Good idea - tasting done right. I am a novice in wine so have no idea what wine works with what dish. It was enlightening to come across an establishment that made this choice easy by giving a selection of wines, with different prices and 2 sizes, for each dish on the menu. Well done! The evening did not start well for us as the rain had been sudden and we were left standing at the door which had yet to open at 6. A call later the door was opened and we were in the peaceful and elegant restaurant. The lighting was done perfectly and we were seated quickly and had ordered our food within 10 minutes from the menu opting for 3 courses for £25 over the 2 for £20. This was fantastic value so close to Oxford Street. My first course of Jerusalem artichokes came with a delicious soft textured cream which complemented the crunchy hazelnut and the mean bits of artichoke. I washed this down with a more expensive white that was a perfect complement.. these people obviously know what goes with what. My Veal blanquette was a home cooked special in my eyes. A thick sauce perfectly complemented the veg and veal. I could not say the same for the Dover sole my wife had which was very "fishy". Was it a bit off. .. we were too innocent to think so and continues to eat. The dessert was probably the best value as it was large compared to the mean starter and main. However in all cases, apart from the fish, it tasted good. Well worth a try provided you realise that your £25 budget will be blown away with each fine glass of wine you drink.

An amazing meal from start to finish! This Scottish langoustine raviole with carrot purée was one of my favourites, and looks stunning. The restaurant has a very smart interior, having the same architect as it's namesake in Paris. The bar wall is lined by blue/green glass bottles and wood panelling throughout gives a classic feel. The staff were immediately both welcoming and informative, and was excellent throughout the night. The seasonal tasting menu was just right for the cold autumn/winter . The foie-gras, passion fruit, mango & toasted brioche was the perfect combination. The diver scallops were cooked with butternut, walnuts & chestnuts and was surprisingly delicious. Another highlight was the Scottish saddle of venison, which was tender and game-y, served with the richest veneer sauce, yum! The first dessert of coconut & mango combo was refreshing, and finishing the meal with a masterful chocolate creation. Their name comes from having 110 wines on their books (!), too bad I don't have the enzyme to try all of them. But all I need is a Gruner Veltliner and I'm happy!

Foies gras. Smooth, rich, and buttery! I savored every bite.

We came here for dinner last night and I'm very glad we did. The restaurant has a cozy, elegant, and romantic feel -perfect for a date night! The food and wine pairings were delicious. I'm not entirely sure that I liked how the name of the wine was put on the glass but it was a helpful reminder when the next glass came and I was not finished with the previous one. We ordered the foies gras to start. I had the lamb and my boyfriend ordered the beef filet. Both were delicious, but I liked the lamb dish more. Overall, a great place to enjoy a dinner in London!

    The dessert 10/10

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday, there was a decent crowd and the restaurant was nearly full. Service was on a different level, perfect. The wine system here, wine by the glass, colour coded to show the best wine pairing combos, allows for you to try multiple wines. The food, was fantastic all round. Our dishes inclided the green vegetable risotto and langoustine ravioli, both cooked perfectly. For the mains, the cod as well as the veal t-bone. The veal was to die for, juicy and seasoned well, plus the sauce was amazing. The mash potato was so buttery and delicious. The dessert and coffees, if you have room by this point, should also be tasted. The atmoshpere is warm and inviting but also not so loud but if you're looking for top level service and tasty food, it's worth checking this out!

They bring out cheese puffs in the beginning of the meal upon arriving and sitting down at a table

Thank you, Yelp app and fellow Yelpers for directing me to this little tapas restaurant on…read moreEversholt Street. It's a little unassuming family run restaurant but with serious intent from the kitchen. I was offered a table in the main dining room or the garden when I walked in - as we are in the middle of 'Wimbledon week showers', I chose to dine indoors. The menu was written in impressively authentic sounding terms but closer inspection revealed some fusion going on - lemongrass, tumeric and enoki mushrooms being amongst the ingredients on show. I'm up for a bit of fusion as long as it doesn't end in con-fusion! Having confirmed that I was hungry, the helpful waiter suggested getting 3 dishes. I couldn't help myself and went for the fusion sounding dishes. Panceta con cidra was pork belly, rolled and marinated with garlic, black pepper and dill, braised in Asturian cider. I zoom in pork belly whenever I see it and this version has been slowly cooked to melting tenderness with the dill coming through strongly - it didn't need the wedge of lemon which came with it and I enjoyed it as it arrived. Pollo a la plancha del Parador were a pair of chicken thighs marinated in lemon grass, turmeric, garlic & coriander and cooked on the plancha (grill). I prefer dark meat as it remains moist and the oriental kick wasn't too overwhelming. When the waiter said the Higadillos Salteados (chicken livers with Iberico Jamon, enoki mushrooms, shallots, black pepper and butter) would be served pink inside, I smiled - nice to see a restaurant willing to serve food as it should be cooked and not pander to squeamish guests. These were a delight and to get some Iberico ham from acorn-fed pigs was a bonus. This is tapas of the highest order, given a little twist. A little Yelp gem which deserves its high star rating.

Situated on quite a quiet street, it is well worth taking a visit. With a choice of over 40 tapas, all very well priced and utterly delicious. Your choice of dish will flirt wildly with all senses and deliver all promises. I am always very happy to find a restaurant which has a diverse yet experienced selection of fish. El Parador specialises in scallops, Halibut, and crab... although they were many others still left to be tried. The interior Decor, to me seemed rather french with little white table clothes and a smart yet gentle ambience. The wine list was impressive to say the least, with over 30 bottles of wine, in the price range of £13-30, with over 15 available by glass. The lunchtime menu has a special offer of 3 tapas for the price of two.

But it was surprisingly good although it's not the cheapest restaurant out there. The steak is flavorful and cooked to our liking. Along with the chips, it's a very satisfying meal. Pork belly is very fatty but the skin is crunchy and it's very lovely. I didn't want the sweet potato mash that comes with it and they were happy to supplement it with a side from another dish. We got put at the table upstairs and the lighting is a bit weird but the restaurant has a cozy ambiance.
