My experiences here were not up to my standards at all. I've had my hair done all over - California, Utah, Colorado. I do extensive research to make sure my hair is in the right hands because it is not only extremely expensive to upkeep, it is time consuming. I tried making appointments with a few stylists here in Tucson, two of them were cancelled on me the day of. So I tried this place because of the positive reviews and availability. I reached out and was booked with Anthony. I explained that I wanted to lighten and tone my hair, add balayage and money pieces to highlight my face (see photos). He assured me he could. My appointment was at 4. I didn't get seated until 4:30. I was there until 1030 PM because he double booked me on top of someone else's service. I understand that the process can take time, but he left me sitting for so long (over 2 hours) by myself that some of the foils moved, there were some spots that were not blended well at all, some bleached spots were extremely blonde nearly white, while others were yellowish. The balayage was not done with care, and I left with strange uneven balayage, money pieces totally uneven and didn't go to my roots (it looked like I had 2 weeks of grow out), overall just really poorly done. I asked Anthony "Hey, it's 10p, I'm exhausted and I don't really want my hair styled, I want to go home." He insisted that the style came with the service, styled my hair, then forced me to wait even longer so he could take photos. If a customer tells you they want to leave, LET THEM LEAVE! I was starving & tired. I didn't want photos of my hair when I didn't even like what was done to my hair! I was so exhausted though, being so late at night so I didn't say much until I left the salon asking for a correction. When I reached out explaining my disappointment and showing photos, Anthony did agree to do the correction for free (which is why I bumped up another star). However, it looks exactly the same, AND he double booked AGAIN, so he left me sitting in the sink with wet hair FOR ANOTHER HOUR! Why would you do this to a client? Would you not finish washing their hair then let them sit with maybe a towel on their head, so they aren't stuck with sopping wet hair with their neck bent back over the sink? So uncomfortable and so unaware of customer satisfaction. He needs to work on managing his schedule and time with customers to ensure things are up to standard and clients are not waiting forever to finish up their appointment, because you are working on a totally new client right in the middle of my service. There are still uneven balayage and highlights all over, it's unblended, my money pieces don't go all the way to my roots. He did even out my money pieces so they are more symmetrical. But the sheer time and money I wasted on this for a stylist to not put in their dedication and best work to achieve what I asked for, proves to me this salon isn't up to my standards, and lacks the care to maintain a high level of customer service and hair services. I decided to take a chance on a new stylist today and I'm so glad that I did. Booking through gloss genius was super easy and all of their policies are upfront and easy to understand. Lolli was an absolute sweetheart, she took the time to get to know me as a person and my hair needs. She asked all of the right questions when it came to choosing the appropriate cut for me and I'm so grateful. She was very professional and tentative as well. After applying the color to my hair she offered me snacks and a drink. Any time I was processing she made sure to come back and check in with me to make sure I was doing okay. She also went over styling, upkeep and aftercare for my hair color and cut which is SO appreciated!! I can't wait to come back! I highly recommend Lolli for all of your hair needs!! read more

I was excited for my first balayage in years. My hair is naturally Raven-black, so I asked for a warm coper red, and I shared multiple photos w/ the stylist (Asinette Velasquez) of what I wanted and what I didn't. And I got everything I didn't... Asinette is new and it showed. My balayage turned out part dark red, part blonde, part brown. She dropped my color in the sink, and also ran out of my color, so had to "improvise." After I sent her photos of my hair, she said yes to fixing it for free and was accommodating the next day. However, it wasn't fix, instead, my hair turned into a magenta red (think the blue chic from X-Men). I told her it was too red and she said, "it would fade." I ended up going to another hair salon to dye it back to my natural hair color. I called the hair salon owner for a refund or partial refund - she said she couldn't do anything b/c they're all independent contractors. I reached out to Asinette twice and never heard back. Not only did she screw up my hair twice, but the hair salon didn't take any responsibility and I lost $300 dollars. PS: They said the $50 booking fee would go to the total, but it didn't, they ended up charging me the service on top of the $50. read more

Andrea is a wizard I found Andrea on Instagram after seeing some of her fantastic work! I sent her a message showing her my goal and my current hair. Despite having very dark hair, Andrea was never unsupportive or attempted to discourage me from going lighter. She was super excited and cheerful! After dealing with so many hairstylists that didn't quite know what to do with my very dark hair, it was so refreshing to have someone in my corner. When I came in for my appointment, Andrea was incredibly friendly, and we talked the entire session. She ensured that I was comfortable and understood the whole process. To get my hair to the pink I wanted, I needed to process it for a long time. Andrea never rushed me or made me feel like I was an inconvenience for having to spend so much time getting bleached. She was through and did her best to ensure I reached the lightness I needed without damaging my hair. I think the results speak for themselves... I went to Matthew to go from red to blonde which I knew already was hard but my hair looked horrendous afterwards and I wasn't happy and after tip it cost me 400+$ when I told him I wasn't happy with my hair he got defensive and told me my hair should have cost more 420-470 BEFORE the tip. I spoke with the owner as well after expressing my concerns and frustrations of my stylist telling me he didn't want to see me again because "his feelings were hurt cause i disrespected his work and the time he spent" she asked me what the purpose for my call was.... my hair was 4 different colors. I was red before. I was brown roots, pink band, yellow than orange and he let me leave after I had told him "If I died tonight I couldn't have an open casket". The situation was handled so poorly from every aspect when it came to him and the owner I was disappointed because I heard amazing things. I went for haircut only. My stylist was Andrea. She was sweet, I told her what I was going for, I showed her my inspiration picture (attached) she said of course! But I got my hair cut much shorter than what I wanted, it looks nothing like the inspiration picture, it's not even "v" shaped from the back, and she didn't style my hair at the end. She just cut my hair shorter than I asked for, gave me some layers, and that's it, no styling. I had to wait for 20 min to start my haircut, and during the haircut, I had to wait while she took care of another client. I paid almost $80 for this. Matthew does my hair here & I am obsessed. He is super easy to talk to, very professional, and a great hair artist. I started coming here after my hair was messed up from another salon and he fixed it perfect. You can't see any of the bands I have previously had. After we got the color right we added extensions and they are perfect. He explained to me in detail all having extensions entailed and the care and maintenance of them. Once again super professional which I am thankful for. Having blonde hair can be a challenge and I am glad I found someone so great to take care of it and maintain it without it being dead. I'm not one to complain or write reviews, but I've had two negative experiences here. I originally went to Ren to just get a simple color and cut, which I was satisfied with, so I decided to return when I wanted to do fashion color. I scheduled with Ren again, but she was sick so they had me rescheduled with Alexis, and I was told she was a fashion color specialist. I showed her the first photo below as the color inspiration, (Second photo is result) and she reassured me throughout the process that it was looking great and it was going to come out super vibrant. Once she took me to the shampoo bowl I noticed she got really quiet and stopped talking about how good it was going to look. She went to do the cut I let her know I wanted to keep as much length as possible and I do understand there's damage from the lightening process so there did need to be some trimming, but I ended up with these completely uneven layers and my bangs, which had almost grown out, which I also mentioned I wanted to keep them long, were cut short and uneven. She blow dried it and just kept saying "we're gonna make it look cute" which isn't a very reassuring thing to hear. And she just kept taking a razor to my hair and adding all these layers. I mentioned also that I was considering extensions and when she just kept cutting she told me they'd do it anyways with extensions, but I didn't say I was definitely doing that. After my 200 something dollar cut and color I had thin pink/orange hair with layers I didn't want. I decided to sleep on it, because I don't even send my food back at restaurants. I sent an email to the salon letting them know I wasn't happy with my hair, because at this point I felt like I had to cut bangs and get extensions to fix my hair, and they offered to fix it and made me an appointment with the salon owner. She fixed the color, I just decided to go all purple and not risk any unwanted pinks or orange tones. The color turned out cute. There wasn't much to do with the cut because I didn't want to go shorter, but she evened out my bangs so they were at least the same length. Since I liked the color I decided to give them another go and get extensions, they advised me to order the tape ins, so I did and made an appointment with Ren. She colored them and they looked beautiful. She installed them and they looked really nice. I waited the 3 days before washing it like I was instructed, and only used special color shampoo from Bellazza. 2 and a half weeks later they're falling out, taking my hair with it and leaving bald spots (3rd photo is the first extension that came out). I did some research thinking what did I do wrong, but the only things I had done were wash and curl it a handful of times, and everything I read pointed to them being installed incorrectly. I contacted Ren via Instagram to ask her why this was happening almost a week ago, no answer, but it shows when she's active and she posts on her story. I understand if people are busy but if you have time to check Instagram and post then I feel like I'm being ignored. The purple in my hair also washed out after the second or third wash, with their special color protectant shampoo and conditioner. I spent over 600 dollars for hair that lasted me less than 3 weeks and is leaving me with bald spots. I emailed the salon for a refund as I don't live in Tucson anymore, but I haven't heard anything back yet. It also feels like their social media presence is more important to them than customers. While I was in getting my extensions installed, there was a girl getting super special treatment, she was being posted on their live story, and my stylist told me she had a large Instagram following, 15,000 followers or something, and that she called that morning for a last minute appointment, and they bumped all of their appointments that day to get her in. They moved customers who had scheduled appointments, for one person just because they have more followers than an average person. I didn't want to leave this review, but I am 19 and I have bald spots. As someone who gets very insecure about my appearance, this has been a huge struggle for me, and had taken a physical and mental toll on me. Priscilla never showed, I did not receive a call back from her after trying to reach her via text and telephonically. I would be really careful coming to here, especially with certain stylists. They are their own contractors, so if they mess your hair up, their manager won't be able to hold them accountable and some of them might offer to fix it for free, but some of them might not. I first came here because a family friend recommended this place and sadly her stylist wasn't available. They are really nice and welcoming but that's about it. Andrea and Lolli are too good for this place. I wish I got them the first times around. I have curly hair and they used those drugstore comb brushes to brush my hair. It was ROUGH. This was even while I had bleach or dye in my hair. My hair was bleached and colored while it was damp. They didn't use foil or any other brush aside from the comb. It was really weird to me considering I've had my hair worked on several times and people almost always use different brushes for different hair types and foil when dyeing your hair. I was thinking I was being harsh and biased until it got worse. It was so messy, there was dye everywhere on my skin. They were so slow, but every stylist is different so I can understand this, but their hands were constantly shaking. I was not going to let them cut my hair with those hands. There was no communication and they were super awkward the entire time. Only when I got a whole different color on my head did they start talking. I'm not stupid, I've had my hair done before and it's never been this horrible of an experience. They offered to fix it up for free, and I took up the offer, but it did no good except suck any life left in my hair. There's nothing I can do, no refund, no communication, nothing. I wasn't going to say anything until my friend recently told me about her similar experience here with another stylist. It's crazy how they won't talk to you, damage your hair and self esteem, and rob you $300. I have never left a place so depressed. Please, please, think twice before coming here. read more

I came here with the intentions of getting my extensions put in and not having to go back for about 6 to 8 weeks. Well they lasted less than 24 hours!!! I was at the salon from 4pm to 9pm (5 hours) for them to fall apart by the next morning! I texted the stylist and was told she couldn't see me until 5 days later!!!! That day came and I was running late, I texted her telling her I will be about 10 minutes late, I was told "I can't see you then, I'm fully booked, can you come next Tuesday?" I just find this as RUDE! I'm sure they wouldn't have liked to be walking around with extensions falling apart for OVER a week! I paid over $500 for a service that wasn't even amazing like they seem to make themselves look on Instagram! I really didn't want to write a review but unfortunately I've reached out and haven't heard back. I got my hair done by Matthew. I saw his instagram and he seemed really good so I DM'd him on instagram asking to book an appointment but needed help with what to put the appointment under for what I had wanted. I usually never get my hair dyed and I was very nervous , he reassured me with saying "don't worry, you're in good hands." Well... I obviously was not in good hands and didn't realize until 3 days later when I was able to wash my hair. First off, I had not even gotten anything close to what I had asked for and showed him. I had showed him what I wanted 6 days in advance to my appointment and if he was not sure how exactly to do my hair then I would have greatly appreciated his honesty and to just be straight up with me. I was in the salon for 7 hours for something that should have been quite simple and maybe taken a couple hours at most. After this extremely long process, even though my hair had not looked anything close to what I had asked for, it still looked nice so I didn't feel the need to complain. The day after my appointment I had messaged him with a question because it had random pieces of yellow blonde in my hair. I had asked if once I wash my hair with the purple shampoo, he recommended I use, if the blonde would correct itself and he said it would. I then messaged him a couple days later because my hair was entirely yellow blonde and asking for help with what I could do to help the color go back to the ash it was at first. He recommended I put purple shampoo on dry hair for 15-20 minutes and use a conditioner called keracolor cleansditioner in the shade silver. I was very patient and nice during this entire process but it seemed like nothing was helping. I then decided to message him with all of my concerns as i noticed my hair had looked a complete disaster after the 1st day I washed my hair; 3 days after my appointment. I thought my hair color had looked uneven and blonde and it stayed that way no matter what he told me to do. I was so embarrassed to even leave the house because it looked so terrible. I was very self conscious being out in public with my hair looking the way it did. I would start crying every time I saw it. I had followed everything he told me to do very strictly. his response to my concerns was : "Honestly ashy tones don't tend to stick that long, especially fashion colors like grey or silver you really have to maintain it well but I'd be willing to re-tone it for free and we can talk more about what your doing at home that might have made it come out a little too fast". I did everything he told me to do and did it perfectly because it's my hair for goodness sakes; but he blamed me for what I was doing at home when all I did was everything he told me to. So it's apparent he led me in the wrong direction. I appreciate him trying to tone my hair for free but as I had stated earlier I was extremely nervous to get something small to my hair done and he never went over the process of how long colors stick or anything except for that "I am in "good hands". If the silver tones were only going to last 3 days I would have not paid $250 for it. He told me to reach out to Gelly because there was nothing he could do for me and thought she could help me out more. He was wrong once again. I had messaged Gelly and she seemed to agree with me on my hair not looking well done at all and that the situation needed to be fixed. I had even spoken to her on the phone and she said she would talk to the owner and that the owner would call me. The owner which if I am not mistaken is Gelly's twin sister, Lexi. You would think getting ahold of your own sister would not be so difficult; however, I have yet to hear back from Lexi and it has been just 3 days short of a MONTH. My hair was hideous, and is completely damaged from all the bleach that did not need to be used in my hair for what I had asked for. I will never be returning to this location and have made many people aware of this situation so they don't end up in my shoes. Very disappointing, do not waste your time or money here. I had messaged Gelly saying I have no heard back and she left me on seen. I tried calling the salon but no one answered. I come to Bellazza for my lashes and my hair. I tried out a few shops for my lashes when I first moved here and was frustrated with the quality and 2 hours of time it took for a fill since I have a very busy schedule. Then Divina was recommended to me and since my first session I've never gone anywhere else. Divina is absolutely a joy to be around and when I say she's good I mean GOOD! She doesn't waste your time and I won't be going anywhere else and I don't think you should either. Mina is who does my hair here. I'm naturally a brunette and I've been wanting to go blonde. After my first session with Mina I can tell this is a match made in heaven. She fit me in where she had no time and that alone told me I was in good hands. She was someone passionate about what she does. My hair didn't fry and I don't think I've ever loved my hair more! If you want your hair or lashes done you need to go see Divina and Mina. I came here after a recommendation by a friend whose hair always looked 10/10. My stylist was Daisy, and she did beautiful chocolate balayage highlights on me after I expressed to her my concern with bleach since I had a negative experience before (at a different salon). She broke down pricing, where she recommended they begin and end, seriously every question I had she answered very thoroughly and communicated very well. She even went as far as to make sure I approved the color when blow drying, and said if I didn't like it we could make adjustments. Despite the comfortability, I dropped a star because I was here for 5 and a half hours. My appointment was at 1:30pm, but I was sat at 2 because she had another client. No biggy, completely understandable. I went through the bleaching, washing and toning, drying, and styling and left at about 6:30, closer to 7pm. I'm super picky when it comes to my hair. Anytime I get asked what I want done, I explain,show a picture and the results turns out . I came across Alexis and I'm sure glad I did, because she did an absolute AMAZING job. We were intending to go lighter than this but we both came across a surprise from the previous person who did my hair. End results I love the way my hair turned out. I've been going to Matt for the last couple of years now for all my color services and I always leave 100% happy and feeling beautiful! Even after I was afraid I'd ruined all my years of being blonde by box dying my hair dark he was able to get me back to my normal blonde self no problem! literally never had the worst haircut in my life until i came to this place. i had a very specific haircut and style in mind while coming here and while i was asked about these specifics, such as the length of my bangs where i asked for them to be at eye level, then they ended up being ABOVE my eyebrows, or i asked for a white patch in my hair and it ended up dark grey. i had to wait for three hours for the stylist to even get rid of the bleach and dye in my hair for a small patch of hair, mind you, not even a whole head of hair. i also got super overcharged, i was charged for the root touch up of a whole head of hair instead of just a small patch, along with the haircut. i lost my dignity, self esteem, time, and especially money after coming here. now i have to find some way to fix this god awful haircut. just as i thought this place won't cater to your hair needs if it's anything alternative in the slightest, if you don't have long blonde hair ready for it to be just have the ends trimmed off once a year, w a full highlight blowout, don't waste your time. never coming here again or anywhere else for that matter, at this point tucson's hair scene is doomed might as well be better off doing your hair yourself. read more

"Bellazza Blondes" or "Bellazza Bitches"? I am all about valuing your own time and talent, but these girls act like they're celebrity stylists. I booked an appointment two months ahead of time with one of the stylists here. I had to cancel same day because of a family emergency, which I know is an inconvenience. I expected to be charged maybe $50 for the missed appointment but was charged ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Sorry ladies, but nobody's time is THAT valuable. You work in Tucson, Arizona. Not Los Angeles, CA. Quit acting like you're the next hair stylist for Lady Gaga and have some humility. The funniest part about the situation is - this stylist texted me just ONE day before my appointment to ask me if I could switch appointment times. She did this not only ONCE, but THREE times that same day, and I was perfectly understanding about switching times. But when I had to cancel, she said I was no longer allowed to book with her in the future. All I can say is sorry you missed out on someone who gives amazing tips where they're deserved!!! Ultimately your financial loss and the loss of a potential client ‍ I've left reviews before and I'll say it again, this place really lacks in customer service because they're under the impression that they're "above par" hair artistry skills are enough to get them by. Got my hair cut and styled for my birthday by Daisy, I was so impressed on how she did my hair. I have very curly textured hair and it's normally hard for stylist to straighten my hair properly. But daisy did a fabulous job, glad I have someone I trust in Tucson to do my hair now. She also does an amazing job with coloring hair, I personally haven't had my hair colored by her but will definitely go to her for that in the future. The vibe of the salon is also amazing, it's very clean and they have drinks and snacks while you're waiting. I recommend daisy and all my friends to this salon! read more
