If you need a mechanic, do NOT call them. Worst mechanics I have ever met. Took them 3 times to try and fix my truck, each time power steering pump went out and they couldn't figure out the problem. Finally took my truck to a real mechanic and they fixed the issue. Would not recommend getting mechanic work from them....ever!!! read more

You see if an organization is any good when things don't go well. Well we had a little bugaboo and when I came back 2 days later, Bernie at the counter was very concerned and wanted to rectify it. After moving to a new community, I needed to find a new mechanic. My man folk has been using Tire Experts and, specifically, the main man, Bernie, for years. We found that I needed to have my radiator, thermostat and cooling thing-a-gig replaced (mechanical terms, I'm sure!) I waited for the service, which took several hours. For the amount of work, I thought they were pretty darn fast. They kept me up to date and I was impressed at the reasonable cost. This place is a little dirty, but it's what you would expect from a shop that does real work. We rolled in on Monday afternoon, with a tire going flat. Since the place is busy, mostly doing great job and replacing for tires for car, they estimated 90 minutes to fix it. The tire was fixed, and put back on the car, in 35 minutes. Total charge: zero. I came here for ball joint replacement and an oil change a few months ago. I lift my hood for the first time since I have seen tire experts and I noticed that they broke the clip that holds the support rod under my hood. Instead of telling me what happened they just used a zip tie to hold the rod in place. I know it was them for the fact that they were the last to touch and open the hood. I liked them at first because they were very friendly but this makes me question the work that was done on my car. read more

I've purchase 3 sets of tires here, so obviously I'm happy. I come to Tire Experts for all my vehicle needs. Regular maintenance, Oil Changes, and pre-trip inspections. The last estimate and purchase on a set of tires for my JEEP was almost half of what Les Schwab quoted me, for the exact same tire! I've always been treated like a valued customer. Waited 4 hours for them to say they are still working on the very first car that showed up that day. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn't have wasted my time going in but they also can't give any indication as to wait times. They're very unorganized and do not take appointments. Saw the reviews on YELP and decided to get my tires and an overdue wheel alignment from them last September. Right about Bernie he is a personable guy, including the person taking care of my SUV. He took me to the service bay to show me the thickness of brake pads and that I still had over 5,000 miles left on them. Bernie assured me that they always shave the rotors when doing a brake job, which is always the correct way to do a brake job. Another sign of being in the right business is their clientele following. Certainly enough customers waiting along with walk in customers. read more

I went in yesterday and they said the work I needed would take an hour and to come back tomorrow at 8 when they open. I got there at 8 and asked if they could do an oil change and rotate the tires I bought from them a few months ago as well. It wasn't until 11:15 that they pulled my car into the garage and put it on the lift to make the repair. The repair took them 20 mins once they got started. They don't help customers in odrer, I sat there waiting only because the day prior they said it was an hour repair, they didn't mention that there was several people ahead of me or that it would take any longer then their estimate from yesterday. Then they didn't have the decency to tell If they changed the oil or rotated the tires. Considering I wasnt charged I'm going to guess not. This place has always had good prices when I call around for a quote. I have personally spent thousands of dollars on repairs at their shop and sent dozens of my friends and family to them but no more. To make me wait 3.5 hours for something that took 20 mins and not even do all the work I asked for and not even mention it is inexcusable. 3.5 hours is a long time to sit in a freezing cold waiting area I've never seen a dirtier waiting area! the vending machine is a good idea but card reader didn't work or have an "out of order" sign. read more
