Wade Duncan is a great sales rep. He always makes sure you get a great deal and doesn't pressure you into something you do not want.

He had gone to a large majority of dealerships, and was not happy with either the truck, the service, or both. He made the 1.5 hour drive from their home to Lancaster, and as soon as they stepped on the lot and were greeted, they knew this trip would be the one. They initially bought a used 2017 Silverado. Absolutely loved it. They signed the paperwork on a Tuesday, and were set to pick it up on Saturday. Well, Wednesday my father in law had gotten a call from another dealer, with a very competitive and enticing offer. He called up Gary Whittaker immediately and told him the situation. Gary worked his magic, and was able to get my father in law an even better deal on a BRAND NEW SILVERADO. They made some changes, Gary worked even more magic, and traded the paperwork in on the 2017, and walked away with the 2019! The truck of his dreams! Gary spent so much time with them to make sure that they understood every aspect of their new vehicle (which was no easy task) and was just an absolute JOY! My husband had gone with his dad to pick up his new truck and got to talking with the Sales Manager Brian, and explained to him that my husband was looking to purchase me a new truck for my birthday. I had a VERY specific F150 that I was looking for. We had given up on buying right now, because we were just not able to find it. My husband took Gary's number, and they remained in contact over the next couple of days. And Gary called my husband with the best news! Brian and Gary worked their magic AGAIN, and were able to locate my DREAM TRUCK! My husband was so impressed with these two, and their dedication to us, and finding exactly what we wanted! We ended up buying ourselves a brand new Ford F-150 just one week after my husband's father bought his Silverado. We picked up my truck just before my birthday, and to my surprise, my husband had a bouquet of flowers waiting for me in the truck all with the help of Gary! He went out of his way, and above and beyond for our entire (difficult, and picky) family and we are so grateful for him! And Brian too! Thank you to everyone at Les Mack for these AMAZING experiences! We will always recommend you to everyone!

He bought his car about a year ago from the hazel green location and paid for the warranty they suggested. He's used his warranty before for a turbo issue 6 months ago and had 0 issues. Well the check engine light came on again and the turbo was the problem again so he took it in. The service manager almost did not want to run the warranty it was like pulling teeth to get him to put in any sort of claim or make sure it was covered. After a day of them having his car my finacé asked for a loaner car while they figured out the warranty issue and got met with "we don't do that" so he took his car back, but they do offer loaners and ended up giving him one the next day when he brought his car back. When they started working on his car they found an issue that was apparently caused by an accident that had happened before he bought the car so the warranty wouldn't cover it, even though the accident happened before he bought the car from the previous owner and he was assured that the bumper damage was just cosmetic. We understood that since he's had the car for a year and the issue didn't present until now there was nothing they could do and just asked them to do the work covered under the warranty because they quoted $1600 to replace the radiator that was broken from the accident and we can't afford that so we're going to shop around for possibly cheaper options. Well they refused to do the warranty work because the radiator apparently caused the turbo issue since the brackets were broken and it rubbed through a hose and they werent going to put a broken part back in. He said he understood told them put his car back together he was going to look elsewhere. He then goes to pick up his car and they give him a bill for almost $800 for only taking the bumper on and off. When he asked for an itemized bill they got annoyed but gave it to him. Well they charged parts on there that they never installed and claimed they "forgot to take off". Well he still ended up paying $600 for 3.5 hours of labor to remove and put on his bumper. When he asked them why the diagnostic test to remove the bumper and put it back on (because the damage could not be seen until the bumper was off) wasn't covered by the warranty he was told that "im not gonna run that claim" My fiance then paid went to his car called the warranty himself and they said it should have been covered so he went back in to the show room to ask for a manager. Someone asked if they could help him he asked to speak with a manager. They went and got a manager who then just took him back to the service area where the service manager rolled their eyes and said "I'm not dealing with this f**** s*** anymore I'll call the warranty myself" and the other manager just walked away after that. When he called the warranty he only asked if they covered collision damage, which obviously they said no, so my fiance tried asking him to check about the labor hours for the bumper removal and he just kept interrupting him until the service manager said "he wasn't going to do that because it wasn't worth it". Things got more heated and kept going back and forth until my finacé gave up and left. I tried calling today to lodge a customer service complaint that initially seemed to be taken seriously until they went and talked to the service manager who said my fiance blew up when he was simply trying to explain why the warranty wouldn't cover the radiator and that my fiance stormed into the show room and interrupted the other manager while he was helping a customer and threw papers in his face all of which didn't happen. So now we are both banned from all locations because "they treat all their customers with respect and expect the same in return" tell me what's being respectful to your customers in any of the situation I explained above.

The last repair needed was my throttle control sensor came on. They charged me 30.00 for a tube of sealant which could have been bought next door at IWI for 8.00. Adeline called me on 3 occasions to say my vehicle needed more work. this is how their technicians notes read. previous estimate amount 148.19. additional cost 1122.93 revised estimate 1271.12, parts 345.38 labor 679.28. taxes and fees 98.27. revision #2 previous estimate amount 1260.14. additional cost 657.23, revised estimate 1917.37. parts 392.80 labor 190.44. taxes and fees 73.99. While talking with Adeline and the amounts keep changing I was so confused. More work to be done was added and at NO TIME did Adeline tell me the parts alone would come to 853.43. She assured me they would save me money on labor and they would try to save me money on parts. If she had told me the final billing I would have not approved all the work they told me I needed. The vehicle is a 2005 Dodge Caliber and to put 1,955.13 in repairs is ridiculous. There was an oil change done and I had to take the car back 3 times because of an oil leak. I felt they did work that wasn't necessary as they know I am living on retirement and would never see putting that much money to fix it. So I took my billing statement to another mechanic. He talked with the Dodge dealer and they both agreed that they had overcharged me 22.00 in that tube of sealant (of which we asked to give it to us and the mechanic told us it was on his work bench...so he went to get it and it wasn't there). And they also bill by the hourly rate there. If the Chilton book they use to calculate labor rates says to replace a part and says it will take 4.1 hours BUT they are in the same area to replace a different part and the book says 1.23 and the third part calls for 1.12 hours each hour is charged. My mechanic went in with me and asked AJ why they did this on my billing. AJ had no answer to that. I explained to AJ that I was never told about the TOTAL billing to fix the car and was always told a different total over the phone. Adeline had no answer for me either except that she assumed I knew what was going on. AJ ended up giving me a credit of 53.89 off of parts and 148.73 off labor. The next day my check engine light came on and being I had to take my vehicles back because the repairs were not done correctly I assumed that they messed up again. They did a diagnosis check engine light to find that my spark plugs needed to be replaced, my right blinker switch was bad, that my battery hold down was missing, and my rear window blade was ripped. This was an extra 109.37. These type of repairs should have been found with this last service call. I took my business to another mechanic who said the switch is faulty but I just need to push it up a little more to make it stay in place (it gets the job done), the battery hold down piece was laying in front of the battery so he put that on (NO CHARGE), and my window blade didn't need to be replaced (NOW). My estimate from Pinks was to be right around $244. I had the 4 spark plugs replaced at 27.00 for labor and 35.20 for parts. (65.62). Now on to the motorhome. I had a backfire to it and Pinks had it in the shop on 4 occasions put parts on it and finally said it doesn't backfire when they took it out and they couldn't fix it. They also said the motorhome needed a new oil pan as it has a leak. Which is ironic because for some reason all my vehicles I took in there had this problem. I have driven this motorhome for two years now and have only put 2 quarts of oil in. They wanted to charge me 443.00 for just the pan. The mechanic I spoke to earlier told me that I could add a lot of oil in manually for much less than what they were. Im so glad that these other two mechanics are honest and truthful. I appreciated the fact that Pinks would pick up my vehicle and drop it off when completed. That was a convenience but their billing and telling the customer ... in my case ... mis-information is not right. And one last thing. I was approved to make payments on any repair work I had done at Pinks. I didn't just pay them so much per month...I paid them my extra money I had each month or if I sold anything on my craft and flea market shows they got that money so to pay them off faster. On this last bill of $1,955.13 I was told I needed to pay 853.42 for the parts (which I did) and they wanted the rest right away. I spoke to AJ when the mechanic and I went into his office and he said yes I needed to pay in full. It is impossible for me to pay that amount right away so I receive a billing statement each money and now they are charging me a 10.00 finance charge on the balance. I would suggest anyone doing business with Pink's auto to get a written estimate either by picking it up or them send it to you for comparison with others
