My husband and I got new tires on one of our vehicles a few months back and ended up getting a screw stuck in one of them. I went in to get the hole fixed and they came back saying that "they found the issue". Then they continued to tell me that I needed to get two new tires instead of just fixing the tire with the hole. I asked if I could just get the hole fixed because that is what I came in for and that the tires on the car were just a few months old. I had also had a hole fixed by Les Schwab a few years ago so I knew that they could do it. They told me no and I ended up walking away with a bill 2x more than the service I came in for in the first place just because I had to get two new tires. It was an awful experience and I felt like I got scammed. I am appalled at this service since I have never had service at a Les Schwab like this before. read more

Bought tires from here, had them balanced and they had mentioned my brakes needed done as well. I decided to have a second opinion on the brakes and they said that they were still good. I brought them in for routine rotates and balances. Flash forward a year later and they fail on me on the way to Arizona. I have them done at a different tire shop there. They mention that the car was never balanced correctly and that's what caused the premature wear. No les Schwab in Arizona so I pay for all new tires. I call and they ask me to bring them back for warranty. I do and am left with a 60$ check, that covers 1/10 of the cost and on top of that claim that it was on me. What a joke, you need tires steer clear, let alone they will try to rip you off and say you need something replaced that doesn't need done. They quoted like 500ish for my brakes. I would go somewhere else who actually is doing it for the customer, not out to take your money. read more

Came in for an alignment and they told me they couldn't preform it because they had multiple problems that they said they would need to do and there was no way they could have looked at them with the time they had it. Went from 250 alignment to a 1700 repairs. Add insult to injury they left the truck in the on position and the fuel pump and radio running all day and put in the back of thier shop unlocked. Don't waste your time they will try to price gouge you and are in to much of a hurry to do look out for your vehicle. Witch makes me wonder if they even take thier time doing service. So I will never use this tire company ever again! They can't follow through with their warranty on a set of eight month old tires! My husband brought them in because the back tire was going flat. Then they gave him some excuse that the alignment is our fault! In your warranty it says you will replace them!! So now we are stuck and have to buy two new back tires! We haven't had issues, and we don't off road! It's a problem we drove our tires So they can't cover it! Then they take tires off and say it's the law that they can't put them back on! Long story. Went in for an alignment before a long trip. I was told I needed to replace a wheel bearing, and that was the only problem when, in reality, I also needed an alignment as well. I went home, and there was no play in the wheel, no abnormal noises while spinning, and no DTC indicating an abs issue with the bearing. I replaced it anyway, just to be safe. After doing the bearing, I drove down my front tires to the wire on the edges. The tires only had 9 thousand miles on them, and they would not warranty them because, contrary to what I was told, I did need an alignment. Every time I'm in there, someone is trying to get them to fix something they've done wrong. My favorite example is when a tech put tires on a truck that were 200$ cheaper per tire than what was on the customer's receipt. Other than this experience that I'm still very mad about, their service has been good. Just be sure to go over the statement from your visit because if I had, I'd have seen that the tech didn't know that the tech had unintentionally misinformed me. Everyone makes mistakes, and people lie so they can't believe every story they hear. Always read your service ticket and warranty; they will take care of you. read more

Fantastic experience. I went to get a tire change about 2 months ago or so and just have forgotten to write a review. But I loved the crew and loved my experience with those people. Great job and fair prices. I also appreciate the fact that at the time I had a lot going on with business and work and such and the attendant could've totally upsold me on tires I didn't need and I would've said yes just from being oblivious, but I appreciate the fact he recognized my situation didn't necessitate more than what I needed. That behavior is what has won my business and I will 100% return for new tires when I need them. Wish I could remember that employees name to thank him. read more

Top notch! I always get excellent service from Les Schwab and they also have the best designed snow chains I've ever seen. I am spending a few days in Rexburg cleaning out a storage unit I had when I moved to Portland a few years ago. Well I picked up a couple of nails in my left rear tire from driving around town. I was able to swap on my the spare and I brought the tire to Les Schwab. They waived the $14 repair fee and fixed the tire. When I came back to pick it up they even offered to put it on for free too. Boy, once in a while you find yourself in circumstances that thrust you into reliance on strangers. I got a late night flat in Island Park and got a tow to Les schwab Rexburg and spent the night in my car with my dog hoping for the best when Les Schwab opened in the morning. Lee was so kind and helpful. My Tesla performance tires proved very hard to find. Lee managed a way to get them from Salt Lake in less than 24-hours when no other tire shop in Rexburg or Idaho Falls could even come close, even going so far as to meet the delivery truck halfway if need be. I ended up with a new set of 4 tires for $500 less than my last set cost me, and on my way to California again with less than a one-day delay. Thank you so much Lee and Les Schwab! read more

Never go here. This company overall is good, but take the drive to St. Anthony, the Rexburg shop is an absolute nightmare! One of the employees backed into my car and then refused to pay damages. In addition, the company has refused to return my calls or accept any responsibility. I can't express this enough, don't be niave like me, avoid this place like the plague. read more

This was the only place in town that had the tire size I was looking for and for a pretty decent price. We called everywhere in Rexburg and IF and nobody had them in stock but these guys. We walked in, got the tires mounted and balanced in less than 10 minutes and got free popcorn and used their phone chargers. Also the popcorn wasn't that crappy stale kind, it was actually good. My mom needed to do an emergency repair at this shop and they know she's in a rough spot so they price gouged her. They charged her 350 dollars to replace a hub assembly on her chevy avalanche because the bearing went bad. The part costs 50 dollars and the labor time is less than 1 hour. I am an ASE certified mechanic and can tell you that 300 per hour for labor is insane. They also told her that her break pads needed to be replaced soon and offered to do it for an additional 285. They already were taking off the caliper on the hub they had to replace so the realistic labor cost should be 100 dollars if they were charging fair for labor. The break pads cost 40 dollars so to say 285 when the calipers had to come off on one side anyways is really bad. Don't take your vehicle here. They are dishonest and take advantage of people on the road. I would have done the repairs on the side of the road myself for her if I was with her but I'm in Florida and could only sit back and listen to this bs and get mad because they are price gouging my mother read more

If you have a nail in your tire I recommend going here but be warned! They will try and pressure you into paying for repairs you don't need. I went in with a flat tire and they fixed it but then offered me a free brake inspection. Being a girl that knows nothing about cars it seemed like a good deal. They come back with a huge list of repairs. They basically say EVERYTHING needs to be replaced brake pads, brake rotor and some other third thing. They proceed to try and sell me on paying $500 for the best parts with an awesome warranty and their labor fees were more than half the cost. But my dad always warned me about car places since they pray on young ignorant girls. They made it sounded like I need to get them replaced right now or I would damage my car. But I was hesitant and wanted a second and third opinion. I went to BYU-Idahos auto shop (known for their honesty and inexpensiveness) the students and teacher were baffled at why I brought my car in. They said everything looks great and you have at least another 6 months or so before needing to get your brake pads changed but everything looks amazing. So moral of the story they are a tire shop that fixes tires real well but will try and scam you into getting other repairs done. Be careful read more

My family and I have done business with Les Schwab for years, until recently. I bought a used car recently and of course the previous owner didn't have the purchase information on his tires. I took them to Les Schwab and asked if they could check them over for me and quote me on a rotation and balance. Unfortunately they rotated and balanced them and then gave me the quote(bill) to pay... not only was it not what I asked them to do (check the tires and then quote and then maybe service), it was a very expensive (way more than the usual). Customer service over the last couple of years has gone way down here. I'd recommend trying somewhere else or at least researching the brand of tire on your outfit to make sure it's the same these guys sell or could cost ya a pretty penny. read more
