    Blueberry with power sugar!
    Bob M.

So Ignite Brewing in Barberton used Lerch's donuts to brew two beers, which were pretty good. On the release weekend for the beers they had Lerch's onsite selling their awesome donuts. My wife had the cinnamon sugar ones and I had the blueberry with powder sugar. They were so soft and cake like. They were killer.

Usually I don't stop at establishments like this, but a friend told me that Lerch's made some of the best donuts. My family and I ordered a mixed dozen (plain, cinnamon/sugar, and powder sugar). When I opened the box in the car I suddenly became a fan. When I put the donut in my mouth I suddenly became a greater fan. The donuts were soft, fluffy, warm goodness in my mouth. My mouth thanked me :D. I'd suggest eating as many as you can while they are warm. I ate more of the donuts when I got home about an hour later and they are definitely better warm. The donuts are still really good the next day!!

The sugar donuts are enough to get you hooked! One bit is out of this world. This place accepts CASH ONLY $8.00 for a dozen

It's as close to a storefront that you'll pretty much obtain.

"You Rang?" Located next to a mostly abandoned shopping strip, this place is definitely reminiscent of the Addams Family. Was told these were the best donuts on earth. Well the skeptical guy in me thought it was a typical overrated, "I lived in Wooster all my life" sentiment. And being that I am NOT a donut guy by any means, I must admit these were killer. Better than any Krispy Kreme I've ever indulged on. Not to mention made fresh in front of you. Don't let the stand-alone cart reputation distract you from the sweet treats available. The prices are better than a NYC Dunkin Donuts. Messy to eat the powdered sugar ones in the car, so think ahead. This is an Ohio institution.

Went to the summit county fair and when we saw the long line we knew people must be waiting for a reason! First time trying Lerch's Donuts was a success. Warm donuts with cinnamon sugar just pouring off of them. Yum! We also enjoyed the French waffles. Looking forward to waking up in the morning and enjoying more with coffee.

Great doughnuts, quick service. Very consistent. A bit expensive but they are a Wayne county staple.

First time stopping in to JAFB…read more I am impressed! One bartender serving everyone - and the dude was fast. No time wasted. It's large, several tables - we were able to play some card games while we drank. A nice spot, clearly?l, to come with friends. The important part - their beers were all solid. I have had a couple of their beers in the past, but at Land Grant's Oktoberfest my friend kept bringing me their Cold IPA (I was pouring for Sierra Nevada) - my girlfriend - who grew up in Wooster - ended up pouring JAFB. I believe the brewer Josh was at Oktoberfest, too! Plain and simple? It's a good damn brewery. I look forward to coming back in the future.

It certainly isn't the breweries themselves here but more of the locale. And I am trying to say that with as much diplomacy as I can. One of the latest breweries I tried from The Buckeye State was JAFB Wooster Brewery. Steve and I had the Vienna Lager called the 90 Foot To Vienna. I do like lagers and this type is fairly high on my list on fondness for lager types. Flavors to detect and have fun with here are biscuity, grainy, malty, some honey can be noticed and a clean aftertaste. All in all a very pleasant lager to have as the temps crank up outside for the summer.

It was just dumb luck finding them by accident as we drove by looking for somewhere to find a quick bite. They specialize in handmade Philly cheese steak sandwiches (multiple options to choose from), hot dogs with various toppings, and sandwiches (the burnt ends brisket sandwich sounded spectacular). On the owner's recommendation, my friend and I settled on the "OG", a Philly cheese steak sandwich on a bun, with sautéed onions, and cheese. They were running a special - a huge sandwich, chips (or coleslaw), and a drink of our choice for $10. HANDS DOWN, this was the best cheesesteak sandwich I have EVER had. Spectacular. I mean it. The bun was so soft and good. There was so much sliced steak. It. Was. Noteworthy. The sandwich was so large that when my nephew showed up at my daughter's game, I split it with him, and we were both quite satisfied. We went back after the game to get another Philly steak sandwich for my daughter after her team's win. The owners are friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited about their product. We are Clevelanders but will definitely be back and will tell our friends and family! Such an epic surprise!!! They will be outside the Quonset Hut on Cleveland Avenue NW on Thursdays.
