I have been a Les Schwab customer for over 50 years. I went to my local store in Weiser to get a quote on new tires for my pickup. After telling the representative the size I needed twice, the technician there kept trying to sell me the wrong size tires. After working through that, I was quoted $1352 for a set of 4. Thinking the price somewhat exorbitant, I contacted Commercial Tire in Ontario for a quote, which I where I subsequently purchased the tires - $776 for a set of four tires of the same size, style, and manufacturer as those quoted by Schwab, a savings of nearly $500! What a rip-off from Schwab! Commercial Tire was cost effective and the personnel friendly and courteous, listening to my needs and not how much money they could take me for. Les Schwab was a great company went Les was alive, but now that the company is owned by a corporate hedge fund, it's all about money and nothing else. I'll never buy tires from them again! Not only that, the people that work there don't know anything about the business they're in, if my experience is any example. Look elsewhere than Les Schwab; I'll be going to Commercial Tire. read more

Just purchased a Rough Country 3.5" suspension lift and 35" Cooper STT Pro tires for my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie and had these guys install them. The Manager Brad went above and beyond for me during this transaction. They made sure everything was clean when I was done and everything was correctly installed the first time. Alignment was correct and truck is a dream to drive. This is my third set of Cooper tires from this company and I have been treated fairly each and every time I walk in the door. Great job guys.. I had a blowout on the freeway just outside of Ontario 5 miles from home. I am old now and didn't want to attempt changing the tire on the side of the highway. AAA towed my car 2minutes before closing time. I called Commercial Tire and they were so kind. They stayed until we got there and set up to get the tires I wanted. They had it finished this morning. I am so grateful for the staff and the service. Really above and beyond. I recommend this business. read more

My car broke down across the street. It would not start. Wayne from Commercial Tire's walked across the street put in a battery and got me going. I then drove to the shop and Wayne fixed a broken wire and installed a new battery. I'm from out of the area and Wayne saved the day. Commercial Tires company and staff are awesome. I took this truck in before I bought it to have the left front wheel speed sensor diagnosed. The rancher I bought the truck from stated the ABS light had been on since he brought the truck home from Commercial tire. His ranch has multiple vehicles and used commercial tire for all their front end/tire/brake work. The rancher would have no reason to lie to me and he had the left front wheel bearing replaced less than 12k miles ago. Took it to Commercial tire and the salesman agreed to look at it. Came back after 45 minutes and said there's no power to the wheel speed sensor and he would need more time to diagnose. Not willing to stand behind the work his company and even this location completed. I wouldn't recommend Commercial Tire for any of your maintenance needs unless it's strictly tires which they have to stand behind. Update:took it to R&R wheel in garden city-weird. Power was getting to the speed sensor but the sensor was bad. It's clear that the employee didn't know what he was talking about and lied to get me down the road. I'll go on down the road Commercial Tire and I'll never be back. I drive by Commercial Tire daily and have a total of 11 axles with brakes and 22 tires and I'll never step foot inside one of your shops. read more

Felt Completely Shafted! Well, my wife just left Commercial Tire in Ontario Oregon after spending $80.00 on a synthetic oil change for a 2016 honda civic. Don't get me wrong...I understand a premium is paid anytime you bring your vehicle in for anything. I always change our oil...always have & always will...this time however i'm working & were leaving early AM...just bring it in & get it done so i don't have to deal with it tonight I said...BOOM $80.00 WTH? I always use premium products in this case Mobil one filter and Mobil One full synthetic oil...total cost 22.98 for the oil & 9.97 for the filter...MY COST! It takes me...not being a mechanic 20 - 25 min to change the oil on a bad day. Soooo $50 bucks in labor for a freakin' oil change on MAYBE 10min work?! That just greed pure & simple...NEVER will you see our vehicles again...not ever. read more

I grew up in this business and have managed both Goodyear and Firestone stores. My brother owns and operates one of the largest shops in Spokane that My family has owned for nearly 60 years..................my daughter needed 5 used tires mounted on her pickup today before leaving for California in the morning. Total charge........just under 160.00...........absolutely ridiculous. Schwab charged 80.00 a couple of weeks ago to mount and balance 4 tires......I thought that was high but these guys are stone crooks. I called and complained...they said to send her back and they would improve the bill whatever that means. The problem I have is what about the unknowing person that pays the bill and just thinks that is what it should be..........this is a really poor busisness practice. Oh....my brother charges 12.50 a tire in Spokane with one of the largest tire stores in town. read more
