I never felt like I was left hanging by her. She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of questions) in a very timely manner. When she arrived, I explained my situation to her. I deal with a lot of depression, ADHD, and anxiety. This makes things like keeping a tidy home completely overwhelming. So, instead of taking care of the problem, I let it get worse. The worse it got, the more depressed I became. I explained all of this to her, and she listened like a friend instead of someone I had hired to clean my apartment. She was completely empathetic and non-judgmental. She was also very straightforward yet tactful about what needed to get done. At one point, I thought I had to reschedule because I had an appointment and I didn't know what to do about my dog. Brea told me not to worry, she was very good with pets, and she had experience because she had a boxer at home. Penelope approved of her right away, and Brea's energy made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. She worked for hours and it showed. My apartment was sparkling and it smelled incredible! I love my dog, but she has some aromas that I absolutely do not love. I had asked Brea to add floor polishing and sofa cleaning to my package which I already felt was well priced for everything she was planning to do. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to remove all of Penelope's fur, and my floors were absolutely gleaming. Not only that, she had cleaned every single baseboard and my ceiling fans until they were unrecognizable. Brea left me with more than just a clean home. She left me with a fresh slate. It's much easier to maintain a clean home than it is to clean a messy one. I find myself fastidiously, wiping every surface the moment a crumb falls. I plan to hire her to help me maintain the level of clean she achieved. I figure that the cost of the cleaning will be worth the peace of mind it gives me. I can only conclude that he doesn't care about the quality his business provides. When I reservedly told him dusting and vacuuming were not done well, his response was 'the ladies reported that you stepped on mopped floor'.... What does that have to do with their poor performance? And the 'mopped floor' they were referring to was our foyer area that they mopped as they were leaving so of course I have to step on it to close the door after them. I tried to be considerate with small and big issues; even when he put me in a bad situation two months ago by failing to keep the schedule and not showing up. It's upsetting to end with such disappointment. If anyone close to me asks, I don't recommend this company. Their fee is not worth their performance nor customer service by the owner.

Context: we are in the process of preparing to move. The cleaners said they normally start in the primary bedroom, and when it wasn't available at the start time, they went to the kitchen. So far so good. And I'm working alongside - like I said, we're prepping the house, it's a team sport. But then they'd start to get sidetracked or hyperfocused on non-issue areas like intensely scrubbing the top inside of the oven or wiping each blind over and over. I really don't want to be micromanaging, so I text the HQ and just make sure we're on the same page of the things that were outlined in their inclusions. I say that since we're mostly interested in taking care of stuff that will show in photos, I wonder if we could deprioritize the drawer interior wiping and organizing. And they would respond to that, but then get hung up on something else. What didn't make sense to me was, again, the fact that the house was in a pretty normal condition as far as the stuff that people usually have around the house, but the cleaners were operating like they were only used to doing a rental deposit prep after belongings had been taken out. Fast forward to now, several days later. Every day I'm finding things that were definitely in their cleaning path that were completely ignored. It's unfortunate that I didn't notice them when they were here, but again, who wants to micromanage? And yet I'm taking magic erasers to blinds - the ones that they spent a ton of time on - because there are very obvious but very cleanable (read: one magic eraser swipe) spots on them. I literally picked a dead mosquito out of the window sill shortly after they left. I will say this - together, we got a lot more done in a relatively short amount of time than I would've been able to do on my own. The office staff were quick to respond and communications were prompt and professional. But if you need an extra set or two of hands of people who will work, there are better-priced alternatives, and I'm sure you'll find one or two that will dazzle you with the results. tl;dr: A Better Choice?
