When leaving work a few nights ago, I realized that one of my tires had drastically dropped in pressure compared to the other tires. This Les Schwab was able to fit me in the same night without an appointment (and right before closing), found a nail in my tire, and patched the nail. Everything was done within 30 minutes, and they did not end up charging me anything for the patch. I have used Les Schwab for my tires for years and will definitely be returning to this location! I went to Les Schwab in Bellevue and I'm beyond frustrated. I only asked for an alignment check, not an adjustment. Even if my car needed it, I would NOT have done it that day because I had to get to work. Instead, they started the job without asking, made me late, and then told me I'd have to come back to finish a service I never wanted -- and pay for it too. It's hard to explain how angry I was. Waited an hour for them to tell me that I needed new tires. I had low psi because of a screw in my tire and just wanted it fixed but of course they tried to sell me new tires and just wasted my time. Took it to Costco and it was done in 30 minutes. Maybe I got unlucky with the guy that helped me because I've heard from others he just tries to sell you things. Got a screw in a tire driving through a construction zone. It was long and went in sideways so had to get both rear tires replaced. They didn't have the tire size in stock but told me they could get it delivered over. Took two hours to have them changed out. I have been going to Les Schwab since I started driving in 2014, my frequency increased in 2017 when I owned a Toyota Sienna and really wanted to make that car last! I took my car to Les Schwab about as often as I would get my oil changed, just because I wanted to make sure it all looked good. Les Schwab was always willing and encouraging of me taking it in to have the wheels/brakes/etc. inspected! For years, I was rarely, if ever, charged for their services! Fast forward to today, 2024! I got into a small accident and drove to my nearest Les Schwab right before closing. I called ahead and they were willing to wait for me, and even take a look before they all went home. When I arrived, they took my car back, and Mike came out and gave me a quote of all the work that would be required, and prefaced that there might be more once they lift it (in the AM). I really appreciated Mike's delivery and his setting of expectations! That is so important! :) Les Schwab worked on my vehicle in a timely fashion. I did receive a call, and they notified me that the work is done. They also notified me that my back wheels camber was out of spec. They provided a quote shy of $600 (after already spending about $$$6-hundo!) Their recommendation was to replace the factory part with the after-market part. Since the work wasn't necessarily urgent, and I could continue to drive my car but it would cause wear on my tires. We decided to get a second opinion! I picked up my car and drove it to our new friend's tire shop, his team inspected the rear wheels and made some adjustments to correct the camber. The spec is 2 degrees, my tires were 1.8 and 2.5. Overall, it was an easy fix, and after a few hundred miles I'll take it back in to check on the camber, and see if the factory part is causing it to go out of spec again. So apparently a couple years ago, Les Schwab died, and his kids took over the business, and sold it to some bug conglomerate... so it's all about making money these days! I figure this is why they tried to sell me on an unnecessary part when they could have just repositioned my wheels back to spec camber and asked me to keep my eyes on it, and if it continued then they could have recommended that part. Overall! The people at Les Schwab are still as awesome as ever, just different motives these days! So be cautious! Get a second opinion! I just would like to say Less Schwab is not what it used to be. Service sucks you wait and wait for your vehicle to get into a bay when bays are open. If you stop for air check you have to go into the counter because no one comes out to help you. The last 2 sets of 4 truck tires never made it to the mileage rated for the tire not even halfway. Then you have to argue for a discount on the next set. I have 3 vehicles that have Schwab tires and when I replace them it will not be with Schwab tires. The 2 stores I delt with are one in Longview wa the other in Woodland wa both equal bad service bad quality. Les Schwab has sold me and a lot of other folks their last tire. If you want tires mounted on say an ATV you pay even if you have the tires and three vetches with Schwab tires on them, you still pay I guess your business with them means nothing Good by Less Schab read more

This is the most dishonest tire shop I've ever encountered. I bought my tires here, trusting the "Les Schwab #1 Customer Satisfaction" promise. I recently found a major sidewall issue, aka a "grenade", and took it to this shop for replacement (it was clearly not repairable.) I went in and the tech at the counter (who I'll keep anonymous) immediately grabbed a tread depth gauge and ran out to measure my tire. He told me that the remaining test was under 2mm, and therefore my damage was not covered by warranty. He quoted me $1,500 for a new set of tires because "they were all in the same condition." I went outside and went online to look at the exact same tires on Costco.com, and their price was $1,200. When I went back in and showed the tech the Costco price, he said that didn't price match Costco. But he played with the pricing and brought his down to $1,300. I went home to do more research. The first thing I did was grab my own tire gauge, and ALL 4 of my tires were no less then 5mm (inside, middle, and outside) of tread depth! That's at least another year of wear, plus the tire should have been covered by Les Schwab's warranty! Less Schwab (not a typo) has lost all of my business forever, as well as that of my son, daughter, and all of their friends. I will be buying my tires at Costco from now on. read more

Went with my mom to get new tires at 8 am Saturday (9/20/2020). We were grumpy and sleepy so I didn't expect this to go well. In fact, while watching late-night Netflix, we talked about rescheduling. We didn't because it was way too late notice even without Greater Seattle-resident manners. We met this really sweet younger woman at the desk who had just moved from Oregon to Washington. She was great! Professional, knowledgeable, considerate, patient, completely non-stressful, or fixated on sales. She even left the desk and did the hands-on check of our tread-wear. I was really impressed with her tire knowledge and skills. She walked us in a thoughtful way, thru the differences between the lower and next higher price tires. (They were only 5% more but included an additional 20,000-mile coverage on the warranty. ) I have been to different Les Schwaab locations four or more times and always had good experiences! This Bel-Red road location was as good or better than my previous visits. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Les Schwaab to my friends, fellow Yelpers, and anyone else. read more

Came in for a leak in my tire that my car dealership couldn't find the source for. I was suspicious when Les Schwab said they immediately found the puncture, said it was not repairable, and recommended replacing all four tires (all wheel drive) quoted $1000. I decided to get a second opinion down the road at a competitor. They said the puncture was so small it didn't even show up on the dunk tank - but they finally located it and repaired it for $30. read more

My wife and I were on our way home from vacation and towing our tent trailer on I-5 S/B. At about 80 Ave in Greenlake area one of my trailer tires blew out and I was able to get off I-5 onto 80th. I was out attempting to change the tire without the proper equipment of course, when a Les Schwab tire truck pulled up behind me. Alfredo Gaytan from the Bellevue store jumped out and told me he was on his way home driving in the opposite direction direction when he saw me and he U turned and came to assist. I will give this place 10 stars if I could. The mechanic Alfredo is the best one there who helped me with my brake check service but went above and beyond to inform me the other issues with my car. He was able to take me out to my car and show me the specific parts that would also need to be replaced and in detail why with out feeling like he was trying to rip me off. Got a nail in one of my tires... Had to drop off the car at 8am to get it in "standby" because appointments booked until Jan. Told it was going to be 60-90 mins. Waited 150 mins later, no action. Told it was going to need another 3 hours and to come back. Bought two tires with warranty 14,000 miles ago, one got a nail. No replacement offered. Spoke to Al (technician) who tried to lie to me and tell me 20,000 miles were driven on the tires (I write everything down myself). Then offered me a price for two new tires that was $200 more than Discount Tires next door to them. I see a lot of old folks in there and I bet they get away with ripping a lot of them off. I had blown a tire on i405 outside of Lynnwood and was on my way to Tacoma this past weekend. I am from the other side of the state and had no idea where to pull over or where to even start. Once I did pull over I had a look I saw that Les Schwab Bellevue was only a few miles away. The tire was completely flat and I was unable to drive on it. The staff that took my call were understanding and listened to my situation and were quick to render assistance. They asked for my location and said they would have someone there to assist with changing the tire or fix it so I could be on my way. A short time later Alfredo the repair person called and asked for the address I was at. I gave it to him and he was there 5 minutes later. I am not one that knows how to change a tire, let alone how to drop the spare from under my wife's SUV. Alfredo did all of this while I watched. He not only put the spare tire on, but he checked all my other tires pressure and then showed and marked where the hole was so when I got home I could show Les Schwab here. He then loaded the bad tire in the SUV and pointed me in the right direction and wished me a great evening. The guy was so polite and understanding and didn't waste any time servicing my car. I don't generally take time to write reviews but in this instance it was imperative. This store and their staff went above and beyond to take care of my mis-fortune. I love this place! Ten days ago I got 4 new tires here. At the time, I only had one hubcap, and I had some on order from elsewhere. Today I was out and about and popped in to see if they could put them on for me as I am a bit gimpy. The woman at the counter was a doll and Chris came out within a minute and took care of it in under two minutes. I would have waited, it being a busy Saturday afternoon, but they went above and beyond and I was on my way in no time. That, my friends, is exceptionally good customer service. They have a loyal customer in me. am an older, single woman. My tires had steel showing through and I have several long trips on my agenda. I HAD to buy tires. Having had a HUGELY disappointing experience with their nearby competitor (who tried to bait and switch me), it was a DELIGHT to deal with the folks at Les Schwab. I haven't bought tires in years. It's weird to me that the first place had no tires in their "showroom"and you bought your tires on-line and brought them to your appointment. They tried to sell me studded snow tires in MAY when I asked for all-season ones that were suddenly sold out (after I thought I had pre-ordered them on their confusing website). And they said it would take 20 minutes to mount and balance my tires. That seems unrealistic unless you're on a NASCAR pit crew. When I walked into Les Schwab, I could smell the rubber. They had tires in the showroom or you could order online. They sold me 4 reasonably priced all-season tires, and I got them mounted and balanced. Loved that they didn't patronize me or try and up-sell me, that they checked brakes, and that they gave realistic time frames since I dropped the car off at lunch and was relying on a coworker to drive me back. The warranty was great, and the free flat fix and rotations are thoughtful. I walked in wanting to pay no more than about $125 per tire or about $500-$550 out the door. Best $514.69 I have spent in a while. I didn't know about the sensor monitors tires now have (I told you it's been years since I bought tires!) which added $31.96, or I'd have been UNDER projected costs! Went into this place to have my tire checked and waited over an hour and car had not even been looked at . Tire pressure was at 20psi ... when I asked how long it may take I was told it would be 3-4 hrs longer ... they close at 6 pm and it was mid afternoon . The guy at the front desk was not very polite and he seemed very annoyed to help anyone . I asked him if I could get some air out in so I could go to someone else who may want to help .... He gladly tossed my keys to me !! Went a block down the street to discount tires ! They are awesome and always helpful. They were short staffed like many businesses but pleasant ! They got my tire fixed even though they stayed past their closing time to help out ! I'll never use les Schwab again read more

Did my tires lead winter. It was 500 over any other shop and damaged my rims. The car was poorly balanced and would shake like hell for 55 mph. I took it back and they gave me an appointment after five weeks. They acknowledged the tire was not balanced. I showed the identical damage around the cap area on all four wheels. They lied. Don't go there. They are incompetent and will damage your wheels and lie to you. read more

I have waited some time to write this review to be sure my feelings didn't change but I keep coming back to the same thought... Gosh, the service at this location just isn't great. I have always had good service when using other Les Schwab centers so it was surprising. I'll start by saying I know nothing about wheels and tires and that probably made it more difficult for them when I visited the store on 2 different occasions with interest in purchasing new wheels and tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't know materials, wheel size or the difference in tires so I was really needing the team members to help educate me and I have a feeling that may have impacted the experience. That being said- on 2 separate occasions, months apart, I visited the store and had conversations with different guys about generally what I was looking for. Both times they spent time trying to figure out what I had in mind and then told me my option would be limited because I have a Jeep but took my phone # and said they would do some research on available options and get back to me. That is where it ended.... I have never been contacted and Im still looking for some new wheels and tires, haha! I think Ill try another company this time but I might need to go to a specialty shop. I never knew Jeeps where so difficult to outfit with wheels. read more
