I went to Lisa for about 5 years. When I wanted to grow my hair out long, it would take more of her time. One day she held up a the front sides of my hair and said they were uneven. I said well, don't even them out, that would take away all my length. So, I had uneven hair for months. I should have stopped going to her then, but I didn't because I'm loyal. Long story short, not sure what she did, but she ended up frying all of my hair off. Literally my hair was, and still is almost a year later, so thin. She fried chunks off of my hair. I've had to put in fake clip ons to hide it. I'm going to a new person that is working on getting it healthier. I use all good hair products and I tipped her very good, so I'm not sure why she would have done this, except that my longer hair took longer. She should have just told me she doesn't do long hair. I'll post some pics of the before and after. I just want others to know, because it literally takes years to grow it back. Update: Added pictures of before and after. I didn't have any of it immediately after, because I always had my fake hair clip ons in my hair. read more

The one with the loud mouth--toots her own horn constantly--butchered my hair so badly that my husband begged me not to go back. When I showed the problem to a couple of friends, they also commented that the cut was very odd. The stylist also made lots of negative comments about how my former stylist had made so many terrible mistakes--she had not. That's not a professional way to do business. Horrible experience!!! I had to go to yelp because the owner blocked me from posting a review on her website. That tells you everything. I went to Karen because she's listed as a color expert. The only good thing that happened was that she got me in quickly the next day before I went on a trip to California. Everything else went downhill from there. I have dark blonde hair kind of ashy with silver in it. I told her I just want everything evened up and I don't even want people to notice that I got anything done. She said she would do a gloss. Natural and healthy. Well to make a very very long story shorter, my hair turned DARK brick red. My vacation was completely ruined because all I could see was horrible horrible hair in the mirror everywhere I went. My husband hated it. I hated it. I was lying in my bed at 6:30 in the morning texting Karen saying what in the world can I do to fix this?? It was just an absolute nightmare. Looking back, she is a very rushed person to begin with. The owner said that is her personality. So, I was sitting in the chair and she gave me color swabs and said what do you want and actually I didn't even like any of them but I told her you are the expert.... I don't know. Then she said well looking at these swabs it's going to come out different anyways so then I really said okay I don't know. I should have walked out right then. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and said you are the color expert... do your thing. Couple minutes later she's mixing the colors putting it on my hair and as she was blow drying it I thought for sure I saw hot roots and she said No. But sure enough when I got home the hot roots were exploding. I had dark orange on the top of my head and then the other part was turning brick red at a fast rate. I called her when I got home and said this is not good!!! So she went to Sally's beauty supply to get me some color depositing shampoo but it did not work. I don't know why she didn't just bring me back to the salon and try to fix it before my vacation. So then after a ruined vacation I called the owner on my way home from California I was talking to her for about an hour and all she did was blame me and act like it was my fault. At the end she said well we can bleach it and add some green toner but then I started second-guessing that because they seemed to just be blaming me and did I want to go under their "knife" again??! Especially now that they were angry at me??! So I went in and talked to the owner and showed her what my hair look like and said the right thing to do would be to give me my money back. I only got my tip back and I got the $10 that they overcharged me. So then I made an appointment with a much better salon and I was going to pay $160 to get my hair bleached because after using clarifying shampoo a dozen times, using vitamin c, and using baking soda the new stylist said she could not believe how much red I had in my hair!! She said she would need to do a full highlight with mini bleach all over my head just to break up the red. So I went back and talked to the original owner of the salon that turned my hair red (les cheveux salon) and said the right thing would be to refund to my money. She looked at me and said, "Look my salon did my hair yesterday and it turned green and so now they're going to have to start fixing it." Are you kidding me??????!!!!!! I have no absolute idea why she would tell me that but I'm glad she did. I think she was trying to make me feel better but I guess it's apples and oranges they turned her hair green and they turned my hair red. All I can say is stay far far away. The other thing is that through out this whole ordeal, Karen said multiple times to me what a sweet lady I was. I was soooo nice. Most people would be yelling at me.... you're soooo nice etc etc. She was saying this hoping I wouldn't leave a review. I wasn't going to but after all they put me through, others deserve to know what happens here. read more

In need of a stylist, I stopped by Les Cheveux. The salon is near my home, so I decided to stop by. My intention was to make an appointment for their next available opening. I was certain I would make an appointment based on the fact that the salon is in a very nice strip center, with a couple of excellent restaurants, a nice bakery and other services. My assumption was the salon would be of equal merit. There was no one at the reception desk where I stood at the counter for just shy of 15 minutes. Since no one acknowledged me, I moved to the end of the counter in order to be seen by the stylists in the back. One stylist looked at me, but gave no greeting and never spoke to anyone else regarding my presents. No one ever came out to the reception area. First impressions are everything, and my guess is this salon isn't interested in acquiring new patrons. read more

Beware if you get Danielle especially if you ask for weight to be taken out of your hair or to add some layers! In the middle of March 2019, I had only went in for color because they use this more natural line and I was growing out my hair but needed some weight taken out and she caved in everywhere and so I had to start over and one side is still very much shorter and over texturized to the point it looks "thin" and I have a ton of hair! Walk-ins may not be welcome. I stopped in to see if I could have eye brows waxed or set an appointment for later in day. Walking in I made eye contact with nail techs near the door. Then sat in the chairs waiting for an available stylist or anyone who could just greet me and let me know if the waxing could be done at that time or later. I sat for 15 minutes without any acknowledgements by anyone, even making eye contact with another stylist who was sitting and chatting with her client while color set (I assume). It seems like a great place considering the full salon, but just unsure about the "Walk-ins welcome" claim. read more

Pam B is the most unprofessional and rude stylist I've ever encountered. She was very condescending and acted like she just wanted to be done with me. She gave me the feeling she considers herself superior to me and anyone who isn't just like her. Its 2020 - bigotry and racism should not still exist, but she seems to exude both. I had an appointment today at 1 pm with Karen . I spoke to her personally by phone while making the appointment. At the time she agreed to work me in as I needed an appointment a within a week. Brand new to the salon, I arrived and sat for 15, 20 then 30 minutes while not one person acknowledged my presence nor asked if I needed anything. Finally I had to ask someone who Karen was, by this time it was 1:45. At this point all she agreed to do was argue with me about the fact that she was right and I was wrong about the date of my appointment. I left. She did call me back with an apology and wanted me to come back in but after driving 1 hour and being treated less than important I told her I would not support the type of salon that makes people feel unwelcome. Me and my mom had made an appointment to get our nails done and they messed up our appointments first time. I didn't want to have mine done anymore but my mom still wanted to. We then had to schedule for the next day. She tried to call my mom late last night after hours which was sketchy so she didn't answer. We went there today, came early and our nail lady was no where to be found, the place was empty except for two customers, no receptionist to help us out, place was dead and one of the hairdressers asked who we were waiting for. We let her know who it was we had the appointment with and she said "let me call her". They lady wasn't even there and the hairdresser gave the phone to my mom and said "here, I'll let you talk to her". The nail lady said she called my mom and texted her over and over but there were no texts or call history. She was not blocked either. she went and assumed we weren't coming so she decided not to come before we even arrived.‍ Very flaky place. They gave us the run around twice so we won't be going back.
