas and they had a nice crispness to them but the chicken Inside was completely dry. Also got to try their dessert and that was tasty as well. The restaurant is very spacious with interesting decor.

I find a Leo has a Mexican burrito of Carnitas and the Carnita plate is excellent. They're very very tasty and very fresh.

It was a Friday night, we arrived around 8pm and the restaurant was so busy and full of life. Music was blasting, ranging from reggaeton, to regional mexicana/banda, to pop. The prices for the food and drinks were all super cheap as well, so we knew we'd be ordering multiple items. Probably the best item we had was the arrachera quesadilla (can't remember the actual name in the menu for it). Our waiter was a young guy, constantly coming by asking if we wanted to add on to our order. We had multiple rounds of tequila shots and some mixed drinks, but definitely felt like the liquor was watered down. Before we took off, we even danced a couple of songs, giving us a club feel. Overall we loved it so much we had decided to come back the following Tuesday with more family. Well....we were left so disappointed. Everything was completely different. We arrived around 10, figured it being a Tuesday before Christmas Eve, it wouldn't be too busy. It seems that it was a lot busier than the restaurant had expected because they were definitely understaffed. Our waiter probably took 20 minutes to come to us to take our drink order and when he finally did, he stood in one end of the table struggling to hear us from the opposite end over the loud music. Don't understand why he couldn't simply walk over to our side. We waited another 10 minutes to actually get the drinks and for him to come around again to take our food order. Since service was so slow, we tried going straight to the bar and get drinks there, but they wouldn't take our orders because they had to be placed with our waiter. Food was pretty much the same, with the exception of the kitchen running out of multiple items by 11:30. I would have given this place 5 stars on the first visit alone: cheap food and drinks (great food quality for the value), absolutely great ambiance and fast/attentive service. But because we came back again and had such terrible and slow service, I'm giving them 3 stars.

I'm a big fan of brews, IPAs to be exact, and this place had quite the selection. The pizza was a nice size selection for two, very well cooked with seasoning and bursting with good flavor! Also! Honestly, I thought it was just a drinking spot, so I never bothered to step inside. Big mistake. I first tried their beer at the Greek Festival (the Greek brew was so good!) and knew I had to give them another shot. When I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even with The Shack Wings & Brews across the street, Aurellia stands out because they actually brew their own beers -- and they're fantastic. I don't drink much, but I tried a light one on the manager's recommendation and ended up sharing it with my friend. Smooth, refreshing, and plenty of variety on tap. For food, I went with the Bavarian Forest Burger -- wildberry bacon jam, arugula, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, beer mustard, all stacked on a toasted potato bun. I wish added hickory bacon and an egg, and loved the options. The burger came out cooked medium (they only do one level of doneness), but it was juicy, flavorful, and held together perfectly with the bun. My friend isn't a fan of pink, so she struggled a bit with her cheeseburger, but honestly, mine was one of the best burgers I've had in El Paso. Filling, rich, and worth every bite. The service really stood out. Everyone -- from the manager to the staff -- pitched in, helping each other out, cleaning tables, and jumping in when needed. It's a smaller space, and it can get busy and loud, but they kept everything running smoothly. I loved that team atmosphere. Bonus: They even had a lunch special with a discount if you pair a house beer with your meal -- a nice surprise. The outdoor patio has both shaded and sunny spots, which is perfect for El Paso weather. My only real complaint? Parking can be a bit tricky. All in all, Aurellia's is a true local gem. I regret not discovering it sooner, but now I can't wait to come back -- next time with my husband. Don't sleep on this place. If you're looking for great food, house-brewed beer, and a warm local vibe, this is it. 1620 N Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79911
