Excellent redevelopment of this area! It went from industrial to a lovely park where everyone can enjoy the views, lots of picnic spots, Ferris wheel, restaurants etc. There are a variety of vendors selling arts/crafts type items on the plaza as well as a lot of picnic tables where people are picking up food and coming to enjoy the views. There is a nice children's playground and the views of the water are fantastic. We did walk through the Miners village building, and there are a variety of restaurants in here along with an arcade / gaming area and a variety of shops. It looks like it comes alive mostly in the evening. Very touristy There is a Starbucks in the vicinity here (of course) While we didn't ride the Ferris wheel, the pricing is $23 for adults, $21 for seniors and $18 for youth - the weather doesn't say cloudy today it says smoky and as you can see, it is quite overcast so I didn't think we would have great views They have security folks walking around here so felt safe Lots of picnic tables so grab some lunch and enjoy !

Love the new waterfront. Super open, clean, and the views are gorgeous. Pier 62 is great for hanging out or catching events, and the Overlook Walk is a must for photos. Nice spot to chill after Pike Place, feels way more inviting now.

Amazing bicycle riders with sweeping views of Elliot Bay

Pretty cool place, but the walkers walk in the bike lanes, and the bicyclist's speed by and almost run into people.

Extra points if you visit around sunset. It's small and parking is limited. Be prepared to park and walk - especially if you visit during peak times.

A couple things to consider as you are planning your trip to Kerry Park: 1) the park is located on a extremely steep hill (you can definitely walk to it, but you'll likely be exhausted walking all the way up to the top from lower Queen Anne), 2) if you are driving it may take some time to find parking as the park is tucked away in a neighborhood, and 3) Mount rainier is viewable from the park on a clear day, you'll want to stop by on a sunny and clear day if possible (the view is still beautiful if the weather is overcast, but it's even better if it's sunny and clear). When you arrive to Kerry Park you'll be greeted with a postcard perfect view of Seattle/the puget sound, and a relaxing atmosphere. It can get busy but spots will naturally open up where you can take photos. I'd recommend going close to sunset if you can time it. Btw, if you are a Grey's anatomy fan some of the house filmed at are tucked away in the Queen Anne neighborhood.
