I need to share my experience to warn you about the unethical practices of this shop. I was traveling back to Idaho from a fishing trip on the peninsula when I noticed something wrong with my boat trailer just as I was driving into Aberdeen. The guys at Les Schwab said I'd need a new axle, and the whole process would take several days, so I had no choice but to go back to Boise and leave my boat and trailer. After a LOT of back-and-forth about the repair over the phone, where I was doing most of the problem-solving, they finally ordered the axle and agreed to have it fixed the following Saturday. I checked with the shop on Friday to be SURE everything was ready to go before making the 550 mile trek again. Darren said it was a go. While I was arriving in Portland and turning north on I-5, the shop called to say the supplier sent the wrong axle. I had to turn around and drive 8 hours back to Boise. I found out after contacting Les Schwab headquarters, that the shop actually ordered the wrong axle. The shop manager Daryl had lied when they blamed the supplier for sending the wrong part. The store had ordered a 79" axle and my trailer is a 89". Instead of just coming clean and admitting they had made a mistake, Daryl made up a really stupid completely unbelievable lie. I spent 15 hours of driving and $350 in gas and lodging to pick up my trailer, only to have to turn around and then drive back again the next weekend. They also insisted that they must make a profit even after their mistake and charged me double what the axle cost according to the PAPERWORK I insisted that they give me. The axle cost them $200 and they charged me $399. They still charged me freight after they ordered the wrong axle. To add insult to injury, they attached the left wheel fender crooked and 15 gallons of gas was mysteriously missing from my boat fuel tank! The whole experience was a nightmare and not what I have come to expect from working with a formerly reputable company like Les Schwab. The store manager Daryl is a liar, unethical,and a terribly dumb person. Tim, the customer service rep at corporate, who at least admitted that the store manager had lied to me and agreed to allow me to have the original paperwork to prove the lie, was no better when I said that I wanted him to make things right to avoid small claims court. It was my bad luck that my trailer broke down so far from home, but I think they should have reimbursed me for the mistake they made instead of trying to cover it up with lies. Do not---let me say this again---do not go into this store. I'll bet old Les would be less then proud to have his name attached to the people in this shop. read more

My grandfather took me here, my father took me here and I always enjoyed growing up the service of this company. But the pricing is insane... You're looking at over twice as expensive as other shops around town. Les Schwab needs to figure its values out. read more

That harassing tire warning sensor came on when I was in Aberdeen so I thought I should check it out. I was helped by the the friendliest guy on the planet who was kind and conversational. He told me my back tire was low on air, I asked why, and he offered to check and repair it FOR FREE!! I was suspect because no one does anything for free these days! He found a nail! I have a fear of being stranded on any number of deserted highways in my area so it felt like he saved my life! Incredibly kind, helpful, life-saving and FREE! Did I say FREE? Thank you! read more

Yesterday i found a slow leak in a rear driver side tire and discovered a nail in the tire. It was down to about 2o pounds but i was able to drive the ten miles into town. It was late when i got to the Les Schwab tire center in Aberdeen like 3:30pm. They were really busy, but Daryl and Kevin were able to get me in. I had to drive to Seattle the next day so was kind of under the gun. Because it was a brand they carried they did not even charge me. Thanks again guys. Really a life saver. In response to Joe. I'm sorry you feel you are powerless over the local populace. But you are not. Under Washington State Laws, once an employee asks anyone to leave the store and they refuse, that's trespassing. You have the power to call 911 and request for local law enforcement, to remove the individual. Also, having a sign on the door that states "bathrooms, wifi and lobby are for customers only", will also detour people who aren't paying customers. I feel for the homeless, but the man I encountered at your store on Friday, is ridiculous. As a paying customer I should be made to feel comfortable with all of your guests, paying or not and I shouldn't have a vagrant harassing me. I will never go to your store again. I will go to the Hoquiam store. If I ever break down in front of your store and need a tire, I will tow my car elsewhere due to your lack of customer safety. read more

Used them for alignment on my F-350 4x4. Good job Just needed tires for GMC 1500 4x4. Their prices are always $50-100 PER TIRE more than Costco or Walmart for the same tires. This time they had a new trade in set from a tire and wheel upgrade. Price was the same as Walmart and Costco. We bought the tires. Good service read more

I have been bringing my vehicles here for years. Less Schwab stores have the best customer service, hands down. I buy tires, batteries, brakes, and shocks here. I had to return my truck for a battery I bought from them. I told them I was having difficulty starting in the morning. They ran a few tests on the batteries and told me everything looked good, but they were going to replace them anyways. They replaced both batteries, and apologized for my inconvenience. I stop in whenever I need air in my tires, but today was disappointing. I knew there was a leak in the front right tire, and the guy came out and tried to tell me I needed to spend almost $400 to repair a tire already on its last legs. These jokers must think they see a woman coming, let's see if we can take advantage of her. They learned differently today that they messed with the wrong woman. I'm not stupid and have more education and intelligence in my big toe than these dudes have in their entire bodies or ever hope to have. They should be ashamed of themselves. I called the dealership where I purchased my vehicle and put this fool on the phone with them. I have been a customer here for the store 420 E heron Aberdeen wa for over 20 years have always received great service but my last 3 visits haven't been the same. Not sure what is happening. Not pleased with the service I received. I went in for a tire-pressure warning. They didn't check over my tires. They just filled it with air even though I was communicating it was not the problem. Less than two weeks later, the light went on. I went back in told them the indicator light was back on. They suggest I replace the back two tires. Ok, I did it. Less than two days later, as I'm heading on my vacation the light comes back on and I have a flat. So three tires later, the problem is solved. read more

I am providing an update to this whole mess. The second tire that Les Schwab put on has gone flat in the exact same manner as the first almost 2 weeks apart. You can bet that I will be seeking all legal means necessary to get my $209.63 back from this company PLUS the cost ($120) of having to have the same two tires replaced. This company suckered me into a NONEXISTENT Lifetime Warranty only to have both tires go flat and this company wanting to charge me $105 PLUS additional costs associated with new tires that they GUARANTEED. If you ever hear Les Schwab tell you "You will never have to worry about out-of-pocket expenses if something happens to your tires that they put on"....RUN - It is LIE and a Deceptive Business Practice they use to get your business!!!!!! read more

The service I experienced today was horrible. I went in for a tire rotation and mount/dismount and they clearly ruined two of my wheels with their mounting machine. When I attempted to speak with the manager about this he was rude, disrespectful and just kept saying their machine would never do any damage. Would not recommend this shop to anybody. I have gone there about 6 times and there is always a reason why they can't do what needs to be done even after being told and quoted prices and then waiting they ALWAYS come back and tell me "no we Can't do it" or then tell me another more expensive price. So then I call to complain and ask to speak to the manager and the manager then tells me the real reason stating " they could not put it on for price i was quoted because I didn't purchase my brand new tire from them". Even though when I walked in asked if they could put my brand new tire on my car and asked price i was quoted $21 then they came back and said $44 because tire was Brand new and not purchased from them. Went in the morning of the 5th of July to get a trailer tire as we camped on the side of the freeway waiting for them to open. We had broken out tire to a flat that we just purchased from a Les Schwab tire in Maple Valley Wa just 4days prior. We received no discount but moved on just happy to be heading home. We placed the tire n proceeded to Elma to the next Les Schwab to have them torched, when the attendant said good thing you came in this new tire is at 40lbs but it's supposed to be at 80lbs! Very poor service! I had a flat tire on my trailer and needed it fixed. We was on a logging road in the Olympics and took it off and went to Aberdeen. We got into Aberdeen and I told them I had a flat could they get it fixed. The lady told me yes it would be few minutes. I told her ok! I did let her know I was stuck on a road in the Olympic national forest and needed it repair so we could get back before dark. She acknowledge and said it would just be a few minutes. I waited 10 minute and went outside to let my wife know what was going on. They had not even came out to get tire. In the mean time I started observing the employees playing around in the shop and not working. I watch one employee toss another a wrench and laugh about it. They had two people working on one tire. This is not the service I have received over the years doing business Les Schwab. They usually take customer service serious. I went into the office and told them about it and all she said wait your turn. She could care less if the customer was getting help. So I went out to go and someone came running out to get the tire. I ask him if this is normal to mess around in the shop and he laugh and said they just try to keep things lite hearted. This is not normal for Les Schwab and he said here it is.
