2 hours to get tires I bought at swab's rotated. New customers spending money today getting seen before me. frustrating

Les Schwab saved the day. I went in with a tire pressure icon, and a red triangle icon. I asked if they could do a comprehensive check of my car, and they did so right away. Nick, the service representative, was very knowledgeable and communicated the issues in a intelligible manner to a lay person. I highly recommend this location! read more

I love Les Schwab! I have had so many issues with my brakes and tires, and I always get good service. They are quick and friendly. Everything has a warranty, and I appreciate that if you have their tires, they will fix a flat. I recently had a flat tire and broke the valve stem off and couldn't get the lug nuts off to put the spare on. I called, and they came and put my spare on and took my tire to fix it. read more

My mom lives in Dallas and has nothing but good things to say about this Les Schwab. We were visiting her when our Subaru drained its battery because the rear tailgate was open all night. I jump-started it and drove into Schwab. A tech ran out to meet me in their parking lot. He knew how to reset the stuck tailgate, then tested the battery to assure it was ok. Never seen such proactive, polite, and efficient service, all without any cost or profit. read more

Made an appointment to get tires mounted & balanced. Receptionist greeted me and asked what she could do for me. Told her I had a 3:00 appointment that was made prior day. She looked visibly stressed and confused. She quickly told me it could take as long as 3 hours or longer now remember it's 3:00 now. I was in the same trade 35 yrs and if someone made an appointment they had one. Tells me poor scheduling and communication. I'm new in this community and usually you only get one shot at a customer and it better be good. That would have been unacceptable in my shop. I was encouraged to make appointment so I could wait. This is horrible! I came in because we were stuck in the snow and bought a pair of chains that they installed and charged me a lot of money for. On my way home, not less than 5 minutes away in snowy conditions, the chains broke! I brought them back the next day, and all they would do is exchange them out. On my way home again, the same thing happened! I wanted my money back for everything which is only fair and all they will do is exchange them out. This is not right. I deserve all my money back because I didn't get any product for the $169 dollars they charged me! Obviously these aren't the right chains for my car and they should know that. If I could find my old review I would go back and change it and add to the story, but since I can't I will start a new one. Today Jacob and the team got me all fixed up and back on the road! After my last review and getting a phone message from Jacob, I took the car back over and let them check it out to see if they could figure out why my car was still shaking, and to get the tire with the screw in the sidewall replaced. They stood by the tire warranty and pro-rated me out some tires and got me out of there with four new tires for an amazingly reasonable price- and come to find out, I do not have bent wheels as I was previously told, and today my car finally once again drives like should. So Im not sure what was going on over there before. but it doesn't matter because today they got me all fixed up, and Jacob was awesome taking care of everything. THANK YOU! read more

I took a tire (their tire) in for repair (bead leak) I received a call stating they could not fix tire as there was too much chrome peel on my wheel! I went to pick the tire up and asked why they couldn't wire brush it and put sealer around it, I used to work at a shop and I know this is how you fix this, their response was " um no we just can't, the guy that worked on it has been here for 4 years so he knows what he is doing" I leave and take the tire to my old shop ( #Tire experts) and guess what??? They fixed it at no cost!!! People do your research before you pay their ridiculous prices, if I didn't know what I was talking about they would of sold me a whole new set of wheels!!! There are some things that I just love about Les Schwab. I love that they fix their tires for free. I love that they prorate if you need new tires with life still left in them. I love their customer service. And last but not least I love their popcorn. However there are a few things I don't love. They are expensive! I guess you pay for what you get. I always tell myself I'm going to shop around but it seems like whenever I need new tires it's in an emergency situation. I also don't like how long it takes. I am rarely ever out of the store in less then an hour and I don't have time for that. I love how involved Les Schwab is in the community. Seems like they are involved and helping in every activity! I just moved to Dallas, OR 4 months ago, and I have gone to Les Schwab three times already. 1. The first time was because Tires Plus in Minnesota told me it was "urgent" I spend $400 on new brake pads. Les Schwab told me my brakes were fine. No charge. 2. My license plates were stuck to the car because of rusted screws. They took them off. FREE 3. My right tire kept going flat. They found a nail in the tire and patched it. My first experience ever at a Les Schwab location. I recently moved to Oregon and had a tire that kept going flat. I called, made an appointment, dropped off the vehicle, came back a couple hours later to pick it up. Asked how much I owe, and the counter person told me no charge! Wow!! I told them I'm happy to pay!, they replied "we took care of you!" I will be back! Very impressive they did that. Usually companies attempt to get all they can...I didn't get that feeling here! Special thanks and praise to Loui because he's always efficient, professional, and always straight forward with what needs to be done. I've never actually met the manager, I usually just talk to Loui. Heading to work and got 2blocks from my home and realized I had a flat tire. Called at 8:09 to see if someone could air up my tire they said they would be able to. I called back at 9:20 to check and see about when they would be over here (0.8miles) and he said it would be hours before he got here and that he had a lot of people call before I called, and he needed a full crew before someone would come out. read more

Update: I received a call from the assistant manager, Adam who agreed to prorate the tires as should've been done from the get-go. I then received a call from Casey at heafquarters who apologized (that's the only apology I've received). This week I had the opportunity to stop in and get a qoute from the manager Dan, to install air bags on my new pickup truck. At the same time I asked if the current chains I had for the previous pickup truck would fit my new one. Dan stated no, they were too small. These chains were purchased from the Dallas Les Schwab store. These chains have never been used, and are in a new like bag as well. The reciept had been misplaced. Their computer didn't go back to the time that I had purchased them, reflecting the sale. I stated that I'd like to trade them in for a larger set. Dan stated that since I didn't have the original receipt, that he wouldn't take them back. Not only did he miss out on a $600+ air bag job, he has lost my family's future business. Over the years, we've done $1,000's with this Les Schwab store. So over what was basically a 10 cent item inwhich I would have paid to upgrade for, they will no longer get our business. So much for a business build on customer service. read more

Went to local Les and was again disappointed. Told me 45 to 1 hour for tirerotation. After 45 mins hadnt started. Another time they said I needed an alignment. After doing it they tell me I need new tires. Got new tires and asked to have the alignment redone. Nope. Lost my trust. read more

Dallas Les Schwabs needs to learn better customer service. Running to greet you is their motto. However, they straight up ignore customers until they have checked in inside. I would at least lije them to acknowledge a customer...because someone might just have a question or need air. read more

My husband is currently in remission from liver cancer therefore due to our medical bills along with other bills we are having to file bankruptcy. I called Lew Schwab in Dallas Oregon and told them we were filing bankruptcy and they came to take our tires that day. They were required to bring them back but the stress they caused has been huge. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. I had had credit with them for over 10 years then they did that. I could not believe it. read more
