It's a nice little park on/near the water. The view from the park is pretty spectacular, and I enjoy listening to the boats clink like glasses as they are moved by the small waves. Not much to say, but... it's nice and I'm thankful that it's there (and open to the public)...

I saved this shelter from burning down 9 years ago. Some fools put too much wood in the burner and the flames was as high as 6 feet tall. Lucky the fire fighters and me was there to slow the blaze down.

Beautiful, lovely running trails, and universally loved by the community! Just a little sparse.

Extra points if you visit around sunset. It's small and parking is limited. Be prepared to park and walk - especially if you visit during peak times.

A couple things to consider as you are planning your trip to Kerry Park: 1) the park is located on a extremely steep hill (you can definitely walk to it, but you'll likely be exhausted walking all the way up to the top from lower Queen Anne), 2) if you are driving it may take some time to find parking as the park is tucked away in a neighborhood, and 3) Mount rainier is viewable from the park on a clear day, you'll want to stop by on a sunny and clear day if possible (the view is still beautiful if the weather is overcast, but it's even better if it's sunny and clear). When you arrive to Kerry Park you'll be greeted with a postcard perfect view of Seattle/the puget sound, and a relaxing atmosphere. It can get busy but spots will naturally open up where you can take photos. I'd recommend going close to sunset if you can time it. Btw, if you are a Grey's anatomy fan some of the house filmed at are tucked away in the Queen Anne neighborhood.
