Probably one of my easiest reviews to do. Thanks to the great yelp reviews and some word of mouth from coworkers, deciding where to start servicing my truck, for the first and ongoing services here in Washington, will be Morgan Motors, very simple, needed a basic service, oil change, and tire rotation. Easy call, make an appointment, took my truck right in, and less than an hour, ready to go again. Conveniently located, near shopping and food, you can go grab something while you wait or just enjoy a sweet dogs company in the waiting area. Staff is very friendly and courteous, listening to them, both on the phone and in person dealing with peoples car issues patiently and with great knowledge. They know what they're doing.. Well! I called to get a quote on an oil change and the person who answered was very informative and quickly got me scheduled in. When I went in, they promptly took my car keys and went to work. I decided to sit in the lobby and wait. It was tidy and easy to relax in. The oil change took about 45 minutes, and the customer service was great! They took care of my scheduled oil change while I walked over to Burger King for an a.m. snack and coffee. They provided the extra oil that my 2017 Subaru Outback needs, and with not a cheap aftermarket, but an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) oil filter. They also honored my expired coupon price, despite higher costs of oil and OEM filter, plus the added cost of the extra quart of oil that other places usually pass along to me. We brought our car here due to an engine knocking noise. Then the manager there proceeded to insult my wife by stating that she has a history of neglecting her oil changes and even wrote it on the final billing documentation. He decided to give this unsolicited assessment with no knowledge of the history of the vehicle and assumed that just because they have not changed the oil themselves, that must automatically mean that we did not get the oil change in that period of time. Heaven forbid someone actually changes their own oil, apparently that doesn't count. Then he doubled down when I called him out on it and said "I didn't say anything to her that wasn't a fact". If you want to do business with an old-school misogynistic manager, then this is the place for you. read more

I had an amazing experience at Morgan Motors! I am very impressed with the integrity and flexibility of Morgan Motors. As someone who knows nothing about cars (and has been unnecessarily up sold way too many times), I've always wary of auto shops. So imagine my dread when our brand new family van started to make very loud noises after I ran over a crowbar on the freeway going around 65 MPH. My heard sank as I didn't know exactly what the damage was but imagined it could be very costly to repair. After looking on Yelp, I decided to go with Morgan Motors as they had glowing reviews. The reviews were right! Kip was able to squeeze me in the same day, and David helped me when I arrived. David and his team quickly and thoroughly assessed the damage and provided repair options. To my surprise, he recommended to repair the existing piece instead of replacing it. This significantly cuts down the time and cost of the repair, and now my car drives likes as if nothing happened! Really care about costumers! They don't overcharge... 100% I'd recommend making this the place you choose for any vehicle needs!! We were camping at the Tall Chief campground in nearby Fall City when our Nissan Xterra decided to not turn over. We got a jumpstart and went to O'Reilly auto parts store to have the battery checked. The guy told us we needed to replace the battery and alternator. I did a quick Yelp search and saw Morgan Motors and called them to see if they could check it out. They said bring it on over and he would fit us in - no guarantee of finishing it today, but he would try. We dropped it off and he gave us a tip for a nearby pub to eat and grab a beer. This marked my very first visit to Morgan Motors. My van needed an oil change. Kip promised me it would only take 30-40 minutes max and it was right. Unlike many places that bug the crap out customers to add on overpriced stuff like air filters and windshield wipers this place didn't do this. While they recommended I get a new air filter soon they didn't try beat me over the head with the idea. I will definitely be back and recommend it to friends like me who've had a not so great experience in this area getting oil changes in the past. read more

These guys are the best... I brought my car into them after have a very bad experience with the local Ford dealership. They not only were very up front and honest with me about the pricing of what I needed done to my car, which is 18 years old at this point, they stood behind their work. I had brought my car in to them to get the breaks replaced and tires rotated. And while it was up on the lift, I had them check a transmission leak, that showed up after the Ford dealership changed my transmission fluid. Morgan Motors advised me that it was probably the gasket and replaced it. I brought it home and after a week I noticed that my car was still leaking. I called them that same morning, and they told me to come in, and they replaced the gasket no charge while I was waiting. At no charge. They advised me at the time that if the car was still leaking that it was probably the plate that would need to be replaced. My car is 18 years old, things wear out, so I take repairs with stride, the leak was still present after driving around for a week. I called again and they ordered the part I dropped it off, and picked it up the next day. When I went in, they told me it was no charge again. I said "Really??" and they said yes, I pretty much begged them to charge me the cost, and they so no charge again. What great customer service. I highly recommend Morgan Motors and they now have a customer for life. read more

Praise the heavens!! It's alive. My mom mobile ka-chunked on the freeway on Wednesday and I still drove it 20 miles sounding like a lawn motor killing a cat? I admit I had been driving it for months with a blinking check engine light. My bad!! Since this SUV hit 200k last week and a dozen years old, we weren't planning to do any major repairs. I was planning to drive it into the ground as long as possible. So I was waiting for bad news from mechanic and an estimate...he said it might take a day or two to look at it. Then? He called less than 24 hours later to say he fixed it. I was taken aback he just fixed it before calling with the problem and estimate--and in their defense, I probably signed something saying to fix up to certain amount--but then when he said what was wrong: Threw a spark plug coil, damaged cylinder, re-threaded cylinder, damaged ignition coil, installed aluminum mount, blah, blah, wonk, wonk, wonk, mechanic talk?! Oh crap!! I gulped for huge bill. I know last time spark plug coil assembly thingamajigger went bad three years ago in Portland, it was a $600 fix and there was no other damage. So? Damage this time? $339!! Really? Really? I wanted to hug him through the phone. Not chump change, but still not feeling the violation from other mechanics in the past and less than a car payment I was prepared to start making again. So my 2003 Expedition lives to drive another day! This same mechanic has honestly told me when things the dealer said needed to be repaired didn't ACTUALLY need to be repaired. He has told me stuff I can put off safely since it's an older car and other stuff that needs to be done...but at a great price. He has honestly referred me to the dealer when they might have a better deal--I replaced my transmission 4 years back with dealer because they had better warranty under his advice. They gave some fantastic advice once when I mentioned I was driving this car for as long as possible, but could not justify major repairs. He said, "You have a little wear/crack on this (can't remember what belt), but it doesn't need to be replaced. So if you are driving on vacation and something breaks down and they try to say you need this $1k belt replaced because it is cracking? Tell them it doesn't need to be replaced and your mechanic is keeping an eye on it." Who does that?? Seriously, it feels like having a big brother for a mechanic that is looking out for you! I cannot tell you how awesome it feels to have an honest mechanic! The only detractor is sometimes it takes a week to get my car in, but that tells me how in demand they are. So I am probably adding another day or two of wait to my next fix time, but if you are in Seattle area? Check out Morgan Motors and tell Kip that I sent you!! So worth it!! read more

I went to Morgan based on other reviews on Yelp. I thought my brake job and oil change were pricey. They were under dealer prices, but I still thought 39.95 for an oil change was too much. Also the brake inspection wasn't folded into the price for the rotors and pads. I haven't had any problems with the work. Also, cashier could have been more friendly/welcoming. read more

We experienced a freakishly random problem with one of our cars that could've prematurely relegated the car to the junkyard. The problem was so unusual that our regular auto shop did not feel comfortable with attempting to fix it. So, we called around, and someone suggested that we call Morgan Motors -- and we're so glad that we did. On the phone, Kip immediately assessed the problem, explained our options, proposed a course of action, and forthrightly advised us that his proposed course of action might not ultimately work. We followed Kip's recommendation, Morgan Motors was indeed able to fix the problem, and the car is working as great as ever. Bottom line, instead of scrapping the car for perhaps $500 in salvage value, Morgan Motors saved the car for about the cost of a monthly payment on a new replacement car. We couldn't possibly be more pleased with our experience at Morgan Motors, and we recommend them without hesitation or reservation. read more

This is my third time using Mmotor for my vehicle repairs. At all three experiences I've questioned the customer service (Kipp). I thought that maybe he just had a dry personality and that he was just a "matter of fact" kind of guy. It almost wanted me to try even harder to trust him being that he seemed very black & white and confident. However, after installing rotors and brakes all the way around 11,000 miles ago at "Morgan Motors" my front left brakes were failing! I actually pulled the tire off myself to see if perhaps a rock or something got jammed in between the rotor and pad but discovered that one of the brake pads on the exterior of rotor was worn completely down to metal. I then called Kipp and explained my situation and he thought it could be my caliper so he quoted me new front calipers, front rotors and front brakes. I actually decided to do the job myself and picked up all the parts from a local auto store. I again took off my front left tire and replaced the rotor and caliper. The last thing to install would be the brake pads and as I opened the new set of brake pads I noticed that they all didn't look the same. After a little research I learned that the pad(with little bunny ears)goes on the inner side of the rotor and the normal looking pad goes on the outer side of rotor. BUT, when I took the brake pads off that Mmotors installed I noticed that the inner pad and outer pad had bunny ears. I called Kipp first thing in the morning to tell him my findings and he was very curt and seemed offended that I was assuming that this could be a mistake on his behalf. He said for me to bring in the brake pads and rotor so that he could check it out. So, I took off of work so that I could meet with Kipp to figure this all out. I walked in and placed the rotor and brake pads on the counter and showed where the bake pad was metal to metal and that it damaged the rotor. His response was; Ok.........I mentioned that if you installed the pads with bunny ears on both sides of the rotor that it will tweak the caliper and could wear one side of your pads out. He said; well, was the caliper hitting the brake? I said I don't know but something isn't right. He said, you have to understand why I'm upset b/c your coming in here saying that we damaged your vehicle. Mind you, I never once pointed the finger and never 100% knew if this was a bad brake job. (I had my doubts for sure but didn't want him to know). This was why I was there to figure out the truth was all. As a customer we are titled to this! Right? This whole time he was upset and very curt. We actually went back and forth until he decided that he would put my truck on the lift and pull the other front wheel to look at the brakes to see if that side had normal looking pads and this would determine if it was a faulty brake job. I agreed to this and grabbed the rotor and pads to put back in my truck and he said that I could leave the rotor and pads there and that he wasn't going to"EAT THEM......"This pissed me off! I had enough of his curt attitude and rude comments!! I told him to stop acting like a Dick!!! Obviously he was very offended :) and we actually got into a pretty heated argument with customers of his waiting as well... I just don't think it's fair to get screwed out of a 800$ brake job and treated the way I did from a Dick! I decided to walk away at this point before it got worse but wanted to talk to the owner so I came back in and asked him if the owner was there. Kipp; Nope. How can I reach him? Kipp; when he's around...He then proceeded to tell me how he was just trying to rectify this problem and how I all the sudden turned to this crazy guy. if I would just let him put the truck on the lift that he would stand behind his work and reimburse me for the brake job if needed. I agreed to put the truck up on the lift, 10min later Kipp walked in and said WE F@$!@! Up!!! No apologies but I did feel better!! he was willing to do whatever necessary to make it right which I thought was cool. He asked me if I had all the parts to do the rest of the job that I had yet to finish and he would finish it for me at no cost and reimburse me for all the parts. Although I payed700$in materials He would pay only 371$ back to me and finish the job that wasn't right in the first place. I Asked to get reimbursed for the brake job, after all I did do a complete job on one tire minus the time off work and all the time I've spent on this whole ordeal. No luck from Kipp on this. I just wanted out of there at this point and move on.. this could have resulted in major accident! I couldn't imagine something bad happening with my wife and kids in my truck!!! I understand that we are human and make mistakes-Kipp should definitely learn how to treat people with respect is all I ask. I give 2 stars. 1 for giving me $ back and the other 1 for finishing the job. The rest of the stars were consumed by Kipp; he ate them :) read more
