Just got an oil change, tire rotation and two air filters replaced. My bill was $288.25. I noticed I Was charged $70.92 to replace the cabin air filter so I took it out and got the part number and looked it up on amazon. This took me 3 min to do. The labor charge for them to do this was $30 and the filter on Amazon is $7.99. I was charged $38.82. All together for the two air filters I was charged $171.32 without tax. lol read more

After a lot of debate and contacting Rundes directly to lodge a complaint I've decided to write this review to warn others about the poor customer service that my finacé received at the service center at the Platteville location. He bought his car about a year ago from the hazel green location and paid for the warranty they suggested. He's used his warranty before for a turbo issue 6 months ago and had 0 issues. Well the check engine light came on again and the turbo was the problem again so he took it in. The service manager almost did not want to run the warranty it was like pulling teeth to get him to put in any sort of claim or make sure it was covered. After a day of them having his car my finacé asked for a loaner car while they figured out the warranty issue and got met with "we don't do that" so he took his car back, but they do offer loaners and ended up giving him one the next day when he brought his car back. When they started working on his car they found an issue that was apparently caused by an accident that had happened before he bought the car so the warranty wouldn't cover it, even though the accident happened before he bought the car from the previous owner and he was assured that the bumper damage was just cosmetic. We understood that since he's had the car for a year and the issue didn't present until now there was nothing they could do and just asked them to do the work covered under the warranty because they quoted $1600 to replace the radiator that was broken from the accident and we can't afford that so we're going to shop around for possibly cheaper options. Well they refused to do the warranty work because the radiator apparently caused the turbo issue since the brackets were broken and it rubbed through a hose and they werent going to put a broken part back in. He said he understood told them put his car back together he was going to look elsewhere. He then goes to pick up his car and they give him a bill for almost $800 for only taking the bumper on and off. When he asked for an itemized bill they got annoyed but gave it to him. Well they charged parts on there that they never installed and claimed they "forgot to take off". Well he still ended up paying $600 for 3.5 hours of labor to remove and put on his bumper. When he asked them why the diagnostic test to remove the bumper and put it back on (because the damage could not be seen until the bumper was off) wasn't covered by the warranty he was told that "im not gonna run that claim" My fiance then paid went to his car called the warranty himself and they said it should have been covered so he went back in to the show room to ask for a manager. Someone asked if they could help him he asked to speak with a manager. They went and got a manager who then just took him back to the service area where the service manager rolled their eyes and said "I'm not dealing with this f**** s*** anymore I'll call the warranty myself" and the other manager just walked away after that. When he called the warranty he only asked if they covered collision damage, which obviously they said no, so my fiance tried asking him to check about the labor hours for the bumper removal and he just kept interrupting him until the service manager said "he wasn't going to do that because it wasn't worth it". Things got more heated and kept going back and forth until my finacé gave up and left. I tried calling today to lodge a customer service complaint that initially seemed to be taken seriously until they went and talked to the service manager who said my fiance blew up when he was simply trying to explain why the warranty wouldn't cover the radiator and that my fiance stormed into the show room and interrupted the other manager while he was helping a customer and threw papers in his face all of which didn't happen. So now we are both banned from all locations because "they treat all their customers with respect and expect the same in return" tell me what's being respectful to your customers in any of the situation I explained above. read more

Had a wonderful experience working with John Riley. I provided him with a stock number of a truck and within the hour he had two quotes for me to review and look at. Next day I drove to look at them both as he had them side by side for me with keys inside. I was told to look them over, test drive them and let him know what I think. I made the purchase of a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab with only 2 miles on it. During the process they sent me up the road to have lunch on them and afterwards we finished the paperwork and then I received a goodie bag. The experience was absolutely awesome. The east Dubuque Runde suck they don't call you back when they say. They are very slow and I've called them multiple times and they don't answer. Very poor service in finance department. I called different dealership in Dubuque they had me approved in minutes. Do not recommend Runde after waiting since 8am for call back and it's now 4:30pm and no call so tomorrow the other dealership has me covered read more

The Worst Dealership EVER! They do not stand behind their pre-owned certification. DO NOT BUY from this dealer. We bought a 2019 GMC Duramax certified used with 22K miles on it. After owning the vehicle for 3 month and putting 8 k miles on it, both front control arms were broke. The passenger side control arm snapped in half while we turning a corner at 30 mph. After being towed and inspected by a GMC certified mechanic at a GMC dealership, we were told that due to the amount of rust that the control arm had been cracked long before we bought it and clearly was missed on certification inspection. Upon contacting both GM and Runde about the issue neither would cover the cost even though warranty was still good on the truck. read more

I purchased 2 non- electrical parts from them. at no time did they tell me if I ordered the wrong parts or didn't need them there would be a large re-stocking fee. it turned out I didn't need the 2 parts. when I called to tell them I didn't need the parts, I was 1st told it would be a 35% restocking fee. there were no signs at the parts desk stating this nor was I told by the parts employee. I then requested to talk with the general manager and was told he would call me. instead the parts guy called me and said he was wrong and it would be 25% fee and that it was on my invoice. I said you didn't give me the invoice until after I paid and never said anything about it to me. it was on the invoice in small lettering at the very bottom. I then called and ask for the general manager and discussed the same thing with him and he said the parts guy was wrong and it is 35%. they can't even get the fee correct. I informed both how it was wrong not to inform people of the crazy fee until there is an issue. I then told both I would be completing a review on yelp. they both said go ahead. my advice to any one reading this review is think long and hard about buying anything from this dealer. I am afraid to think how they would treat you on a new vehicle purchase. I would advise people to buy their parts from a parts store as I have never had any issues with a parts store like this. auto zone and oreillys know how to treat customers. they even loan you tools for free to install the part if needed. needless to say I will never give them any warranty work, buy any parts and never ever buy a vehicle from them. you have been warned of what you have to look forward to. read more
