Ordering was quick, the bbq burger was incredible and the Cajun fries were awesome. Can't wait to order this again.

Butter cake. Is…read morethere anything else that needs to be spoken?!? Butter cake is a thing my dreams are made of. It is warm. It is a beautiful fluffy texture that is saturated with flavor and absolutely melts in your mouth. This place is a fancy restaurant that we snuck into on a day off. We didn't have reservations but were able to be accommodated quickly without one. The steak was good but not anything I feel like needs to be focused on (I know a steak house) I got the delmonico and honestly I wasn't impressed at all. My partners was delicious though so I think it was just a matter of the cut I got. We got the artichoke dip and it was good too but nothing out of this world. But the butter cake. I would pay $65 for a steak I didn't even finish for that butter cake any day of my life. So yes this is a 5 star review of a place I had average (now my average is likely ground breaking food... I am a true food snob) food at and paid $200 for the meal without alcohol, because of the butter cake. Other notes: our server was awesome too and the ambiance is definitely ON POINT! Really lovely place. Unfortunate my steak wasn't better, but I can see that it's a good place and that dessert is top 3 in my life. Loved it!!!

Last night we visited what is positioned as a local high-end steakhouse for a business dinner…read more Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what the price point and reputation suggest. The meal started poorly and never really recovered. The lamb chops were undersized for the price, leaving the impression that the plate was built more around presentation than value. The pork belly was especially disappointing. It was so tough it could not be cut cleanly with a knife and had to be pulled apart in layers just to eat it. A salad dressing that was requested never arrived. The entrées were the biggest letdown. Four steaks at the table were overcooked. My $65 Delmonico was particularly disappointing. It looked and tasted like an overcooked pork chop from the 1970s rather than a properly prepared premium steak. At this level, temperature and execution should not be questionable. They should be the baseline. The sides did not help. The steamed vegetables were cooked well past the point of being enjoyable. The yellow squash was so soft and mushy that the only real clue it was squash was the skin. Because this was a business dinner, most of the group simply made the best of it and ate what was served rather than disrupt the evening. But after spending around $500, the disappointment was hard to ignore. A restaurant charging high-end steakhouse prices has to deliver more than a nice room and a premium menu. It has to execute. Based on this experience, we will not be bringing clients or business guests back.

Have been here many times. A friend goes here every week & multiple times. She loves the food &…read moredrinks.. I personally only like the mixed drink I always get. The food I have ate here maaaybe 3 times? & every time I'm just disappointed with the food. I had the "cheesy Louisey" the last time & it was disgusting in my opinion.. it says "beer cheese" which I really like the white beer cheeses.. this was the yellow kind? & literally DRENCHED in it.. so much so, it was gross & inedible to me. Boneless Wings are decent, but not great. I always get a "Green Tea Shot" but in a drink, full cup form lol not a shot. & it always yummy. The bar guy is always fun & great! They also have a ducky claw machine, def entertaining. Also a few other games that my kids enjoyed. Outdoor dining but we couldn't order from out there due to staffing issues? Recently. I think it was. So we had to eat inside. I guess you can table sit, order, & THEN take it outside.. is what we were told. But we just didn't. We wanted to fully dine outside. Decent food & experience. I probably wouldn't have came back if it wasn't within walking distance to a hotel & a local friend being a frequent flyer.

Great place with really diverse menu, great local beers on tap and set in a really cool atmosphere…read more We went after a College of Wooster Softball game as the Visiting Team from DePauw with family in tow. Got seated quickly, great atmosphere (friendly & casual without being too loud) and the artifacts on the wall and the story of the Stables all made sense. Food was great (I had the local bison burger) and the service was friendly, efficient and quick. Had a custom Old Fashioned with some local rye whiskey and a local brew. Was a great night! Will definitely be back when we are next in town! Nice surprise for a small college town! Definitely recommend!
