My pedicure with LaTanya was the best I've had in years. Many times in the past, I've felt very rushed and roughly handled when I would receive nail services, which creates a very negative experience. I immediately felt at ease with LaTanya. All of the ladies were so nice to talk to and made me feel so comfortable. Since it was my first experience with gel, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to come back today for an acrylic full set. Unfortunately, today's experience was much worse. Before he even put the tips on, he asked me at least five different times what color I wanted. I explained each time that I was still deciding because I wanted to look through the color book first. Instead of giving me a chance to choose, I felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. The nail tech was also on the phone during my service, and I felt like I didn't have his full attention. I asked for a simple, short, super square acrylic set, but my nails ended up rounded, uneven, and sloppy. I also requested a simple two-color design using a pastel yellow and pink. Instead, he used a neon yellow instead of the pastel shade I had chosen and never gave me the opportunity to choose the pink shade I wanted. As soon as he applied the colors, I politely told him I didn't like them. He huffed, walked away with a visible attitude, and made me feel uncomfortable for simply speaking up about something I hadn't asked for. At that point, I didn't want to argue, so I kindly asked him to just do white instead. Overall, I left disappointed. I expect to be able to take my time choosing my colors, have my requests listened to, and be treated respectfully if I ask for a correction. Between feeling rushed, the poor communication, the attitude when I spoke up, and the uneven quality of the nails, this experience fell far below my expectations. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Surprisingly there was no wait at all, and I was the only customer in the whole store. I was immediately seated and greeted by my technician, I think Chloe was her name. I thought she did a great job and I really liked how my nails turned out. She took her time with callous removal, painting the color, and even gave me a short massage. One thing to note is that they charge a fee when paying with a credit card. I deducted a star because there was nowhere that indicated this nor was I informed about it until I had already paid. I felt that there was a lack of pricing transparency there. They also had a coupon on the Yelp page for $5 off any service but they didn't let me use it and said it only applied to full sets. A bit of false advertisement... Overall, I recommend it for the service I received but just beware of fees.

I went to lush for a polish change on my Toes and to fix one…read moreof my Acrylic big toes. I left out with absolutely no acrylic on any of my toes. The tech working on me took the liberty to cut off all the acrylic that I had on my Toes (that I had gotten placed last time I was there and it was still in good shape ) leaving my toe nails uneven and then told me to reapply it would be $10 per toe. I told them I would just pay for the polish removal As I felt played and I wasn't going to fund whatever scam they are running. Don't come here.
